Pholuscious is a great spot for Vietnamese food with an extensive menu that offers a little something for everyone. Whether you're in the mood for pho, vermicelli bowls, or fresh summer rolls, there's no shortage of options to choose from. The pork vermicelli bowl was flavorful, with tender grilled pork, fresh herbs, and a nice balance of textures. The pho was solid, with a rich broth and generous portions of meat. The lemongrass pork was well-seasoned and had a great smoky char, pairing perfectly with rice. The summer rolls were fresh and came with a tasty peanut dipping sauce. For drinks, the Thai iced tea was sweet and refreshing, while the Vietnamese coffee was bold and strong--perfect if you need a caffeine boost.Portions are good for the price, making it a great value for the quality and variety offered. The only downside is parking--it can get really packed, especially during peak hours, so be prepared to wait or come at an off-peak time. Overall, if you're craving Vietnamese food with plenty of choices, Pholuscious is worth checking out!

Everything was well prepared and my two daughters and I shared: pho with beef, chicken wings, beef with vegetables. Highly recommended. That was a late lunch with no food left over!I've eaten there over twenty times and enjoy going back 20 more times!

There is one thing that this pho place is known for... and hold onto your britches... it's not the pho. In fact, it's not even a Viet dish. Pholuscious' Hainanese chicken is both interesting, unique, and very delicious. They do a take on this Southern Chinese dish that has a lot of people talking. Have you ever had Hainanese Chicken? It's a poached chicken that is served with a flavorful rice, dipping broth, and punchy sauces. I've been to Pholuscious maybe 4-5 times now and each time this is what I get. Sometimes other things, and those other things are delicious, (the quail appetizer is legit), but I always get the Hainanese Chicken. The last time I ordered 2 Hainanese Chickens over the phone for pick up and the lady called me back who took my order, and told me they actually only had one portion left. I still went and got it. It was a sad day, me and my friend had to split one dish, but look, I survived and I'm able to talk about it today. Barely, though.

Sadly, by far, the worst pho I've had. I was at Trader Joe's across the way, famished and saw this place. Because I'd been craving pho, I thought it was faith to see this restaurant as I'm exiting the store. The staff were very friendly upon my arrival. I ordered their spicy chicken noodle soup and there was absolutely nothing spicy about this soup. It tasted watery and lacked any real flavor. I was highly disappointed. I also ordered the lemongrass chicken in the rare event that the soup was not good, that was also tasteless and a waste of carbs. Needless to say, I won't be back.

On a cold, rainy afternoon, we decided to warm ourselves with a warm bowl of pho. But, the story here is not just the pho, but some of the other delicious dishes we tried. For appetizers, we started off with spring rolls. They were freshly made and had a large portion of shrimp. The peanut dipping sauce, has siracha already added to it. But, our wonderful waiter brought me some sauce, without the siracha. It was rich and creamy. Then, we had a quail appetizer. It was roasted quail in a tasty sauce. The quail was cooked perfectly, fall off the bone, and so good, you want to savor the experience. Next, we both had pho. A rich, hearty broth filled with shrimp in my case and tender beef in my dining partners. It was huge and there was plenty to take home. We also ordered Hunan Chicken. I loved the rice. I have no idea how they cooked it or what spices the put in it, but it was wonderful. The chicken itself was moist and tender. It was served with two dipping sauce. It was my dining partner's favorite dish. But, for me, it had a tad bit too much ginger. But, if you like ginger, this dish is a must order. It got excellent comments in reviews we read. Service was excellent. Our meals came out in perfect timing. Our water cups were always full. Our waiter was nice and accommodating. It is a lovely quaint designed restaurant with plenty of seating. It was my first time there, but certainly won't be my last. As Arnold Schwarzenegger said in the Terminator, " I'll be back!"

Great Vietnamese food at reasonable prices. Be sure to try their offerings besides pho. I love their pork vermicelli; light, full of veggies, porky, and delicious. Also, try their Bun bo Hue. A Vietnamese friend told me they have the most authentic version in the area. Most of my orders are takeout, so I'm not the best to judge their service and ambiance. However, the lady behind the counter is always friendly when I go to pick up food.

While shopping at the nearby Trader Joe's, I would often notice Pholicious. As a lover of Pho, my interest was always piqued. I finally had the opportunity to try out the restaurant and I liked it. The pho was hot and flavorful. Even though the restaurant was relatively full (it was Father's Day), I was seated quickly, ordered in a decent amount of time and received my pho very quickly. The staff was super attentive and was always standing by waiting to refill my water glass. All in all, I have no complaints about the restaurant.

Our family has been coming here for over eight years. In all of that time only once did they not get it right but the rest have been absolutely flawless. In a world where everything is getting just a little bit crappier, this place has kept standards and experience high consistently. If you're in the mood for authentic Vietnamese flavors, Pholicious in Rockville is a great spot to check out. The restaurant is cozy, the staff is friendly, and you can tell they really care about the food they serve. The pho is the star of the menu. The broth is rich and flavorful, perfectly balanced, and loaded with fresh ingredients. Whether you go for the beef, chicken, or tofu, you won't be disappointed. It's comfort food at its best! I also tried their spring rolls and banh mi --both were fresh, delicious, and just what you'd hope for from a Vietnamese spot. The banh mi, especially, had that perfect combination of crispy bread and savory fillings. And if you like bubble tea, their options are solid! The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the food comes out quickly without feeling rushed. It's the kind of place where you can grab a casual lunch or a relaxed dinner with family or friends. If you're looking for a warm, welcoming spot with great food, Pholicious is worth a visit. It's nothing over-the-top fancy, but that's what makes it feel so authentic. Definitely coming back!

I love pho so much, I would eat this on a hot summer day! A good pho place is hard to find!.However, this place satisfies my palate. Friendly service from the get-go. Nice, cozy interior. I always get #2 with a peach ice tea. Not many places can make a good broth. Most salt it down, not good, but this place has the tastiest broth, no matter what proteins you get.I strongly recommend eating in because it tastes different when you get carry out.Service can be slow. Then again it's one guy running the show. The garnishes are a little skimpy. I love tons of scallions, Thai Basil and limes. Other places Like Pho House are very generous with that. The peach tea, expensive for what you get. Not that sweet or flavorful. They added too much noodles and not so much meat. Which is why I gave them 4 stars
