I miss this place's delicious food that I was getting once a week, when I was living in the area. A few times the communication was difficult, but every time I had a great experience. Modern, inviting, friendly and always has a soccer game on tv.

Was visiting the area and seen this place so I wanted to try it out though when I arrived we were sat down Our server didn't speak any English so she was using google translate on her phone to talk to us. She had let us know they are only working with a portion of the menu as they downsized the menu. The portion of the menu was appetizer, 2 salads and a small section of other things. We ended just leaving and going elsewhere as the menu options were that little. They do have a sign posted that they are looking to hire almost every position so not sure if they are severely short staffed and if that's why they had to significantly downsize the menu but definitely was disappointed

So many seafood options- so hard to decide. Went with fish, parrilladas (aka fajita), nachos & kids shrimp (a steal at $7). Excellent mango margarita, strong too!Lively, clean restaurant with decent ( friendly but tad slow) service and authentic food - worth the trip to Manassas.

I was excited finding this Mexican mariscos restaurant in Manassas Virginia. I was on a trip to visit a family member in Culpeper Va. I thought Manassas was ideal place to stop for lunch. I Yelp for Seafood restaurants and Ostioneria Michoacan came up. Immediately, I knew wanted to try this place. From the outside, This restaurant doesn't seem appealing. However, The inside is very clean, spacious and decorated with a Seafood theme. All the different dishes I tasted were authentic and flavorful. The vuelve a la vida dish was pleasantly different, but it was delicious. I always had vuelve a la vida in cocktail and this restaurant it was a soup. The ceviche tostadas were my favorite dish and reasonably price. I was very please with the food and service. I definitely will be back to try other dishes in the menu.

Tried this place out for the first time and it was pretty good, except for the oysters. They did not taste good nor did they taste fresh. No cocktail sauce and they added lime rather than lemon. This was disappointing. Luckily everything else tasted good. We got breaded shrimp and breaded shrimp and chicken which came with fried rice, fries, and salad. The sauce on the side was good and the fried rice was delicious. The shrimp quesadilla was smaller than expected (more like the size of a taco), but delicious. The shrimp and fish tacos were okay. Our server did not seem to understand us very well, but did get our order right. When I told him the oysters were not good, he didn't seem to understand that either so we still ended up paying for 12 even though we didn't finish them. He did check up on us after receiving our food quite a bit to make sure we were okay. This restaurant is located in a strip mall and they replaced what used to be a pizza place. A duo came around 8pm and they sounded pretty good. I probably won't return, but it was nice to try it out.

I was pleasantly surprised by the tostada mixta I ordered. I went there for a quick snack because I was craving some seafood so I ordered it to go. The proportion was amazing! I got a lot of bang for my buck. The hostess was very nice and attentive to my needs though they were not many. I will say that if you base your decision to go here on the reviews alone you will be missing out. I was blown away by one of the reviews that suggest the music should be changed to appease their needs. Well (insert eye-roll) it's a Mexican restaurant. The other review was that the waitresses did not know English that well. If that is your issue you don't want authentic.

Not sure what's happening but the service is going down hill. The last time there was a group of seven of us and we were told there were no seats. We could see a big table with empty seats when we asked if we could sit there we were told they were only for families. Ummm so I guess a group of seven isnt considered family (??) okay we let that slide. Went back today and although they weren't that busy the service was extremely slow. Asked for a tab twice and we still ended waiting thirty more minutes after our second request. I can understand being understaffed they are not the onky ones experiencing this but we will not be returning
