Pacci's Trattoria & Pasticceria

This is our first time eating at Pacci Trattoria. We had a 730 pm reservation . Parking is a little dicey, but we were able to get a spot across the street once people left the restaurant. They were very busy. The lady who greeted us was helping in multiple areas and very friendly. she was making drinks, seating people and more. About 20 minutes later, we were seated and I was hungry, so I ordered a margarita pizza right away with meatballs. it was excellent perfectly cooked! once I put the red pepper, it had a perfect flavor for me my fiancé liked it plain. The mozzarella was very fresh. The next thing we had was a chicken marsala and a chicken Parmesan with the tagliatelle pasta. I would recommend ordering it al dente, which we did. it came out at the right consistency. It would've been overcooked if it was any longer. Everything was excellent and had a nice flavor. We ordered a side of Bolognese sauce and it had a wonderful savory taste. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The products they use are very fresh . Everything was 10 out of 10 so far ! Finally to top it off we ordered the tartufo spumoni that was to die for!! creamy chocolate and vanilla gelato and a chocolate shell. The place was busy. It's very cute and historical. Our waiter was very nice making sure we were OK topping off our iced teas Overall will definitely go back and highly recommend.

Pacci's Trattoria is a solid, moderately priced family-friendly Italian restaurant. Our party of six had a table in a nice nook between the front and back of the restaurant.Our meal started with different breads, including my favorite - their homemade, freshly baked focaccia. (It went so quickly, I had only time for one pic!) My entree, the Tagliatelle Alla Boscaiola's sauce included sausage, mushrooms, parmesan, and black pepper in a cream sauce. My only wish would be that they offer additional pepper freshly ground at the table, since its flavors were muted. That being said, the staff was friendly as well as responsive, and everyone enjoyed their dishes. Note - Pacci's offers military discounts.

Shhhh! Nobody tell anyone about this place. The pizza is too amazing and if too many people know about it, it'll be too crowded and we'll never get another table! This is the pizza I dream about when I think of being in Italy and eating pizza. It is so fresh, the ingredients are simple, but always elegant, and a nice finish of olive oil versus a greasy mess that you find at American pizza places, really set this place apart. Their other dishes are just as amazing. My kids and my favorite is the grilled octopus. Now I'm hungry

Overall I had a great time here. I came here for my birthday. We ordered the mushroom ravioli, il padrino and poveralla. Pizzas were okay but the pasta was amazing. Cocktails were also nice and refreshing. I'd definitely come back for the pasta. Ambiance is cute cute date night but it's also good for groups. There's parking as well.

Enjoyed a homemade meal here. The appetizer Pacci bread was quite tasty, is made of their pizza crust which is delicious and didn't detract from having pizza for the main entree. The pizza had that amazing crust with fresh sauce, I thought there could have been more flavor, I had to add some salt, paprika which I never do to pizza. The service could also be more attentive, we ran out of water several times and had to stop someone to ask for refills.The Nutella pizza for desert was good but could have used something extra on top to crest some opposing textures or flavors. Local Italian spot fun for a visit.

I was not impressed by the food or service at this location. The eggplant fritti appetizer was decent but the server only provided one plate even though we said we wanted to split it. We ended up taking a second plate off a nearby table because the waiter showed no signs of returning while the appetizer was hot. The bread was no better than italian bread from a grocery store. Our pizzas were disappointing. The Verace pizza was bland, oily, and extremely flimsy. The crust was pretty good but not enough to justify the price. We had to ask for a water refill several times before a waiter finally helped us.The restaurant interior is cute. As many orher reviewers have pointed out, parking is very limited and tricky.I'm glad I tried it, but don't plan on returning.

We had takeout from here tonight. It was delicious. The pizza was excellent, the pasta dish was very good, and the salads were delicious. We will be back to eat at the restaurant soon.

Great staff and such a beautiful old romantic restaurant. The buffet is fresh and loved all the offerings! The pasta was delicious!

It's a cute spot, convenient to the Washington DC Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It's a little pricey for what you get. Flavorful with nice presentation. I expect to be offered salad and bread with a pasta entree, neither of which was offered. Wait staff was attentive but not always knowledgeable about the menu items and meanings of Italian ingredients! Good time, though! We never felt rushed.

The food is always awesome as is the service. We have been Pacci's fans since this gem opened. Keep up the good work!
