Unassuming storefront and the food is good, but poorly plated. A sandwich doesn't come with fries, so don't serve it with a huge empty space next to it. Additionally it took way too long to get our food considering how few people were there (no one waiting on food before us) and they completely forgot our drinks. Worst part was, we saw a guy walk up and order his sandwich and coffee and get both in almost no time, while there was another person still waiting - obviously they can get orders right and food made quickly, so it was just everything going wrong for us. No reason to return.

Oozie is a new rotisserie chicken eatery, located right off of Columbia Pike. Their menu offers various breakfast items (croissants, bagels, and English muffin sandwiches; ful; chicken fajitas omelets; and, even a hummus avocado toast); coffee; tea; sandwiches (rotisserie chicken, falafel, etc.); shawarma and wraps; rice bowls; family meals with rotisserie chicken; salads; and, various sides. The hubs and I tried: their Chicken Shawarma wrap (the meat was flavorful and seasoned very well; the chicken was also not too dried out), their Beef & Lamb Shawarma (a little game-y for me, but the hubs loved this more!), and a side of french fries. For the wraps, we included baba ghanouj, tahini, tzaziki, hummus, and pickles; I highly recommend in having their housemade spicy sauce, as it complements the wrap very well! The french fries were crispy and freshly-made.Don't forget their housemade lemonade and tea - I would go for the half-and-half, as you get the best from both worlds. It was cold, slightly tart, refreshing, and absolutely delicious! The staff were all friendly and super welcoming, and there were plenty of tables and chairs to sit and dine; there is also a small patio outside where you can dine al fresco when the weather permits.I'd love to check out their rotisserie chicken and their bowls next time! There's a small lot for your car.+delicious shawarma wraps!+housemade spicy sauce!+delicious baba ghanouj+friendly staff!

The new master chef provides amazing dishes from North Africa and the Mediterranean area. The lamb and chicken Tajien is to die for. This place had a bad rebs before, but now it's really coming back to take a top place in my list for dining options. I highly recommend it.

A lot of food for the price and it was pretty good! I would order again... fresh, simple and clean.

Love this little place ! Good prices and they don't skimp on the portions. From the Peruvian chicken to the shawarma dishes, everything is fresh and flavorful. Although not your typical shawarma meat, it does the job and there are good toppings and sauces to choose from! There can sometimes be a language barrier between you and the guys who prepare the food, but with the help of the owner who is very patient (assuming he's the owner because he's always there and directing things) there is never an issue with customer service.

The food is nasty. I order half chicken with rice and yuca. The chicken they served was old and made me sick. The rice was just nasty and old. The yuca was really dry. Waste of money. Maybe the worst food I have ever paid for.

Stopped by this place since it's pretty close to me. I expected this to be like the many other Peruvian/rotisserie chicken places around here but they had a lot of middle eastern options as well. My hubby and I both opted to try the shawarma. He did beef/lamb and I did the chicken shawarma salad. So good! I didn't see it on the menu, but asked for it since I had seen a yelp photo of one. For 8 bucks I got a delicious salad piled high with freshly made chicken. I plan to come back and try the rotisserie chicken as well.

I live steps from the location. The Chicken Shawarma bowl is lit! I met the humble top owner the first day they opened. He told me this was a dream of his for over 20 years and made it happen. Some dishes might appeal differently to people on personal taste, but it is super clean so at the very least, cleanliness is on point.Couldn't be a nicer group of people. They are owned by a cluster of cab drivers that put their money together to pull it together. Any night around 7p-930p there will be 20-30 cabs in the parking lots dining en-masse. They also own Duccini's pizza next door which is solid on its own merit. No need to take my word for it, the Fire Department/EMS squads pull up for lunch and that should speak volumes!
