Formerly in the space occupied by Hai Duong, Pho #1 is a spacious and unassuming family-run restaurant in a strip mall filled with other ethnic cuisines. Generous portions of fragrant pho are offered with a wide variety of meat (beef or chicken) and fish selections. Oddly enough, they only come in two sizes - small and large, and the large is only $1.00 more, so ordering the right size should be a no-brainer! :-DThey're also one of the rare Vietnamese restaurants that offers the wide udon-like rice noodles (banh canh) that are hard to find among the usual menu offerings, along with other non-standard options like pork hocks, pig's hearts, and pig tongues. Their standard shaking beef with fried rice was outstanding - as were the shrimp garden rolls and crispy spring rolls. We wanted to try one of their clay pot dishes but decided to save them for our next visit.Service was fast and efficient, but then again, there were only a few tables filled early on a Saturday evening!

Stop by here for dinner and lunch. The decor is dated and typical of the restaurants in the area. Always get the house pho, which is pretty reasonably priced. Service is relatively prompt, depends on the server's mood or what else they have going on.

Was feeling a little under the weather, so I had to get some pho. Wanted to try a new spot and found this pho spot near me. The portions were pretty generous. While I thought the meat quality could have been a bit better, the soup was good and on point. While not the best in the area, definitely a solid spot.

Totally unassuming and un"pho"gettable! A small shop inside a strip mall is a restaurant that seems like you are eating inside a large living room with a chandelier and crown molding. I'm assuming who was the owner was quite pleasant; he noticed my mom spoke Cantonese and he instantly switched to speaking Cantonese to us and asked if she wanted hot water instead of the ice water that was offered. My mom commented on his excellent manners! We later asked how many languages and dialects he spoke and it was impressively over a handful.Now, the food. My mom ordered the Bun Bu Hue and I had the lunch beef pho special (with tripe, fatty beef and tendon), spring roll and a Coke (canned). The spring roll was freshly fried and surprisingly tasty! My mom actually complained she had too much meat in her bowl! How's that for a complaint? Garnishments of basil, jalapeno and bean sprouts came with mine. Hers came with lettuce, sprouts, jalapeno and banana flowers (I noticed culantro leaves were missing, but that's super minor!). Chock full of flavor, noodles and meat! I was so full halfway done, but I continued on. The broth was still hot halfway through my meal. It was absolutely delicious!You are directed to pay at the counter, easily with a swipe and automatic tips to choose from making it easy peasy. Will I come back? You betcha!

We usually go here it's not that good anymore .. and now tried take out and giving it a chance and its still disappointing the bucha hanoi dish was dry and the nuoc mam sauce it's not the same it's more sour and less fish sauce I think more vinegar taste .. the pho my mom got had chopped up meat like it's left over dry and tough .. really disappointed

The food was hot and hearty. The service was top notch and the waiter explained anything we inquired about. He was nice and polite. The atmosphere is quite nice with music in the background and the chandelier in the ceiling.

Very straightforward, got our orders in record time. Service was standard and no-frills. Pho was above average and overall pleasant! I liked the tai (beef steak), but felt like the nam (flank) could have been more juicy.

This is located in Brookfield Plaza. Small quaint size dining room. I ordered the shrimp pho soup and hot tea. The service is quick and efficient. Food is very good. I took away a point for the condiment station. It needed to be wiped clean.
