They have a new larger location inside the food hall! This must mean they're doing well and will stay a while which I'm happy about because they have now been offering one of my favorite dishes that I crave. The Bo-khirria roti tacos w/ broth are unlike anything I've had!The flaky raised crust they use to make the taco shell is the palette grabber, perfectly complemented by the beef and the broth. I only recently became the fan of Birria tacos and love them at a little place on U st. This is a fun elevation although I could eat them back to back!Ordering is smooth, about a 15 minute wait. I do recommend a different carrying container for the broth for carryout. If it tips over in the car you're done for, it's not completely sealed. So I would be afraid to order it from DoorDash or anything.

You should deff try their oxtail cheesesteak it's worth every penny. It was sooooo juicy and just soooo delicious . The staffs were very friendly. I would deff come back and try their roti taco!

It's been a minute since I ate from Phowheels, the last time was at their food truck. Their pho is good but I didn't get any this time. I was attracted to their seats haha, a rare commodity in Union Market, and so I ended up ordering their oxtail cheesesteak sandwich and it was as rich as it sounds. Very tasty but I couldn't finish it in one sitting. The small cup of broth serves with it helps and did that broth taste so good.

This is one of my favorite go to Pho spots. They ALWAYS hit! The flavor in the broth is so amazingly rich but light at the same time. The staff is usually super nice and informative if you have any questions or concerns about ingredients or allergies regarding the menu! They always have an abundance of utensils and condiments easily available and accessible. It's located in the middle of the market across from Lucky Buns so it's no seating for them specifically like some of the other spaces but there is extra seating in the market for everyone, no matter where you've gotten food from. Definitely going back and kind of becoming a regular! 10/10 already recommended to everyone I know!

This place was decent. I ordered the oxtail pho and the birria egg rolls. The egg rolls were the bomb. They came with a side of consommé and it was very flavorful. My pho and oxtails didn't really taste like much but you did get a pretty hefty serving of oxtails on the side.

Was really happy to see PhoWheels at Union Market as I've always been a fan since their first food truck. However, upon sitting down, I was so disappointed.I ordered the oxtail pho to-go. It was packaged fairly quick and I was on my way. When I sat down to eat, I immediately noticed the usual fixings were nowhere to be found. No bean sprouts, hot sauce, onions, Thai basil, scallions -- just noodles and a few jalapeño slices. The broth was fine, but I expected it to be more flavorful considering I ordered oxtail pho. The oxtail itself was tender enough -- a bit fatty.I was underwhelmed, and will not visit this location again.

Asian fusion spot inside Union Market with a nice range of options on the menu for a reasonable price. Also no line and a very short wait which is a definite plus here! The chicken thigh roti tacos were amazing - I just wish they'd mix up the pickled carrots and radish more because some bites were just layered pickled veg. I also ordered the Thai tea which wasn't bad but didn't really have that authentic Thai tea flavor. I'd definitely get the roti tacos again and try some of the other options but pass on the Thai tea, especially at $6.50/cup!

Union Market has made a great new addition.Phowheels have been in the game for over a decade and has finally started to expand. They have recently been on a crazy ox-tail kick creating creative items like Ox-tail roti tacos and Ox-tail pho. My personal favorite is the Ox-tail cheesesteak Banh Mi. That rich & fatty Ox-tail just goes so well with that French bread, cheese, and Pho dip.... pricy, but worth a try!I can't wait for them to bring back my favorite: the Shaky Beef Banh Mi :)

Place had great options to choose from so I chose the oxtail tacos, chicken bahn mi sandwich and the chicken tacos. The chicken for both sandwich and taco was a bit dry and bland for me the only thing that elevated it's taste was the sauces and fresh herbs that went along with it, so all in all underwhelming but I will say portion sizes are favorable. Oxtail also kind of bland but tender and was filling for just one taco.
