Popped into Pho 88 in Chinatown after a museum outing with my sister! This spot is in a row house style building - a little steep on the steps, but very spacious inside. This is a solid spot with great quality pho. I got the Pho Tai - flank steak with fresh toppings. The broth was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The service was extremely fast with the staff taking our order as soon as we walked into the restaurant. Very accommodating!Great spot if you are craving pho!

Pho 88 Noodles and Grill is right in Washington D.C's Chinatown! Their Chinatown is one of the smaller ones I've been to and Chinese food isn't that great. We decided to try Pho 88, in hopes that their Vietnamese food is better? Their prices are ridiculous; even in 2015 I remember a bowl was $15, when normally at the time, you could get a large bowl of it go at most places for ~$8.95. Their bowls are also not that big, so if you're looking for a spot where you won't have to spend $20 for a bowl, this is not the place. Taste-wise, it is okay. Options for food in this area is more limited, a bit better nowadays but still...Parking: incredibly difficult to find parking in this area. Better off finding a garage to park at.

I ordered through Uber Eats.I ordered green papaya with chicken and pork. I just got the plain papaya salad. Which, my friends is not worth what I paid for.The lemon grass tofu was deplorably pathetic. And the fresh spring roll was just rather sad.All in all...quite an abysmal show for this joint. Really wouldn't recommend you throwing coin this way.

Loved our experience here. The food was absolutely amazing definitely a little hole in the wall feeling. We loved the pho we had and I got the baos which was really yummy. The egg rolls were good too. Not pictured was these egg tarts and coconut dumplings we got for dessert which was so good. It was warm and fresh. The lady that served us was super sweet

I've eaten here twice and both times I loved my food. I always go in and order to take out. I typically get the brisket pho which is on average about $18 a bowl which seems to be standard. Whenever I go in, service is normal and quick. I usually have my food in 10-15 mins. The mixed reviews scare me but I will be back for more as long as my experience continues to be good.

Ordered takeout for yesterday evening since it was cold and rainy, and the food was delivered quick! The pho tai is a smaller serving for the price but overall the broth had a clean and rich taste. Also got the combination bun thit nuong tasted really good, but wish there was slightly a little bit more of the fish sauce since there was a lot of noodles in this dish! Lastly, the beef stew aka Bo kho was really delicious-- beware it is on the spicier side but totally worth it if you can handle it. Overall would order from here again for takeout!

Came in on a Sunday afternoon and got seated pretty fast. Ordered the crystal shrimp dumplings, fresh spring roll, a chicken rice plate, pho, and pork vermicelli. Overall it wasn't too bad. The dumplings tasted like they were just microwaved and not steamed. The pork in the roll and the chicken was dry. Besides that the rest of the food was good and filling. The food came out fairly fast and they are good portions. It's a nice homey feel and service is good.

African Americans beware this place is the worst. I was over looked, ignored it lady act like I wasn't there. Right after I sat down two white gentlemen came in and she walked up to them and asked what they would like to drink. She still had not said a word to me. So I took my money somewhere else.
