Cute little spot to grab their house made bagels. However, the prices are ridiculous but I guess that you pay for the quality. - Good staff service- I recommend ordering ahead, especially if in the morning. Limited sandwich options so my go-to is normally a bagel with cream cheese and jelly. Overall, they have my New York approval for good bagels in the area.

A landmark of a changing neighborhood, this bagel place is near the convention center and is worth looking at for anyone at a conference. I found the line manageable on a weekend, and the smell of the bagels once they got to my car left a good impression. The browned edges and hint of sourness spoke of quality, as did the brick oven actively running in the back of the shop. It's a small place and while you could eat in I wouldn't count on getting a seat.I was a bit puzzled at having ordered six bagels and them not getting my order correct. They got one of the flavors wrong, and with me having asked for them not sliced, I ended up with a sliced one that I assume was meant for a sandwich and was abandoned for some reason. There's no harm done; the bagels are good regardless. Just not ideal service. The menu of sandwiches and such didn't suit me, but they did have customization available and some vegetarian toppings for anyone wanting a fresh bagel sandwich.

Worth the top bagel rating IMO! We came on daylight savings Sunday just before 9am and beat the long line. The tables were full but by the time we ordered and got our food we snagged one. Parking out front was easy. The menu has a perfect variety without being overwhelming. The bagels had a perfect balance of being soft but chewy. The cream cheese tasted fresh and we liked the variety of options. As far as the sandwiches go, I'd refer the salmon and pharmacist again! The bacon was to die for.

Meh. 8:30 on a Sunday morning, I thought the bagels would be fresher. They seemed like they had been sitting around a while. The price of the coffee was overpriced. The decor is nice though.

I'm a bagel expert, having fine tuned my bagel eating expertise in the Mecca of bagels, NYC. As a long time eater, I was excited to try this hidden gem on 7th st. I recommend ordering ahead because the line was out of the door!! I thought that was a good sign so I was really surprised to find the bagels were mediocre at best. We had the Green Monster which was really under seasoned and had a lot of mayo. Also had the lox and it was unremarkable. I thought this may have been a fluke so we came back for another round, this time trying the frenchie (sub turkey!) and it was better but still underseasoned. The inside is really cute, there's some seating but like I said it's cracking in there so I always get it to go. The service is great, all the staff have been kind!

A "must stop" when we are in DC before we make the treck back to CT. I am not sure how we found this spot (although I am sure it is through Yelp) but we have never been disappointed when ever we have grabbed a bagel sandwich "to go". I always get the Bee's Knees on an Everything (Double Toasted) and am never disappointed! It's busy on the weekends so you might have to wait and we have had more than our fair share of "car bagels" but on our most recent visit we actually were able to make our way in and found a seat! What a treat. We are always sure to grab some day old bagels to bring back home with us. It's not enough to last until our next trip but they freeze well and are always a reminder of our last trip when we pop them in the toaster.

It's unfortunate that you can't sort someone's reviews on Yelp by food type, because if you could, you would see that I am an unapologetic New York bagel snob. I was hunting for a good bagel spot in the neighborhood where we are staying, but I had already hit most of them and wanted to try something new, so we ended up here. When we arrived, the line was out the door at 11 AM on a Friday morning, which seemed like a good sign. The fact that this place had been named as the best spot in DC for bagels by the Washington Post the day before may have contributed to this. The space was relatively small, but there was a good amount of seating inside and outside. The folks working the counter were friendly and patient, despite the big crowd. The menu offered a wide range of sandwiches to choose from or you could build your own. My wife went for a turkey sandwich on a bagel, but I stuck with the classic cream cheese and lox so that I had a good comparison to other places. I can say without hesitation that this place had some of the best bagels I've ever had! Warm and fresh with the perfect amount of chewiness. I can see why the Post gave them such high praise!

I came to Pearl's for the first time a few months ago, and now I would consider myself a regular. Absolutely love the Pharmacy Special sandwich (bacon, tomato, scallion and chive cream cheese) on an everything bagel. Also tried and loved the sunny side.

This place is packed but for good reason! The efficiency of the staff keeps the line moving quickly though so the wait isn't too terrible. It's a small and well-decorated space; the attention to detail in the decor kept me entertained while waiting to order. My partner got a BEC on an everything bagel toasted and I got the El Pollito on a sesame bagel toasted. We also got a hot chai and latte with oat milk. The latte was very average but the chai was so delicious and cozy! The bagel was a bit dense and not very chewy, so I wasn't the biggest fan. I just prefer chewier bagels though. The BEC was fine, but the bacon was definitely the star of the show. The El Pollito was quite delicious but messy to eat. I found the hot sauce to overshadow the other flavors. If I was in the area again, I'd definitely stop by to try other menu items.

Cute bagel shop. Stopped in this morning for a quick bagel sandwich. I didn't want a big breakfast just something fast yet yummy. I picked the best spot. Walked from my hotel which is by the Convention Center. I asked for the most popular sandwich. The friendly young lady at the register named three top favorites: the egg n cheese, the green monster and the Sandra D. I opted for something I wouldn't normally try, the Sandra D. It' has Nana's Hot Jalapeno Cream Cheese, Epic Curing bacon, tomato, cucumbers, Little Wild Things microgreensAnd Mike's Hot Honey. Really flavorful. I wish I tried this place earlier during my stay in the area because I would have tried every single bagel on the menu. There was a steady line of people coming in and all the seats were filled with people trying the food. Super cute decor. Great friendly service with a smile.Recommend you try!
