Pink Taco

yesterday was my quinceañera (cuatro veces :-) do the math) and pink and sugar skulls was kinda the theme of the party, and we went to the navy yards location(green line/ v4 is less than a block away). the food was great and the chocolate cake was so good, the wait staff especially Jasmine, Rocky (the manager), and Sunshine were the best, they catered to us and we had a good time and my sister ( who was a hour late) had the grilled shrimp tacos which she loved so much that she had to get a second order. I picked this restaurant because I love the atmosphere, the food(yes they have veggie options), and the music we will definitely be going back again soon,

This place is VERY hit or miss, and unfortunately it's usually a miss. I recently went and the chicken nachos were great, but the burger I received was unrecognizable compared to when I ordered it about a year ago. I was very confused and the flavor of everything in my entree; fries included was completely bland. The drink I ordered (something pink) was VERY sweet. Almost too much so?...On a weekend evening it was pretty empty...I think everyone's experience at this establishment is starting to spread around.

My son and I stopped here prior to the Nationals game (short 6-7 min walk from the park and right near our hotel). It was our favorite food we tried our whole trip! I was bummed to hear we just missed bottomless mimosa brunch so there's that for next time. The service was excellent, couldn't ask for better for a holiday weekend; the fajitas and sauces were to die for - very flavorful and standout from others I've tried. Staff very friendly, the decor and painting made a unique trendy atmosphere, super relaxing and not too bright. Prices reasonable for portions and quality. Highly recommend.

Food was AWESOME, drinks were AWESOME, even the service was AWESOME. Cannot recommend this place enough. Right off a metro stop, you can't miss it.

Pink Taco is very pretty restaurant. It's in the heart of Navy Yard and has parking next door. i went for a DMV Does group event and was pleased with the accommodations the reservation provided for space.I had a strawberry frozen margarita as well as a Mango margarita. Those were very delicious. The taco Tuesday happy hour is decent. There is Also a dj that comes on at 7pm to bring in the vibes. First, the bartender brought out the wrong tacos. Then, tried to charge me for the ones that were right !!!! ?? Now, the tacos were basic . especially , the pink taco was bland. I was expecting signature taste and was very disappointed. I'm not in a rush to go back .

I finally had a chance to come back, and I am so glad I did because my second experience could not have been more different than the first. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted happily.I was going to sit at the bar, but a server (Jasmine) asked if I wanted to be at a high top instead, so I decided to do that. She immediately brought me complimentary chips and salsa, which I didn't get the prior time (this may be because I was at the bar previously). She got my order very quickly. Shortly after Jasmine left to get my chips and salsa, the manager (Kevin) checked in to make sure that a server had already connected with me.I started with the mango con Chile and the quesadilla again. Both were delicious and, this time, I was brought the quesadilla toppings on the side. While I don't mind them being put directly on the quesadilla, I'm sure others may not like all of the toppings. My food came out quickly. I was trying to figure out what other non-hapoy hour drink I wanted, and she recommended the Cock Fight, which I'm so glad I went with because it was SO GOOD (and I'm not always a fan of tangerine/orange type citrus flavors). It was very refreshing- had a great balance of sweet and sour, in my opinion. Again, my wait was minimal for this, and she consistently checked in to make sure I was doing well. She (and the rest of the staff) was super friendly and attentive. Great energy all around. Plus, I loved the music the were playing (a varied but catchy mix).Overall, I am glad I gave Pink Taco another shot. I recommend it both to newcomers AND to those who previously came here and to those who maybe previously tried it and didnt hace the best experience. And, again, I really have to give a shoutout to Jasmine who really made my experience great this time around!

Pink Taco, what can I say? I became acquainted with Pink Taco in AZ and Century City in LA way back in the day. I'm not loving this one here in D.C. If I'm not mistaken this chain is also associated with other Tex Tex-Mex restaurants. For me, this isn't it, even with being a fan of the other locations. Something is different about the menu. Maybe the authenticity of the food is gone, who knows. Something is amiss. Service is top tier! Bar staff is always great and so are the servers. Food, it's giving a 7 of 10. I've been here a handful of times before ever writing a review in hopes my stance would change.The best thing for me here is the Druken Brownie! This girl loves her sweets!

I came one evening when it was super slow but the waiter was super attentive and the food came out quick! They were also playing a good mix of music that wasn't too loud so we could still talk. I got the barbacoa taco and it was delicious and a great portion for $20 in my opinion.

We had such a great time at Pink Taco! It was a lovely Saturday evening, and we had some delicious appetizers and drinks. I loved the Margarita flight, my friends loved the drumettes, and the Street Corn was amazing. The service at the bar was superb, and we had a fantastic time. We didn't try the Tacos this time, but maybe next time!

I went to check this place out. I sat at the bar for a quick bite a little after 2pm. Mind you it was not busy at all. I ordered a draft beer, three soft pork tacos and a side of guacamole and my bill was.......... $49.50. Was the food good? Yes, but ain't no way a 16oz. beer, a side of guac and three soft tacos should be $49.50. I had to look at the receipt to see if something was added on. I don't care who is doing the cooking, the location of the restaurant and if there is shortage of certain items. $49.50 is ridiculous. Plus the bartender barely said a word to me: "Is everything good?" "You need anything else?" "Would you like to close out?" is all that's needed to say. He took FOREVER to simply bus my area and give me my bill, and again, the bar was not busy.
