Sometimes a 3.5-rating can mean excellent food, but horrible service. Other times, it can mean just average food and average service. We came here for dinner and my experience was more the latter. The location screams hole-in-the-wall. The menus were wrapped in plastic and were wrinkly/beat-up. It was unappealing... I would recommend refreshing their menus or offering a QR code to scan (but I'm not even sure they have a website). I ordered the pho tai bo vien (pho with eye of round beef and meatballs). The wait was inexcusably slow. They weren't busy and it wasn't peak dinner time. Even just bringing the waters took a while. There was no communication about the delays; they simply ignored us until we finally inquired on the wait - we were then told the food would be out shortly. The food finally came and they provided the additional garnishes- bean sprouts, basil, cilantro, limes, etc. Condiments were already on the table. For the wait, the food was nothing to write home about. No complaints about the proteins, but the flavor of the broth was lackluster. I've had better phos and better service in the DMV, so unfortunately, Pho Chi is a one-and-done type of place for me.

You would surely miss this place if you weren't looking for a pho place or this place specifically; it's next to the big fire station and to the side of the gas station. No frills family-owned pho. They got a very basic menu but you'll find pho and some staple viet rice dishes. Add some beer and wine to your purchase, if you fancy. We ordered cha gio and two pho's (one for me and one for my kiddos). The pho broth came out piping hot (thank you) and the meats were tender; I wish they would've put more meat than what me and the kiddos got. Their pho is one-size only.Place was a bit dark but clean. The son was very friendly and saw that my kiddos had accidentally dropped their utensils and didn't get mad/annoyed, but rather smiled and quickly brought out another one.

A friend and I were looking for a new Pho spot and stumbled upon Pho Chi as we were driving around. A nice warm bowl of Pho on a cold day always hits the spot. The Food: Went with a bowl of Pho Tai for this visit. Wanted a large, but they only have one size. The Pho was good, just an average bowl though. Nothing noteworthy that stuck out in terms of flavor and quality. The broth was good, the meat quality was good as well. I will say, the amount of noodles I had for the one size bowl was not enough. I could clearly see the empty space in my bowl of soup. Otherwise, a decent bowl. The Service: Service was good. Staff are friendly. Food was brought out in a timely manner. The Atmosphere: Small hole in the wall Pho restaurant. Decent amount of tables to sit at, but the space did feel a little cramped.Overall, a 3/5. Just an average Pho spot, but will get the job done if you're craving some Pho.

Grilled lemongrass beef rice - 7/10Grilled lemongrass pork vermicelli - 7/10Banh mi - 7/10Pho - 4/10Iced coffee - 6/10Summer rolls - 7/10The grilled meat with rice/vermicelli were yummy. But the pho was not too good. Summer rolls were good, just as expected. Banh mi was also good and as expected. The restaurant itself is very small and is in due for an update. This restaurant has a lot of potential. They also sell liquor in the back. Would we go again? Probably not.

This is the place if you're craving pho but it's after 9 pm and all the other restaurants are closed. Grilled meats, fried rice, and rolls (rice and spring) are standard comfort food options but the pho leaves a bit to be desired. For starters, there's only one size, which is a medium at other restaurants. Second, although two of ordered pho, we were only given a single-serving sized bean sprout and mint leaf plate. Third, the servings of meat seemed smaller than those at other pho restaurants. Finally, there's no tripe of any type on the menu. But it's comfort food from a comfortable, reliable vendor and the constant stream of late night pickup orders is probably a testament to that.

Family owned pho restaurant, authentic Vietnamese pho. The Kobe beef pho is amazing, my go to every time I come here. It is only the mom and dad working so you do have to be patient and wait a little but it's well worth the wait. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

I do love the food here and the owners are very friendly. I recommend it. One of my favorite Pho places in the area. It's just different enough from the average to make it worth a stop. Slightly different flavor and presentation. All the food I have had here is very good. This is in an out of the way run down strip mall and failed beer store. They still have coolers full of beer, and some cheap wine, but I never see anybody buy it. Maybe it's a local stop for cheap 6 packs. Anyway, don't let that distract you. The places with the cheap rent usually have the best food.$19 for Pho and an iced coffee. Prices are increasing for Pho everywhere, though. Their bowls are smaller than most places, though, and they only offer the one size. ($12.95 for Pho Tai, $5 for iced coffee, + tax ... in fairness, this is becoming the norm.). I still like it.

I really want to love this place,But for how many times I've tried it and give it a chance the pho is mid compared to the other pho restaurants in the area. The only saving grace is the fact that it's open late, but beyond that speaking strictly on their pho recipe it could use a lot of improvements .No matter how much spice and topping I add it's still very bland. And their menu options for meats it's very limited for the price I really want to see in improvements to support local family businesses but until then I may not return
