Seafood Risotto: It is really their signature dish, almost every table orders it. The sauce is really delicious, the fried fish is very tender, and the clams and fries on top are also remarkable. I regret only ordering one serving.Octopus: This is also a specialty of theirs that was recommended by the waitress, and almost every table ordered it.There is only one relatively large octopus leg on a plate, so if you are a lady with a big appetite, or if you are in a group, it is recommended to order more. The side dishes include mashed potatoes and some corn kernels. Mashed potatoes, plus the sauce in the risotto, are also super delicious. Marinated fish: It is raw fish with a few shrimps, but very few. The three flavors are cream flavor, Japanese flavor and traditional flavor. I personally feel that the taste is sour, which may not be the taste that Chinese people like. However, if you order a cocktail, it is very suitable for drinking. It is recommended to eat it with the beans. It will have a unique taste.Drinks: This special drink contains purple corn. My friend thought it tasted a bit strange, but I personally liked it. It's a bit like sweet sparkling water. Their cocktails are also very famous. You can try some. Very happy to have celebrated a wedding anniversary our first time here. Lovely atmosphere with conversational sound levels and Spanish background music. The menu consist of Peruvian dishes with occasional Asian fusion dishes.Happy hour was drinks only at the tables 4-7pm. Happy hour foods are only available at the bar. There is a parking garage directly across from this restaurant making it very easy to arrive by car. $8 until 10pm.We really enjoyed the "Crocante de Camaron Roll" and the "Lomo Saltado" !We also enjoyed the flan with topped with pineapple and it was a nice size to share! We were brought the "Alfaroles" as an anniversary gift and they were delicious. If you're a Dulce de leche fan, you'll like these. We finished with a "cafe bonbon" which tasted like it was made with classic dark roasted espresso. Our server, Ana, was friendly and helpful when explaining the menu. The food came out fast and was hot and fresh. We'd love to return when back in DC.

This is our third visit here in 2 years and not sure if it was an off night but service and food were very meh. We had a res and were seated promptly. Our waitress seemed to be rushing us from the start. We ordered ceviche (good but not as good as in previous visits, skimpy with the choclo, onion and sweet potato. The fried yuca app was soggy and the Huacaina sauce was flavorless. We were looking forward to the lomo saltado one of our faves, but the flavors were off and the meat over cooked. The pisco sours and alfahores for dessert were good. Not sure if we'll be back or if we'll try a different Peruvian place next time. (Full disclosure I'm Peruvian - American so I make these dishes myself at home)

Whew! When I tell you it was a *struggle* to get a two top outside for a single diner on a Friday night... believe me. BUT once I sat, the magic happened. I see why this place is so popular and so well reviewed. My Friday night plans changed last minute, so I was left seeking a place that was 'DC' and full of delicious things to eat and drink. A quick check of de Jelps relative to my location and I found Pisco y Nazca. I called ahead, explained my seating preferences and party size. I knew I was up against a late Spring Friday night but was hoping that I was beating the dinner rush.I was not. Y'see, people were camped out on the patio so it didn't matter what time it was. Inside was just as packed. I arrived and the kind host saw the concern on my face. He promised to contact me as soon as he could and to my surprise he did. My two top was tucked out of the way but I didn't care. I was there to eat/drink, not to be seen.My server arrived and it was clear sailing after that. Flor showed up, asked if I had been there before, noticed I *needed* a drink, and directed me straight to the Where There's Smoke, a spicy mix of mezcal, peach schapps (I will not be judged!), lime juice, and pepper (like the vegetable). Sweet, spicy, a bit sour, and just the right amount of strength, I leaned back and took the drink in. I was ready to begin my feast.I started with the Leche de Tigre ceviche because of course. It was delicious: fish, shrimp, lime, pepper, calamari, and cancha corn nuts. I don't miss much about Miami but I do miss a good ceviche. I was pleased with the amount and how filling it was. Man can't live off ceviche alone so I knew I needed to dive into the Pescado a lo Mocho and pair it with a Peruvian Savignon Blanc. My dish was a feast of shrimp, crispy fish, mussels, and calamari bathed in amarillo sauce. I'd never had a Peruvian SB before and found that its crisp citrus and melon notes was an excellent combo with my meal. I was huffing and puffing by the end but fatty needed dessert. Flor said, 'I got you.' In return I was given the beauteous Buenazo brownie. This thing was a yuuge chocolate walnut brownie, topped with Kahlua mousse, chocolate crunchies, more walnuts, and a healthy (maybe unhealthy?) scoop of lucuma (think caramel but lighter... maple, maybe?) ice cream.I totally understood why the place is packed. 1.) The food and drink are excellent. 2.) The service makes you feel valued as a customer. 3.) You just might eat so much that you're incapable of movement. I don't typically rah-rah for chains but... Pisco Y Nazca did the d@mn thing. I'm a fan!

