The service was amazing. Everyone was very kind and joyful. The coffee (standard oat milk latte) was good, and the baked goods were fantastic. I had the chocolate croissant and the ham and cheese croissant. The pastry was flaky, tender, moist, and had good flavor. The ham and cheese was really great, too. I would have liked a bit more chocolate in the chocolate croissant, but otherwise really nice.I will absolutely be back!

I've had Pluma croissants at work plenty of times and they are buttery flaky little pillows of deliciousness. Today I stopped in with a friend who loves bakeries and here's what I thought. - seems like a good spot to get work done if you work from home. It smells delicious in here and there's a long table with lots of space. A couple people were on their laptop so I'm assuming there's free WiFi. - service was fine, the associate was helpful and efficient. - you MUST try to this apple croissant pastry with caramel on it. It was a great pairing of sweet and salty. It was $6 - not too big of a fan of their chai, I'd go somewhere elseCheck it out when in the union market area and need a treat

There almond croissants are amazing! Definitely my go to for that. I must say, I think charging $5 for a 8oz latte is criminal! Especially when it isn't the best latte in the city! Customer service is decent. The cashier never greets me but I digress. The barista is super friendly. Seating is available via a long community table with bar seating on the outskirts and some tables outside. It's always pretty packed and busy.

Love this cute little cafe I bumped into while walking to Union Market. While it's small it has a cozy feel. There are some window facing seats and a longer table. The croissant I had taste very fresh and well made and had a nice oat milk latte. The staff seemed nice, although it was a bit of a wait for my drink since cashier seemed to also be making drinks.

My husband and I usually do a "bakery tour" when we come to D.C. Pluma was on our list this last weekend and didn't disappoint!! Everything was absolutely amazing. The service was incredibly friendly, the atmosphere was inviting and it was lovely to watch the world go by as we ate our pastries and drank our coffee. We each got the "Sammy OG"; all I can say is WOW. That pork belly is a show-stopper. We also got the almond croissant, the chocolate pistachio croissant and a cappuccino, a Spanish coffee and a white mocha. Truly everything was delicious. We will for sure be back!

We tried their iced chai & enjoyed it! One of the best chai in DC. Will definitely be back! Nice shop.

I picked up a variety of pastries to bring back home with me to the Midwest when I was here last weekend. I got their butter croissant, chocolate croissant, almond croissant, and pistachio chocolate croissant. I wasn't a fan of their pistachio chocolate croissant and thought the butter croissant and almond croissant are fine/okay. I would say their chocolate croissant is quite good. I would recommend grabbing that when you're here and I would come back for it. The shop is spacious and have tons of seating indoor and outdoor. It's also worthwhile to walk around the area as there are a lot of food places around here if you want to grab a bite for lunch, dinner, or even dessert!

This cafe left me feeling a little blue(bird). I stopped in here for a midday coffee and left with a chai instead... so here's the tea:There is some indoor seating and minimal but cute decor. They had a ton of intriguing looking pastries (that cost a pretty penny but maybe that's just DC for ya). The baristas were very nice, but I ordered a ice latte and after paying was notified they didn't have any milk. So I changed my order to a matcha latte. I went to the restroom and came back to my drink not ready and to find out they were out of matcha too. I finally settled on a chai latte which they did make quickly. It was just ok, a little sweet and not a lot of spices. Given the number of coffee shop options in this area I don't think I'd go back given my experience, but I'm sure this is a unique one. However, I still can't recommend it given the number of drink changes.

Second time at pluma bakery, this time at the newly opened store at waterfront with gorgeous aesthetics. Other than a flat white, we split a quiche and danish tart (figs) amongst two of us and enjoyed it.

I ordered the Pistachio Croissant and enjoyed it. The texture of the croissant was very good: slightly crispy on the outside and soft and buttery inside. The pistachio filing was great since it was creamy and full of great pistachio flavor without being too sweet.Pluma is located in a good foodie area with Union Market and La Cosecha both close by. On my next visit I'd love to try other breads and pastries.
