An absolute incredible restaurant and vision from Chef Patrice. There is nothing you can order on the menu that would be bad. The way that Chef has put a personal touch on traditional dishes creates a true masterpiece. We ordered the lumpia, sizzling sisig, lechon kawali, Laing, and crab fat Pancit, we ended the night with the ube bread pudding and and pie. Yummmm can't wait to go back!

We went a day after restaurant week and they were still offering their restaurant week special. Our waiter was amazing and gave us great recommendations. The restaurant was small but nicely set up. Appetizers: our favorite was the crab confit. 10/10 would come back just for that. The skewers were okay and we weren't impressed by the sliders. They were just generally okay.Main: spicy adobo chicken - chicken was pretty good but we weren't a fan of the rice nor the salad. The chicken was fried to perfection Short ribs - pretty decent and fall off the bone. Wasn't a huge fan of the coconut milk base but also didn't hate itDessert:Chocolate cake: my boyfriend loved it and said it was very rich and deliciousUbe Bread Pudding: LOVED THIS! Honestly, this was the standout for me. Sweet but not too sweet. Just perfect.I will say that I'm interested in coming for their brunch because I've heard great things!

This review reflects my experience dining out with celiac disease, an autoimmune disorder that requires me to maintain a diet free of gluten (including cross contact).SERVICE: 4/5 starsDRINKS: 4/5 starsFOOD: 4/5 starsAMBIANCE: 3/5 starsVALUE: 4/5 starsOVERALL RATING: 4/5 starsI love dining at Purple Patch. Whenever I visit, I feel confident that the food I order will be made gluten-free (with low risk of cross-contamination). It is a staple that I include in my restaurant rotation, going every few months.I dined at Purple Patch earlier this month with a large group for our monthly book-club brunch. Our server accurately managed orders for our party of 12. While there is not a separate gluten-free menu, the full menu is annotated with allergy markings, including for those avoiding gluten. I ordered the brunch bowl (unfortunately, that is the only gluten-free entrée on the brunch menu, though we did have access to the brunch and dinner menus during our early afternoon meal). It was delicious; the portion was sufficiently large to bring some home for lunch the next day. I did not experience any symptoms from exposure to gluten or cross-contamination in the 24 hours following brunch. To accompany my brunch, I had an island mimosa (with orange juice). It was a standard pour, tasting as expected.Because of our party size, a 20-percent service charge was applied to the check. I plan to return to Purple Patch once it's warmer outside, so I may dine on their lovely streatary.

We did bar seating since we didn't have a reservation. There were big TV screens by the counter broadcasting sports. We enjoyed the mocktails but I would say that the food was on the saltier side. My eggplant dish was pretty soaked in so much sauce that I felt like it was soggy. Perhaps if we ordered more standard brunch items with ube it wouldn't have this turnout but we were looking to have lunch so given the timing I would say our experience was pretty average.

Wow! We came in with a large group as the last reservation of the night and they just went above and beyond. Had a birthday sign set up and made sure we were well taken care of. Grew up eating chicken adobo and have never had the chance to try Filipino cuisine at a restaurant. Safe to say, we all went home with full bellies. We started with lumpia and sliders, everyone got their own entrees or shared and we split a few desserts. Cocktails were all amazing as well. Can't go wrong!

Everything was so delicious! Lechon Kawali for appetizer seems like too heavy and the ube chai was lukewarm at best. But other than that, I love Purple Patch. Inventive spins on Filipino staples. Favorite of mine is the Pork Ribs Bicol Express and the Ube Bread Pudding. Nice decor, well lit, everything was clean, and servers were nice. Do wish they bussed more often/took plates away. But maybe thats because we were out there between 3-4.

Ube espresso martini was delicious and I have been craving Bicol express for years. Theirs does not disappoint! The portion sizes were very large so I had some leftovers to take home. It reheated well too! Desserts were also very delicious.

My friends recently came to Purple Patch for brunch and loved it, so we decided to try it for dinner, which ended up being a wonderful idea!We started with Mama Alice's Lumpia, which were lovely! Thin, crispy, and flavorful. I didn't care for the vinegar sauce (just a bit too much for me), but the other one was delicious. For the entree, I got the pork adobo with white rice, and it was very good. It didn't initially look like a big portion, but I was very satisfied by the end. The pork was tender, the potatoes weren't mushy, and the rice soaked up the sauce perfectly. I wish there was a bit more of the bok choy, which added a nice crunch, but it was still a very solid dish. My friends got the coconut-braised short rib adobo and the red snapper relleno, which also looked great and they said they enjoyed (my friend would rate the coconut-braised dish as a 9/10, he said!)For dessert, my friend got the ube bread pudding, and he RAVED about it! I got the classic tres leche cake. The flavor was outstanding! I wish tres leche cakes held up a bit better texture-wise, but the flavor is so good that it doesn't matter. I also had a Puerto Princesa cocktail, which was honestly a highlight of the meal! The atmosphere was nice, and the service was quick, friendly, and helpful. I would definitely come back!

Very accommodating for a party of 7. We came for a work outing and we tried various dishes shared family style. The food isn't served family style, but we got a few dishes to try amongst the table since we had never tried Filipino cuisine. We started with lumpia's which is like an egg roll and the chicken, pork and steak skewers which were really tasty. Honestly, I was full off that before the food even came. All of the food was tasty and I can't recall every dish, but at least I have photos!

My partner and I had Purple Patch on our list for a while, and we were very excited to finally try this spot out. We were blown away by the authentic Filipino dishes and the staff were very knowledgeable of the menu providing their favorites and suggestions. We of course started with Mama Alice's Lumpia, which was so good. We also had the chicken adobo and the ginger pork belly pancit. Both dishes were incredible in their preparation and the flavors of them were great. The restaurant was lively but quaint and we loved our experience. We can't wait to return soon!
