This is the first time that I've eaten at this food truck. Although it's taste of the Pacific it's pretty much Filipino food. Chicken adobo came with rice for 10 bucks and it was okay. It was like something your mom would make which isn't necessarily bad, I just didn't think it was spectacular and I certainly wouldn't order it again. Next time they come I'll go with the barbecue on the stick and get some of those lumpia mad hopefully add another star!

A quick lunch break during my catering delivery, I spotted this Filipino food truck which looks quite good. I drive pass by Navy Federal in Vienna on daily basis so I see all types of food trucks out there which some are not that appealing or even interesting. This food truck offer small selection of comfort, simple Filipino food. I went for Platter #1 which includes:- Pork barbecue skewered, taste exactly like Thai barbecue that I'm familiar with. Tender, flavorful, sweet and salty.- Pancit rice noodles which I thought it might be on the plain side but nope, the noodles had lots of flavor. I added some red chili flakes and it taste even better.- Lumpia, the most divine Filipino snacks, always delicious. Unfortunately, didn't expect to see such micro-sized lumpia, I'm a bit disappointed.Overall, tasty. Everything had lots of flavor similar to Thai food that I love. Price is fine, reasonable for food truck. Portion is somewhat small but then again you can never have enough delicious Asian food.Hope to see this food truck in Vienna again, I'd love to try their Tapsilog next time.Lastly, the girl with a black hat who take orders was very friendly and adorable.

There are a group of food trucks on Wilson Boulevard in Arlington everyday, so I decided to try this one. I opted for platter that included the noodles, two egg rolls, and a FLAVORFUL chicken kebab. The noodles were a little bland but when I creates the perfect forkful combination of noodles chicken I appreciated the blandness of the noodles that let the chicken shine. The portion size is so large I couldnt finish everything in one sitting but it reheated well. I also opted to try the turno banana dessert with my meal which was only an additional 75 cents. The sweet banana reminded me a Caribbean plantain food. It was crispy and flavorful but not too sweet and I didnt feel guilty after eating it. Would definitely recommend this truck.

I usually avoid the food truck lines in the summer heat but when I saw the BBQ sticks I just had to order $10 Platter #2 (BBQ sticks, noodles and egroll). My pictures are half eaten bbq chicken and pork sticks. Missing in my picture are the little divine lumpia eggrolls dipped in the sweet chili. On the side I got additional dessert banana plantain eggrolls. You must try the desert rolls for 75 cents each. Next time I will get the garlic rice with egg. Or on a lighter note just a side of BBQ with white rice. Yummy so many possible combinations in such a tiny truck. Coworkers were even stopping me in the hallway asking about my strange food. Please come back to my office.

Truly delicious homestyle Filipino food. They are so friendly and the food is worth every penny! I got the tapsilog, which is a portmanteau for Filipino-style cured beef (tapa), garlic fried rice (sinangag), and fried egg (itlog). I also got the pork BBQ, which I highly recommend.Really hoping they get added to the Food Truck Fiesta site and that they visit Ballston more often.PRO TIP: Ask for spicy vinegar and dip everyyythingggg in it!

I've only just recently started a job that pulled me out of my Clarendon comfort zone to the bustle of Rosslyn, and finding this little mobile oasis of comfort food has been my saving grace. I walk by this truck almost every day, and noted the presence of lumpia on the menu almost from day one. But, because of the chilly winter weather, I have shied away from it in favor of lunch spots with central heat. What a mistake. All I ordered today was the lumpia to bring back to the office and supplement my meager leftover lunch with. I ordered a half dozen, but was given a full dozen (whether or not I was charged for the full dozen I neither know yet nor care). These lumpia taste like a little slice of Pacific island sunshine and immediately brought me back to the afternoons spent at my Lola's house, burning my fingers because I was too impatient to let them cool down. My only gripe with them is that the filling-to-wrapper ratio is a little off, they could definitely use more filling. They are fried-to-order to perfection and served with a side of sweet chili sauce for dipping! Yum!This food truck has changed my outlook on the huge food truck mania sweeping DC, which I really just can't get on board with. I admittedly haven't tried anything else from this food truck, but the lumpia warrant a five-star review on their own, and I will be back to explore more of their food soon!

This truck is a gem! I've just recently discovered my love for Filipino food in the last year and on the search for more Filipino digs across the DMV. Their menu is short and sweet but the food is spot on. I had the pork bbq on a stick on their rice noodles, lumpia (eggrolls) and plantain dessert. It was all so good I wish I had more. The only downside to this truck is that they don't have a lot of social media presence so it's hard to follow them. They have facebook but no twitter and their facebook page is not updated frequently. Get a twitter account so that Food Truck Fiesta can report on your locations!

I ordered the platter #2 with both pork and chicken skewers. The chicken by far was the better of the 2. It comes with 2 tiny egg rolls that were delicious! It also came with cellophane noodles. Not tremendously flavorful but good. Overall it was good , a lot of food for the $10 price tag- a good deal not common amongst food trucks in NOVA.I wouldn't shy away from eating it again but I wouldn't seek it out.
