Been coming here since 2008 and so far they've never failed me. I LOVE the Saigonese steak (shaking beef)! Their pho is tasty and hits the spot when I was recovering from the flu. Their banh mi prices have gone up over the years. I remember they started at $4, now they're nearly $7. I have only had the grilled chicken banh mi and can attest that it's delicious, not sure about the other proteins. When I've dined in their server is always attentive and kind. Restaurant is clean and pleasant. This place is a Wheaton gem!

Food was very good. The imperial roll was crispy and tasty. The crepe was crunchy filled with chicken, shrimp and bean sprouts. I liked the texture. The caramelized fish was cooked well. However, the portion was very small. It didn't even fill half of the pot it was served in.The grilled pork ban mi was the best. Freshly made French bread and the pork was delicious. We ordered double meat. They charged us $4 more, which is more than half the price of the regular price. The staff was cordial. Self-service for water, and you have to go to the counter to pay. Finally, if you use a credit card, there is a 3% extra charge. The ambiance is casual. The counter area has a new look that brightens up the place.

No sugar cane drink sold here. But the menu is more authentic than many other Vietnamese places I've been to. Meat wrapped in grape leaves, bo la, for example. Sandwiches are popular here as well as their imperial rolls but I wouldn't skip other items as well. Clean and spacious place, plenty of seating. Friendly and helpful service. Imperial roll 5/5Bo la 5/5Grilled pork bang mi 3/5 - not enough filling and too much butter. Bread was just okay.

First and last time here. The food is decent but they charged me $.65 to use my credit card and they charged me $.50 because I ordered carryout. I do not like being nickeled and dimed. Especially when there's no disclosure or the disclosure is hidden. The surcharges were not on their menu and not on their website. Sneaky, sneaky.

I stopped by Pho & Banh Mi Saigonese because my other lunch plans fell through. For my dining pleasure, I had the Fried Imperial Rolls and Tái*, Nạm, Gầu, Gân, Sách pho. While the food wasn't bad, it wasn't great. I thought the fried rolls were a bit too greasy and the pork was really gummy. The pho was a bit better, but it just didn't hit the spot. Unfortunately, I cannot put my finger on it, but there was a certain essence that was lacking in the pho. Also, I thought the pho could have had a bit more noodles. While this spot was not bad, I probably would not go out of my way because there are a couple of other better pho spots in the area. Random (slight) annoyance. One thing that gets under my skin is places that give you only ONE napkin. C'mon, I'm eating a large bowl of soup. Could I have at least three napkins? After requesting more napkins, the guy at the counter gave me ONE extra napkin. Hey, I guess one extra napkin is better than none.

Food is very good. Service was a little slow but the server was very friendly. We had Pork Bun Vermicelli bowl and a banh mi. Both very good. The eggrolls were crisp and fresh. Nice local spot in Wheaton.

Excellent friendly service, very accommodating to late arriving guests near closing time...they kept kitchen open for our togo order past 8pm...Clean spacious restaurant with good ambiance...hence I gave 1 additional star...pho was good especially on raining Wednesday night...fried rice (no wok flavor, kinda bland)...bbh (no lemon grass taste at all, used sliced meat from pho no other ingredients that real bbh should have)...caramelized fish (just taste soy sauce)...banh mi was skimpy on the meat...Just come here for pho, don't come hungry because the large is a small at other places...

This has been my go-to for Vietnamese crepe or banh xeo! I first discovered this place on Grubhub I think when just browsing on things to order. When I saw this place has my favorite Vietnamese dish that I don't typically see anywhere in the area, I had to order it. It was nice and so crispy. I've lost count on how many times I've ordered this dish. They also serve pho and banh mi which I haven't tried but if they're as good as the crepe, I'm all in. The dish was too good that I forgot to take a pic. Next time I order it again, I will update the review with a photo!

Pho was so skimpy.Probably the most skimpy I've ever seen in Maryland. The Banh Mi was okay. Nice flavor with the Viet mayo, but the bread could be more firm. I'm Vietnamese so I want a nice snap to my banh mi bread. If they load up their pho with more meat and improved their source for French bread then this place has potential to improve.

I came here last night with my Father. I ordered something that came with steamed shrimp and white rice for $13.95. For $13.95 the portion was small. the food was warm at best and the seasoning on top was not good. The only thing good was the waiter. It was my first time and it will be my last. My father does not like to write reviews so he just posted that the food was cold, but he ordered Lime Beef with White rice I think for 12.95 and also though the food was over priced for the small portion. Whle we were eating he told me some of the pieces of Beef were over cooked as well. He also will not be coming back.
