Truly a hidden gem! It's located behind cafe tuah - pretty hidden since it's on the other side of the building facing the street. I came for karaoke with some friends and the room we were in was huge and had YouTube available as well as the normal karaoke system. I tried some of the food items and the kimbap was delish! The fruits were perf for a refreshing snack while singing. If you're looking for a karaoke spot, check this place out :)

I've been to a lot of dive bars and bars in general in my life, but Pangpang might be one of the weirdest.I went with a female friend of mine and we both found the place odd right off the bat. They have a limited alcohol selection and NO MENU... and we were given a strange look when we went in... why? Because I'm not sure that they ever have female customers. There were all men there and like 6 female bartenders who sat across the bar from each man, sharing his food and talking. We didnt get this treatment because it kinda felt like us being there just to grab a drink wasnt the expected thing to do at the bar. It felt super shifty.Additionally in both our limited opinions, the place kinda smelled like a strip club. The drinks were ok though...kindof pricey for Annandale. If you're looking for something more than drinks and are a dude, I think you'll find it here.Dont take my word for it... just go. 1 star

This hidden gem has been a Korean staple in Annandale for over 10 years , and more and more adoption to modern American culture make this a perfect place for the tri-fecta of Korean hospitality. You can get Korean food, have a full bar to drink, and rock out singing your old 90s favorites (and new releases) and all those superstar dreams you've had.

I had no idea this place existed, it's hidden behind a little strip in Annandale. Only way you'd know is if you ran out of parking space in front and drove around back, there's a sign that says PangPang written in Korean characters and a bunch of Christmas lights over the entrée way. You enter and it steps down underground into this speakeasy like bar area, super friendly bartenders speak Korean and English well enough. This place also has karaoke rooms and single bathrooms. Quality inside is really high as far as décor and mood. Bonus points for being able to sing karaoke right at the bar your sitting at with the screens behind the tenders. Short story long you should definitely put this place on your list to visit.

Very upset today since we are trying to find a place to sing in the early afternoon. However, when we arrive, the neighboring store tell us it won't open until five!!!! How disappointed!

Decided to try Pangpang Cafe after reading the other positive reviews here and so glad we did. It was slightly hard to find, as others have noted, but not so hard to deter us from going. My sister wanted to do karaoke for her bachelorette party, and the place we used to go to has closed down, but this may be our new spot! We had a medium sized room, plenty of space for the four of us. We ordered fried dumplings and chicken wings, the portions weren't big considering the price, but the food was good and came fairly quickly. The long island iced teas were tasty! The karaoke selection was good, and the remote pretty easy to figure out for our non-Korean speaking selves. The staff was friendly and attentive. Overall definitely recommend!

I've lived in Annandale a couple years and just found about Pangpang through a Yelp search suggestion. I like exploring the local spots so a friend and I stopped in for some drinks on a Saturday evening. We arrived early (around 8 PM) and were the only customers at the bar but sounded like they had a lively group in one of the karaoke rooms. It's a very cool spot! It's hard to find and low key on the exterior but a very pleasant surprise once you step inside. The bar is more of a cocktail spot, I was impressed with their liquor selection although the beer options are more limited (mostly just domestic bottles) but suitable for its size. Bartenders were very welcoming and friendly, everything was good with the drink craft and service. I didn't try the food but their menu looked good, featuring the type of dishes you would expect from a non-BBQ Korean kitchen. Overall from at least the experience of popping in and out for some evening drinks, it was a fun and enjoyable experience and definitely one of the more upbeat and hip spots in Annandale. I'll definitely be back another time!
