Came here for an afternoon coffee and loved the quaint shop! I got an Iced Cappuccino with Hazelnut - very flavorful, strong, and not too sweet. The ambiance is very fast casual and provides a variety of beverage and food options, specifically their signature crepes. The service was speedy and kind. Excited to come back and try their crepes!

The food here was good. Really enjoyed the crepe and I don't generally like crepes. So good and flavorful. Totally delicious. Got the macchiato latte and it was good, hot and strong. Perfect on a cold and windy day.

Strong cappuccino - just the way I like it but don't expect any foam art on top. They don't use Lavazza espresso beans for the cappuccino but whatever they use was fine. Nutella Strawberry banana crepe is good - with fresh strawberries - at par with most crepe places that I've been to.Fast service and plenty of seating.

I ordered through the Ritual app, which allows you to order ahead and pick up food in store. I ordered the savory crepe with chicken and pesto, which was a good size but none of the ingredients were fresh, the pesto was unsatisfactory, and the chicken was a mix of old white and dark meat. There was also far too much feta that it was like eating a brick of cheese with bad meat.I paid $2 extra to get avocado, and they didn't include it. Super disappointing. I wouldn't come here again. Lunch was one big sad face today!

WARNING: TMIPre-Covid I used to dine here whenever I was nearby, back when it was located over on 14th Street NW downtown. The menu is the same, savory and sweet crepes, about two dozen varieties each. I enjoy the President's Crepe, a kind of everything pizza crepe that only leaves out one ingredient, eggs.I was on a staycation and arrived shortly after 8 am, maybe the first customer of the day, the only one in the place. My crepe was great. I wanted an iced coffee, so I ordered a cold brew over ice.The only staffer, who didn't seem to speak a lot of English, was having trouble with the cold brew dispenser. I am now thinking the cold brew was made overnight or was left in the machine from the day before. It was very strong. I probably should have sent it back but I was reading a book and listening to the news on a radio app and just thought the ice would melt and dilute it.After I left I went one metro stop away to a gym. I'm glad I made it. In the single person rest room at the gym, changing into my workout clothes, I had an explosive situation. But I made it to the plumbing in time. Then while lifting weights, a small accident in my pants. This isn't something that happens to me routinely. Then when I went to shower (thankfully single person bathrooms with showers, not merely private shower stalls), another explosion on the toilet. Then IN the shower (sorry, I did hose it down afterwards) not one but two more completely involuntary and unexpected explosions. Now I feel sick. I imagine I am dehydrated.-----Still ill eight hours later. My co-workers say coffee does not do this to you. It must have been the food. It tasted fine. Was the meat old?

An accessible cafe on the Foggy Bottom campus--located in the Duques building (and across from Gelman library. They serve crepes, paninis, and salads.Like all on-campus cafes/food, it is overpriced.I've been here 3x with friends before and after class for a quick bite...and I was not impressed. Not only is service SLOW. The service is also horrific. One time I went around 8:30am to buy a beverage before class--and the cafe was generally empty. Two tables were taken by a party of 2 and a party of 1 and no one was in line. I grabbed my drink for the cooler and had to wait for someone to ring me up. I made eye contact with the cashier 3-4x who was just chatting with her co-worker. I asked them if I can buy the drink, and was met with a cashier that reluctantly came over to the cash register and did the transaction without saying a word. Ripped up my receipt in front if me and went back to her coworker. Needless to say, I will not be returning. What a disappointment.

This place used to be GW Java Cafe and Point Chaud Cafe and Crepes came in. This has been a great decision by GW because who doesn't love crepe?ORDERINGThe experience was fast and the associate was able to help me to make a decision to order the hot chocoletta(which is milk with nutella). FOOD & DRINKThe hot chocoletta was really good and amazing!! Had a banana crepe and I was pretty satisfactory. They serve whip cream on the side. The only downside is that you don't really eat the crepe with the banana, but personally for me, I was eating banana and the crepe separately. But overall, the crepe tasted very sweet, healthy and delicious.PAYMENTThey accept both GWord, Cash & Credit Card

For a quick coffee break and snack while in the business school this place isn't bad. The coffee here is not great and the servers can do better at fulfilling orders correctly. I tried to get a latte and the server was so rude to me and had no patience in trying to understand what I wanted in my coffee. I do like the crepes though and they have so many options/flavors to choose from which makes it great once they get it right. They have good gelato as well.

So happy this place replaced GW Java because those employees were seriously some of the slowest, grumpiest I have ever seen! The new employees for Point Chaud are definitely faster, but still not a great standard of customer service. +The menu has a decent selection of food+The smoothies are a nice treat-I'm disappointed that there are no combo deals. -Overpriced-Skimpy

The first time I came, they got my order wrong. The second time, it took 15 minutes for them to make me a latte. This was the third time I came and the quiche was still raw.
