My friend and I were looking for a family-friendly spot to eat with our three-year-olds and our puppy, and we were thrilled to find a restaurant with outdoor seating. I ordered the huevos rancheros and three breakfast tacos, both of which were fantastic--definitely a 10/10!What really stood out was the service. The waiter brought out water for our puppy without us even asking, which was such a thoughtful gesture. It's those small acts of kindness that make a big difference. The prices were fair, too.I'll definitely be returning and highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great meal in a welcoming atmosphere! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Service was exceptional during our recent visit. Had a great table near the open patio with a view of the ice skating rink. Chips and salsa were okay. They have a dark smoky salsa and I prefer a traditional salsa. Ordered one if the specialty drinks "Vampire Kiss" and it was good. The taco trio was pretty good but didn't really enjoy their version of the chicken chimichanga. Also found it odd that the choices for sides with the chimichanga was either fries or a Ceasars' salad. I would have preferred beans and rice.

The lunch mix and match tacos option allowed me to explore so much more of the menu I normally would! We got several: Suadero, Shrimp (Marinated Shrimp with Aioli Dressing and Coleslaw), Barbacoa, Cordero, Chapulines, Fish (Tempura Fried Mahi-Mahi with Avocado Ranch and Coleslaw), Nopales, Pulpo (Grilled Octopus with Pickled Onions and Cilantro) and Chicken tacos. We also got the Tres Leches for dessert and it was scrumptious. This was a carry-out order, but the restaurant is in a very large space, decorated well, and even offers outdoor seating. The food was ready at the stand with my name during my lunch visit. I didn't interact with staff (the floor was empty) so I left with my food after waiting about five minutes in the restaurant. Everything was packed well, but it was difficult to tell the tacos apart from each other. It was all delicious though!

Stopped by on a night out with friends after hearing the music from outside. This has become our new Friday night routine. They're open late, have great drinks, music, and friendly staff. If you're looking for a good mix of reggaeton, bachata, and salsa music, come visit after 11pm!

Food was not good at all. The chips were stale and the salsa had no flavor or spice. I got the enchiladas and the cheese was completely tasteless and had the texture of rubber. The same cheese was in the quesadilla and it was not good at all. Not stringy or gooey like normal cheese...I honestly thought it was Brie but had zero taste. I should add that the day we went (4/2/2024) they had no liquor license as "it has expired" and were not serving alcohol either. Food was pricey and gross. Go somewhere else. Tons of great places in the immediate vicinity.

I have thoroughly enjoyed happy hour here for more than a year. I come for a six dollar margarita, and have the benefit of a free basket of chips and a little side of salsa. Tonight I was charged for my free basket of chips and salsa. I was told that you can only have chips and salsa if you're also ordering food. That changes happy hour for me. While I enjoy this place - the food is just okay and the portions are small. While I think the people who run the place are lovely, I was looking for that balance of price and deal and taste and ambience - and charging for free chips and salsa just lost me. I will be enjoying more of my happy hour outings elsewhere. Sigh...

I popped into Plaza Oaxaca on a whim for lunch, and was promptly seated at the bar. They brought out a basket of chips and salsa, which I thought were both very good. The salsa isn't your typical red chunks of tomato stuff, but a well mixed, dark type. My main was the fajitas, which came out on an overly hot, sizzling plate. The chicken was laid over the typical fajita vegetables, with a pepper on top, and a separate plate with the beans, yellow rice, guacamole, all that. It was really good, though I will say that the tortillas that came with it were absolutely tiny -- the pieces of chicken didn't even fit on them. I'm also used to fajita tortillas being about 6" across, and these were 3-4", kind of standard for tacos. No big deal. The restaurant was taking advantage of the beautiful weather we had, and open to the rest of the square. It was very relaxing, with music that wasn't loud. I would definitely go back!

Cute interior, nice happy hour. I came here with a group and it wasn't busy inside the restaurant. Our server was ok, a little too slow and inattentive being that there weren't a lot of other customers inside. All of our food orders were enjoyed. I loved the HH pastor tacos and the tamale de rajas was spicy but good. We all had various cocktails, mostly margaritas and we enjoyed them all. There were a few orders of the platters and multiple tacos - no complaints and I would come back.

This place had such a slow service even though there was very little people in the restaurant. The food has absolutely no flavor. My chicken fajitas had no taste from the rice and beans to the chicken.

The only Mexican place I've ever been in with bland food. The prices were also insane. The appetizers were good, the queso dip and tacos. My order of chimichangas was ok but not hot. I asked if they could just warm it up, just in the microwave or something, but I don't think they understood. They ended up starting to remake the dish, but our waiter I think could tell we weren't feeling the food and offered to stop it and take it off the bill, which we agreed to. This was nice and I would have not gone down to 1 star had my date's very bland chicken enchiladas not given her FOOD POISONING. I wish I had read the reviews before coming here, ended up spending $50 to go eat somewhere else. Great location, wish this was at least a decent place to eat.
