Yum! Freshly made tacos at a great price point. Four tacos for only $11! I was very pleased. These aren't my favorite tacos in the area, but a solid option. The tacos were very flavorful and I like the touch of cucumber. I found some of the meat to be a bit dry, particularly the chicken. Their verde sauce was delicious. I just wish they gave more of it. They're made fresh so expect to wait a bit!

The best authentic tacos - highly recommend trying this food truck! The food is made to order, prepared quickly, and they have a great 3 for $8 taco deal so you can mix and match to try different combos! You can tell this family owned/operated business is a favorite among locals as there is always a crowd from open to close. A definitely must-try if you're in Rosslyn.

These are the best, most authentic tacos we've had yet in our 4+ years living in the DMV. (Although, to be fair, we haven't made it to that other Arlington taco truck yet. We'll get our butts over there someday!) They make their tortillas in-house, and that quality comes through in the texture and taste. My only criticism for the tacos would be that I personally prefer my carne asada to have a bit more char. For himself, my boyfriend ordered the torta cubana. For those of you who didn't know (I certainly didn't), the torta cubana is a completely different sandwich from the cubano! It has things like breaded meat and eggs in it. His main criticism of the torta cubana was: it's so huge! Seriously, it was a massive sandwich that even my boyfriend had trouble finishing it all. This last criticism is unfortunately the most important one, and the reason this otherwise excellent food truck loses a star. The chef was not wearing his mask properly. If your mask isn't covering your nose, it isn't protecting the food and the customers from accidental transmission of pathogens. So, while the food was delicious, we won't be visiting again unless we see that the staff are all wearing their masks properly.

My favorite taco food truck in all of the DMV! The owner is super sweet. The meat is always well seasoned. I've tried all of the tacos they have on the menu and haven't had one I didn't like. When I lived in Rosslyn, I used to stop by whenever I could. Now that I live a few neighborhoods over, getting tacos from Pa' Tortas is a treat!

Pa' Tortas El Papi is a sister truck to Pa' Tacos El Papi, my favorite (and, who I honestly believe is THE best in the DMV!!!) taco truck!Their menu is modest, but focuses on what they are known for - tortas! They have varieties, such as La Infiel (Cubana), La Chilanga (with carne asada), La Petacono (with milanesa), La Pechugaona (with chicken), Del Chavo (with ham), La Sensual (with pig leg), and the Hawaiian (with beef and a slice of pineapple). They also have shrimp tacos, but those seem to be extremely limited and only offered on certain days.I was super excited to finally check them out, and we ordered the Pambazo and the Chilaquiles (both that are only served on the weekends as a special!). The Pambazo came in a soft bread that seemed to have been dipped in some time of a juice, so it had this savory-looking red color to it; diced potatoes and chorizo was inside as a filling, and this was great with the thick tomatillo sauce that added a nice kick to it. My favorite, however, was the special Chilaquile - filled with a perfectly fried milanesa, thick tortilla chips, and drenched with sauce and cheese and a perfectly seasoned fried egg, this was absolutely delicious!!! Sometimes, the tortillas can be soggy in other eateries' versions of chilaquiles, but within this sammie, they were still crispy! The bread was panini-pressed at the end, which added a nice extra crispiness to it, and again, adding some more tomatillo sauce just put it over the top!Everything was freshly-made with fresh ingredients. There is a mini counter attached to the truck, but most seem to take their orders to go.The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and you can tell that this family-owned and -operated business has it going on! I can't wait to go back and try out their shrimp tacos and the rest of their tortas. You can find them in Clarendon during the week near the business district, and off of 50 and George Mason during the weekends.Check this truck out - you won't be disappointed!+delicious tortas!+chilaquiles!+addicting tomatillo sauce!+friendly staff!

I've passed this beautiful festive truck several times and finally when I was having a taco obsession, I had to try their tacos! You know how something is so available to you... until you want it! Lol, I walked miles one Sunday so I could finally try Pa' Tortas El Papi's tacos and guess what... the truck wasn't there! Once, I was able to try the tacos I saw their business hours and their not open on Sundays. I made sure to snap a photo of their business hours, which I've attached. Okay now let's talk about the tacoosss.I ordered their 4 tacos special, which is 4 tacos for $10. I ordered two carne asada, one chicken and one chorizo. The tacos are served on two tortillas. It took maybe 5 minutes for them to prepare my food. When I opened my container their presentation was quite nice for a food truck. Four lined up tacos with a cute little Mexican flag in the middle. I love a good presentation, it was so adorable! I loved how The flag informed me they were Mexican tacos. I knew they'd be good from seeing that little flag. You know how else I was assured I was in for a treat, the tacos were served on two tortillas, a sure sign of "tacos authentico"! The tacos come with the meat and they ask if you'd like the onions and cilantro mix, yes! The tacos are also served with lime. I asked for salsa verde and salsa picante, both sauces were delicious. All the tacos were yummy! The chorizo might have been my favorite, I certainly recommend it. If you see that beautiful "Pa' Tortas El Papi" food truck do yourself a favor stop and order some authentic Mexican food, you will not regret it!

Good tacos, with a variety of options for a decent price. Not nearly as expensive as Tacombi when you have a craving and they happen to be parked in Crystal City. My new go to!

My 5 star rating is for quality not price. The tacos were just....the best. I got one each of the pollo, asada, and chorizo. All were very good, but the pollo and chorizo beat out the asada. 4$ a taco is the median in Virginia i've found, but being from the southwest, it still makes me irrationally irritated.

Pa' Tortas El Papi made tacos for my June wedding. We chose to have the open grill and not the truck. Communication was easy and fast. The whole team was so kind and friendly. They arrived and quickly set up and began serving. The lines moved quick and the tacos were all DELICIOUS! Everyone was talking about how great the tacos were. My only regret is not eating more of their food! I highly recommend this group for any party, gathering, or event.