I was in the DC area to attend an event and thought this would be the perfect place to grab a bite. It had been some years since my last visit. My friend and I have always enjoyed our visits here.Reservation was made and at the time, I did not know happy hour was between 4pm to 7pm as we visited on a weekend. That was a plus.Per their site, it is called Hora Loco, and it occurs every day. You can get house wines, beer, and liquor for 1/2 off - can't beat that. After being seated, we checked out the menu and ordered some food and drinks. My friend had Ceviche and enjoyed it (I can't remember which one they ordered as they have several choices on the menu). I did get a chance to taste it (my first time trying ceviche in general) - my friend can have the rest of it. For drink, I got the Tranquilo Tropical, listed as having rum, passion fruit purée, mint, watermelon, and lime juice. I guess we were no longer in the watermelon season, as it was garnished with something else instead. It continues to be one of my favorite drinks here. You get it in a big glass with lots of ice, but it still tastes really good. For food, I ordered their Salmon Andino dish described as seared salmon, quinoa salad, avocado, anticuchera and garlic sauce. You get three big chunks of salmon with the sauce drizzled on one side and it is seated on top of the quinoa salad with some onions and tomatoes on the side. I like that they give you the option on how you want the salmon cooked. I got mine well done and it is a dish I would get again. I ate almost everything - probably leaving most of the onions behind since I'm not a big fan of onions in general. For dessert, my friend got the Suspiro, described as dulce de leche custard, meringue, and passion fruit glaze and I got the Carrot Cake, described as dulce de leche, cream cheese frosting, powdered sugar and walnuts. The taste of the Suspiro reminded us of Lucuma Ice Cream's similar taste - delicious and you want more of it. The Carrot Cake was good (moist), but the taste of the Suspiro did it for me. Service was on point, thanks to Gonzalo. It was a good visit.

My fiancé, dad, and I came here for a weekend lunch and had a great time. Our waiter was incredibly kind and fun to talk to. We shared the pisco sour flight and enjoyed that a lot. I really liked my ceviche sampler. My dad got the plancha anticuchera for us all to share per the waiter's recommendation. There was so much seafood for the three of us, we should've only ordered that. It was quite yummy. We also got some fried yuca which was delicious. We were seated at a corner booth which was nice for seating three. I loved the decor and vibe of the place. They had a really nice bar. It was a great place to meet up with my dad and grab lunch. I'd recommend checking it out.

I have had Pisco y Nazca bookmarked for quite a while and was looking forward to celebrating my cousin's birthday here. My high hopes and enthusiasm for this place quickly faded half way through the night. It is completely unacceptable that we were not greeted for 15-20 minutes and had to flag down a staff member for some water. Our waiter ignored us and waited on 2 other tables before ours even though we arrived way before they did. He redeemed himself with his service later on the night but we were off to a very rough patch. I also had an encounter with a female staff that was rude when I asked where the restroom was. I had to deduct a star for the service. Usually I am very easy to please and am very understanding as establishments can get busy but I felt like we were deliberately being ignored. Here is a rundown of what we ordered:1. Ceviche sampler- this was the highlight of our meal. It tasted fresh and bright and bursting with flavors. I find it odd that it doesn't come with chips though and you have to request it.2. Tostones Sampler- Also good... the pulled pork tostones was the group's favorite.3. Plancha pulpo- octopus was grilled to perfection... chewy but not too tough in texture.4. Tuna Tartare Tacos- was ok! I think it was decent but nothing note worthy.5. Bistec A Lo Pobre- this was also just ok. I don't think it was memorable quite frankly. I've had this entree at other Peruvian establishments that stood out to me more. All in all, good Peruvian food, lackluster service... I checked the box for coming here but don't think it was good enough for a return.

A dear friend treated me to lunch at Pisco y Nazca ceviche. I've heard so much about this place that the anticipation and build-up couldn't take any more. I was ready to dine sufficiently. We ordered Sangria and it was absolutely delicious-refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness. The casual dining atmosphere perfectly complemented the vibrant flavors of Peruvian cuisine that awaited us. We decided to order the prix fixe 3-course meal, and I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions for only $26.50 per person. The dining experience at this restaurant is fantastic! From the moment you walk in the door, the wait staff is very welcoming and meticulous in taking care of every detail. The ambience is elegant and cozy, with soft lighting and music that sets the mood just right. The quality of the food exceeded expectations, with fresh ingredients, exquisite presentation, and richness in each dish. The tostones were a delightful start, followed by the flavorful pulled pork bowl, and we finished on a sweet note with the creamy flan. I left feeling utterly satisfied and eager to return!
