I came in after seeing the fancy croissant they make. Warning: the fancy croissant are only availed Wednesday-Sunday. They also only have a limited quantity, so the earlier you get there the better. They are $12 each, but worth it.I chose the chocolate croissant. This thing was packed with light and creamy filling! They didn't skimp on that, which is appreciated. The dough was light and flaky. The inside is decorated nicely and very well kept. The service was fast and friendly.

The NYCroissants are as delicious as they are beautiful. I loved the pistachio but the chocolate might have been my favorite. They have a limited quantity so be sure to get there early. Check their socials for what days they're available (Wed-Fri?). Gotta try the crookie, too!I'll have to come back to try their brunch and dinner service. It's such a cute spot!

Omg. Just omg. So I've been at the Convention Center for a conference all week and think I've eaten something like 7 croissants from basically every bakery around here. Petit Cerise takes the cake (figuratively, as it's a croissant!). I was planning on the pistachio one that shows up in so many photos, but they also had a chocolate cherry croissant and I was like, "ok. That sounds good." Friends, good does not cover it. It was life changing. Imagine a perfectly crispy croissant with loads of chocolate cream (almost pudding consistency) with real cherries throughout. Amazing. So. Very. Amazing. Why am I sitting in this talk when I could be eating another croissant?

The portions were definitely not Petite at this cute brunch spot! I saw this place on Instagram and was a bit worried it was all looks and no substance, but things go viral for a reason. The only knock I'd give is that it is a bit pricier than other French style restaurants in the area.We stopped in on a weekend and were able to get a table straight away. They have indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor being tucked on the side street that was less busy. I had originally found this place due to their circular croissants, which were unfortunately sold out. I got the almond croissant instead which was flaky and had a ton of marzipan filling. I also had an omlete which had a beautiful sheen to it and the taste to match. Overall, I would recommend giving the pastries a try and if you have time a bit of coffee as well!

What a fabulous feast we had at Petite Cerise! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth by Nailah, the hostess, and then swept off our feet by our incredibly knowledgeable server, Lili. She made us feel like culinary adventurers as we embarked on a family-style dining experience with the Chef's Four Course Prix Fixe menu. Trusting Lili was the best decision we made, and we were rewarded with a mouthwatering journey of flavors!Cocktails that Set the Mood:We kicked things off with some delightful cocktails that truly set the tone for the evening. The Little Cherry Sour was a bourbon lover's dream, while the Poirot was a mysterious mezcal concoction that was smoked and left us wanting more.Amuse Bouche and More: Our taste buds tingled as we started with Amuse Bouche and house-made bread. The Aged Comté Cracker paired beautifully with spiced kuri squash and chèvre, while the Salmon Rillettes had us swooning over every buttery bite. And let's not forget those Crispy Fried Panisses with spicy tarragon yogurt.Shareables to Remember: Each shareable dish was a work of art. The Escargot was a delightful surprise with its dill chermoula and black garlic, and the Foie Gras Tartine was a luxurious treat with its concord grapes and spiced pistachio. The Parisian Gnocchi and Pork Paillard were equally impressive, showcasing local ingredients and exquisite flavors. Main Courses: Then came the main courses-oh, my taste buds! The Red Snapper en Croute was nothing short of perfection, and I dare say it was the best red snapper l've ever had. The Poulet Farcie was a flavor explosion with its combination of black trumpet mushrooms and pear. Desserts:And just when we thought the meal couldn't get any better, dessert arrived! I've always believed in eating dessert first, and the banana spice cake with its sorghum glaze was a slice of heaven. The chocolate and salted caramel cake was rich and indulgent, while the chocolate mousse with salted caramel fudge and caramel ice cream was a decadent ending to our meal.A Toast to Great Eats! We couldn't resist indulging in the dessert wine. Vin de Dessert, which perfectly complemented our sweet finale.I can't wait to make another reservation. Cheers to good eats and unforgettable experiences!

This restaurant is so cute and adorable! The ambiance feels like you're in Paris. It's very clean, spacious, and the pastries are all on display. However, my waiter was absolute terrible! I had to ask him to come to the table to take our order, he barely checked on us, and we had to ask other waiters for additional plates and silverware. The food was okay. I got the quiche. The crust was very flaky but a little hard. The food wasn't that hot either. The cookie croissant was delicious but it wouldn't been times better if it was warmed. Our waiter didn't even ask us if we wanted it warmed or not. The hot tea was also lukewarm.

I am so sad I found this place on our last day in town. We were looking for local coffee on Black Friday and all the other local places were closed. Thank GOODNESS Petite Cerise was open because it blew my expectations. When we walked in, there was a mountain of pastries and croissants. They had a selection of different coffees as well. I had a vanilla latte and a Pain au chocolat. My father had drip coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Everything was fresh and delicious! The bottom dining area was so cute and it really transported you to a different era. If I am back in the DC area, I am coming back!

Great spot for coffee and pastries. They have the viral supreme croissants if you've got a hankering for those. However, their croissants did not have the crunch I was looking for, although the flavor was pretty nice. All positive notes for the coffee though; would get again. Service was on point, and the restaurant is decorated perfectly -- definitely enjoyed the environment. Would love to go back for dinner or a full brunch!
