UGH - I REALLY wanted to like Palisades Deli & Market and was excited to try them out for a later lunch, but it was so disappointing! This Korean-owned neighborhood market offers your basic groceries, liquor, as well as a deli section where they serve breakfast, hot and cold sandwiches, and deli meat by the pound. Note that their grocery items are from Aldi's, and the prices are just marked up.I tried their 'NY Corned Beef' on rye (you have a choice bread), which came with coleslaw, cheese (I opted for provolone, but they had Swiss, too), and Russian dressing. The sandwich itself looked appetizing, but the taste was just awful - it tasted like old dishrags/mildew, so this sandwich was tossed, ASAP.I just wished they wash and maintain their items properly...The sandwich itself is on the pricier end, at almost $11, inclusive of tax. To use a card, you'll have to spend a minimum of $10; otherwise, cash is required. The staff here are friendly and welcoming! This place seems like a favorite for those who need to pick up basic items (like sliced bread) or to get sandwiches to go.There's plenty of free street parking in the neighborhood.+sandwiches taste like old dishrags/mildew+friendly service+street parking available

Along MacArthur Blvd is a small brick building that's a bodega with basic goods and a deli that sells sandwiches (hot and cold) and bubble tea! I stopped in for lunch and ordered the "Capocolloe." It was the perfect amount of food and the flavors popped! The store takes credit card, but there is an ATM in the back.

It's great to have a neighborhood deli with all (or most) of the basics. Their fast and friendly service is a bonus. These guys absolutely deserve your business. Why walk or drive all the way to Safeway or CVS just to grab a few items you can pick up here so easily? Support this small, local business!

Ahhh-mazing sammies - especially the breakfast bagels! Do yourself a favor (if you like meat) and try the sausage, egg and cheese on a bagel! All their other sandwiches are delish - they pair things together that I wouldn't have thought of and they turn out great. Plus all the meats are Boar's Head and all ingredients are fresh! In addition to great food, they have all the "opps I forgot to buy such and such while at the grocery" type items and all the impulse items (like ginger lemon cookies, etc) that you could want. And, they are super friendly and helpful. I just moved into the area and the owners were quick to welcome me and say hello.I've found my go-to corner (but not really on the corner) bodega! Cheers!

I'm just gonna add a short review for a local place worth trying! Really nice folks run it and make your sandwiches... well done, fresh ingredients and super tasty at a great price compared to other spots around here. What's not to like? Should mention that they also have a decent variety of goods in the market. I just discovered it and I'm looking forward to checking out their specials and soups...

I think I'll be coming here a lot in the future on the way from work on Fridays, or for a chill night in. The sandwiches they have look fantastic, though I just got the Hard Italian again. I really need to get out of my comfort zone. The items they carry at the counter beyond sandwiches look delicious too. In addition, I like the variety of gas station accouterments that they have as well, like a 7-11 but better quality products. The alcohol selection is also fantastic for the size of the place, not just your regular Miller but also a nice variety of IPAs and porters. A bit pricey though overall, but nice to have it in the neighborhood. I'd definitely be coming back a lot more if they were open later.

What makes a great corner deli? Friendliness, convenience, quality, and shelf-stock? If so, the Palisades Deli & Market qualifies on every aspect. The owner, who fastidiously occupies the cashier position in the store, is a genuinely nice person, always smiling and appreciative of my business, which I happy to give. The sandwiches and breakfast bagels are stupendous! Truly, I prefer spending my money here over Jetties 7 days a week due to the equitable quality and lower prices at the Palisades Deli. The Italian is my personal favorite, but all of the items are worthwhile. Finally, the stock is fantastic! The wine and beer selection is not solely comprised of your stereotypical Barefoot wines and Busch Lights. Instead, there are some moderately priced craft brews and higher quality wines available for purchase. In sum, if you live in the area, the Palisades Deli is worth the visit.

Every time I come I find something new to love about this clean, well-stocked, nicely run deli and market:PopChips. Kinder chocolate. Illy coffee. Avocado mozzarella sammies. Italian wine. Fresh fruit. Cold sesame noodle salad. Cookiehead cookies. Dirty potato chips. Apricot jam. Wege sourdough hard pretzels. And the breakfast sandwiches are still the best.Yes, they take credit cards, but only for purchases over $10. So, again: bring cash.

The Palisades Deli is a very nice play to go for a snack. They have these amazing sandwiches, and on a special day, they have perfect sweets. They are baked in the oven and come out fresh. This place is a amazing place to go in the afternoon or for a sweet breakfast on a nice Saturday morning. I would highly recommend this place for a small treat. Enjoy!
