Date night, drinks, Dumplings, DJ and dancing oh my!Pink Tiger is the new must-visit spot on the DC Wharf! With plenty of competition in the area, they've set themselves apart in all the right ways.First off, if you're in need of a quick protein fix, their meat skewers outside are a solid grab-and-go option. But trust me--step inside, and that's where the real magic happens! The drink menu is superb (good bye Dry January) , with not only beautifully crafted cocktails but also creative and healthy non-alcoholic alternatives (finally, a place that gets it!). Whether you're stopping by for drinks or a full meal, the vibe is unmatched. The upstairs space is great for larger groups, while the downstairs offers cozy yet stylish table and dining options. Now, let's talk about the food--because wow. Chef Joseph Castro has taken a simplified concept and elevated it with incredible creativity. Every dish is a work of art, both in presentation and flavor. Highly recommend the Wagyu Hot Rock (an interactive experience), the Ahi Tuna Nachos, the Dumplings, Thai Pumpkin Soup, and the Glazed Salmon. Every bite is layered with Asian-American flavors that are bold, balanced, and just plain delicious. And yes... working my way through the menu! And if you're looking for entertainment to match the incredible food and drinks? Come on in during the evenings, and you'll get high-quality X-Factor entertainment from Jeremy! It's the perfect touch to an already amazing experience. If you're looking for a spot that delivers on food, drinks, atmosphere, and entertainment--Pink Tiger is it. Bravo to Chef Castro and the great staff and owners, Brooke and Peter!#DCWharf #PinkTigerDC #FoodieApproved

I recently visited Pink Tiger for a birthday dinner, and unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. Our reservation was for 8 PM, and all our guests arrived between 7:30-8 PM. Upon entering, we were held outside in the cold (around 35 degrees) because the restaurant had reached capacity. I ended up having to argue with security just to get in, and unfortunately, the rest of the party had the same issue. This was frustrating and left a bad first impression. That said, once inside, the service was great, and the ambiance was really nice, especially with the live music playing. The staff was friendly, and the vibe of the venue itself was very pleasant. Now, the food was a major letdown. The deviled eggs were not to my liking at all -- there was what seemed to be wasabi mixed into the yolk batter, which just didn't sit right with me. The filet mignon was overcooked for my taste, and the salmon was decent but nothing special. The sides were also disappointing -- the vegetable medley felt like a haphazard selection. I also tasted one of my friend's Pad Thai, and it was extremely soggy. The rice served with the steak was also overcooked. The only thing I genuinely enjoyed was the garlic noodles pasta, which my friend loved. To top it off, the bathrooms were poorly maintained, which was a bit off-putting considering the otherwise stylish venue.Pink Tiger definitely has potential with its great ambiance and friendly service, but they really need to step up their food quality and overall guest experience. I hope they make some improvements in the future, but for now, it's hard to recommend with the current inconsistencies.

We live at The Wharf and were excited to try this. Unfortunately, the food was not great. We ordered garlic noodles with steak. The dish was pretty plain and lacked flavor. The steak did not seem to be high quality. The manager in his defense said that this noodle is designed to be simple. However, a dish can be simple but should also be tasty. For the pumpkin soup, the color was very dark without any garnish. The after taste of the soup was bitter and we did not finish. The service was really good and manager wrote off the noodles from our check based on our feedback. Our waiter was very considerate and nice. They were trying to integrate a bit American/Thai/Korean/Filipino. It is an interesting concept but it turned out to be a hodgepodge with no clear identity.

The vibes overall were good. The resturant is in a great location and has beautiful decor; there was live music from an excellent musician - with the option of requesting specific songs. Unfortunately the food fell flat for me - granted we went during restaurant week and so it was a more limited menu. But usually it's the restaurants highlight menu options, right? My husband and our friend ordered the broccoli and beef, but both thought it was really dry because it had no sauce. They asked for a ramekin with some sauce to pair with it which made it a little better. The garlic noodles which I ordered were okay, but definitely nothing that I couldn't have made myself at home or gotten store bought.Sorry to say it - but the food really really fell flat for all of us! The cocktails were just okay as well.

I wanted to provide an update to my review as they did reach out apologize and offer to cover my meal if I decided to return which is much appreciated. I don't plan to take them up on it as I don't expect or want anything for free, but I felt it was important to highlight that they did reach out. It's my understanding that they're under new management and/or ownership so I'm sure there are still some kinks to work out.

What a great night! My friend Dante and I are not from here and just walked around to find a spot. The chef in the front grilling some skewers got our attention initially and the food was incredible. Highly recommend the garlic noodles and shrimp and also the pumpkin soup was amazing. Bobby our server crushed it and gave excellent service. Leslie the manager was super kind as well. Definitely will come back!

We were really excited to try out this new restaurant on the Wharf, and made pre-show reservations before heading over to The Anthem. The menu looks fantastic, and we figured we couldn't go wrong. We went wrong. We ordered the Korean chicken wings, which were delivered to our table luke warm, and had a sauce which was colorful, but otherwise uninspired. We also ordered the steak skewers. They came to our table at room temperature, so we sent them back. The restaurant then brought us new skewers a bit later, and while tasty, they were nothing special. Last, we ordered the pad Thai with tofu. But for the peanuts and scallions, there was no flavor. The tofu had not even been marinated. The staff seemed to be working hard, but this was far from a well-oiled machine. They struggled mightily with their order processing software, and mentioned that the WiFi was having problems, which was why it was taking so long. I think everyone was doing their best, but it just wasn't clicking. All in all, DC has a lot of pretty solid restaurants. Save your time and money and don't visit this one.
