Park Place Gourmet

Truly a hidden gem as it's tucked away near the St James Gym and the surrounding business parks. Park Place Gourmet is a Korean Owned Deli that features many sandwiches, soups, salads, along side with a small section for chips/bottled drinks. It's a great place if you want something quick to eat and this place doesn't disappoint.Since the location for the area is limited, I don't recommend going here to sit down as many people like to take their food to go. The food comes out quick luckily and it's made in house too. The staff is also friendly and it shows that they will recognize you if you are a regular. I got their cheesesteak with fries. They have this as a daily combo that you can also get a 20oz drink too. I think it was around $15 for what I paid for but it's worth it as everything is made fresh.Will I be coming back? I think this place needs a lot of love as they have been around for almost as I have been alive. It's a wonderful place to get food for an affordable price!

The place seems to have been recently renovated, and we were surprised at our clean, bright, and spacious it was!We came here for a late lunch, and we ordered:+a Philadelphia Steak & Cheese - provolone cheese-melted over thinly sliced beef, onions, and mayo on a baguette - you can also ask for hot peppers, lettuce, and tomatoes; filled to the max with generous amounts of beef; this was super juicy and the bread was fluffy; this seemed to be the most popular choice to order of all the patrons that were come in+a Chicago Prime Burger - topped with choice of cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and mayo; we opted out of the bacon and chose cheddar as our choice of cheese; the patty was a little dry, but this was a large burger and was piled high with the ingredients+a side of fries - battered, crispy, and tasty!+a side of onion rings - large and crispy, these were tasty!+lemonade and fruit punch from the drink dispenser for our beveragesI really liked how the sides were fresh-out-of-the-fryer.There were also plenty of seating inside, and you can also call ahead to get your orders to go.Staff were super friendly, kind, and welcoming.Located in a more industrial area, there's also plenty of parking in the front.+generous portions!+fresh-out-of-the-fryer sides+friendly service!+plenty of parking in the front

Love this deli. It's one of the most popular in the area. If you're in the mood for a great steak and cheese sub, here's where you want to go. They have a variety of soups and sandwiches. It's a bit of a "hole in the wall," but that's where often the best spots to go are. Located off of Industrial Road, it does fit in with the area. Parking is limited, but for breakfast or lunch this works.It is a clean and well organized restaurant. Tables are simple but comfortable. They probably should add a tv in the dining room, but aside from that it's really nice. All of the staff are friendly and polite. Wait times are minutes at best. I've been going here for years, and am happy to recommend it.

Great customer service! I been coming here for 2 years now. Ordered their Cheese Steak with eggs and side of fries! The food is made fresh to order.

I wasn't even hungry until I finished up at a job a few doors down. I was putting my tools in my van and smelled some delicious food nearby! I looked around and found this deli! I walked in and immediately noticed how large this deli is. Very clean and organized! Seats 44 easily and comfortably! I got the western omelette breakfast and a apple juice! Food was very fresh and plenty of veggies and meat in the omelet! The home fries are on point and the toast was really good! A definite do again sometime for lunch! The color and decor in here is very relaxing with soft music in the background! I almost feel like I'm eating at home!

Got the San Fran sandwich- havarti was white and crusty as if it OK was just sitting in open air. The turkey meat was Oscar Meyer quality. There was a teaspoon of avocado on the sandwich. And Canadian bacon was also giving Oscar Meyer quality. Then they had the nerve to give iceberg lettuce. Instead of dark green Romain or watercress.

Simple, no frills sandwich joint. Clearly meant to serve the office crowd in the buisiness park it's located in, but it has great fries and the Reuben is awesome. I'd rate it higher, but the menu prices aren't cheap. It's worth it if you're in a rush though, since you're supporting a small business

Ah the PPG. One of my favorite places ever. Mostly because I worked about 100 yards away. I used to come here 3x a week and the food is really good, especially GYRO DAY!If you work in the area, its a good spot with some friendly people and a lot of menu choices. The daily specials are what I typically got, OR I'd stop in for breakfast.After I stopped working in the area I did go back once, but for industrial park delis it is typically a matter of convenience, and PPG's food is good enough to enjoy multiple times a week if its convenient to you. There were dozens and dozens of regular customers like myself who ate there all the time.I actually work in Springfield yet again, but have found a new deli/grill closer to my new office with similar qualities.

I went to Park Place to wait on a rainy day while my car seat was being fixed. I ordered a breakfast sandwich bacon, cheese, egg on white toast and it was just the way I like it. The people are very nice and efficient. The tables were kept clean and the floors mopped and swept. There was plenty of seating and the men's 'room was also clean. It is in a out of the way place on industrial road. Most of the customers it seems are hard working delivery men, truck drivers, etc. who work nearby. What I really liked is that there is plenty of parking and a lot of seating. Most people get their food to go, and so the main seating room is not crowded. The cook is fast and it only takes a few minutes for your food to be ready. I later tried a cheeseburger sub with everything and that was very good. I didn't get fries but heard several customers comment they were they best ever. For those who live near there it is worth checking out. Although it is a long drive for me from Alexandria I will occasionally go back because I like food that is grilled like fried ham & cheese, grilled cheese, bacon, egg, cheese, hamburgers, etc. There is also a hot food bar which I did not try. I didn't think to take pictures but in the future I will include some.
