This is my local go-to Chinese take-out. They always do it right. The counter folks, I think the owners are friendly and attentive. I always have General Taos Chicken and either egg rolls or dumplings steamed. The dumplings are better for me. Find the egg rolls a little small. The ambiance is zero, this is a classic walk-in take out joint. Although the owner (?) usually walks out with me to chat about the neighborhood and is very personable. You feel appreciated when you come in to pick up the food. Try it you may like it if you're in Franklin Farm or passing thru...

10/10 Best Chinese in Herndon! The owner Charlie is awesome, he has wonderful personality and cares about his customers. He's so funny and personable I would buy from him just because of the service. But the food backs it up, the sauce is amazing and the flavors are spot on. This nice restaurant has dine in and carry out. I eat here again and again. My go to is the kung pao chicken

Given that Herndon is a very white dominated area, it is very hard to find a good place that serves Chinese cuisine. This place offers Japanese and Chinese fast food. At first I wasn't sure what to think of the sushi but after trying it, it is pretty well-made as well as cheap. The chow fun is also pretty standard and also good for value. What makes this place is how much the staff cares about your satisfaction with the food and service. I felt quite at home because I am Cantonese and the staff are Chinese as well. While I can't say that the food is the best Chinese food I've ever had, it is a wonderful place to get food quick and have speedy friendly service. My friend really enjoyed the sushi and we were full and happy. You can tell that the staff enjoys working there and serving its community and based on how many people were coming in and out, it seems to have a strong hold on the local community. There are about three tables with about four seats each so it isn't a large establishment, but it is one that makes you feel at home and is deserving of a spot in this community.

They changed their menu and got rid of their adventure menu and Sichuan type food. It's just Americanized Chinese food. It's decent but not the same. Maybe new chefs

We recently started getting take-out from this Chinese restaurant and so far so good. So far all three times we've gotten food from here, the food has been really good and feels clean inside the restaurant. They seem to do more carry-out orders than dining in.And their service is great too! Very friendly and helpful with menu selections like what they have. They have two self ordering stations, two person to person ordering front and of course they take orders by phone. And they have online ordering and they even have their own app you can use to order and receive points for rewards.Back to their foods. We have not tried all of their menu yet but from the few we have tried, their dishes have been a hit every time.First, their beef and broccoli was very delicious. Beef chunks were very tender, not stringy or too chewy. Broccoli was cooked well and tender as well. Flavorful dish if you are looking for non-spicy dish I recommend this dish.We got crispy beef. Which I really enjoyed. Thinly cut strips of beef fried to crispy and tossed in their spicy tangy sweet sauce that had slight orange flavor to it. This dish was perfect for me since I love spicy tangy sweet and crispy dishes. We got their salt and pepper shrimps which was really good too. It is best eaten fresh when it comes out because the batter will get soggy. This dish I recommend to those who love shrimp dishes. You get about ten big butterflied shrimps sautéed in small diced onion, bell peppers and bedded on shredded lettuce.Mooshu chicken was very flavorful as well. I love wrapping the dish with the wrap but this restaurant gives you the flour tortilla and not the very thin traditional wrap. Which was slightly disappointing but the chicken dish was good enough that I ate the dish without wrapping it.Chow fun! I love flat thick chewy noodles and they have pretty good chow fun. Their chow fun is wet version. If you want it spicy just add some of their hot chili oil and it is so yummy! We also tried their Szechuan string beans, which was pretty good too. We love spicy food, but this wasn't too spicy. Fried rice was good and hot & sour soup to good too. We've gotten large twice already and both times the soup tasted consistently good. We added their chili oil to kick it up a notch.Their shredded pork in Beijing sauce dish is good. This dish is usually served with steamed buns but here they give you tofu skin wraps which wasn't so bad. This dish is very flavorful, like black bean sauce with slight very slight sweetness and with some wok flavor. We will continue to order from this restaurant and try more dishes they have. And I will update with pictures as we go.

Tasty food and the people running this place are so very nice. They make you feel valued. It's a very bare bones Chinese take out style restaurant. But sometimes that's exactly what you want. I order from here regularly, both as take out and delivery. Very reliable.

We attempted to try this again - our third try. We were greeted by Simon - who was very pleasant and eager to show us the menu. Hint: if you guys download the app, you can accrue points accordingly - with a 5$ bonus just for signing up. Their menu is quite extensive, with a lot of the normal options, but they include an "adventurous" option. This round we tried their:- crispy beef (which we were informed was very similar to Peking Gourmets) - highly recommend - chicken wings for our appetizer- spicy intestine (from the adventurous option)I'd be willing to try their other options after today's experience!

I am a New Englander at heart, and there's nothing I miss more from that region than good Chinese food (other than a good Italian sub). When I moved to Northern Virginia, it was pretty hard to find a restaurant that matched up with what we were used to. We'd go somewhere that at first was really good, but then they'd reduce the quality and make it feel a little like a half-hearted attempt at Chinese food. So we've been going through a quest for years to find good Chinese food. Then we discovered Panda House. Over the years, it went through a couple of management changes, but the latest one was the best. I've eaten at places in NYC on Canal Street, and this place is as good, which is high praise from me. I really like the food here. The homemade dumplings are absolutely awesome, and I think they can definitely challenge any dumpling place out there. The General TSO's is also really good. It has the right amount of crunch and isn't greasy at all. The management here takes quality seriously, and you can definitely tell that they put in the effort to make a good dish. Worth mentioning is the Hot an Sour soup: chock full of vegetables, good broth, and just good eating. I plan on venturing out and exploring other dishes, but right now I'm happily in my comfort zone with my favorites and it's working very well. Staff is awesome too.
