Parking there's a outdoor lot. First 2 hours are free. After that you have to pay. There are garages nearby, which also cost money after 2 hours. All with short walk. Went for lunch for restaurant week woth friends. Appetizer i had chicken flantas. It was flavorful. Then the Short rib tacos, our waiter said were the best item. It was very good! Meat was so soft and a lot for one taco. I had to eat some before picking it up to eat. Tres Leche was amazing. It was different and not overly moist and soggy. I love the cinnamon taste. I'd definitely order all of this again. Restaurant has a large space. It got packed pretty quickly for lunch and food did not take long. Staff were polite. Music is different then you'd think they'd play. Not much soanish music as all. American and country music. They have a happy house space upstairs that looks really nice. It wasn't open but you can see it when on the way to the bathrooms upstairs. Overall a nice restaurant.

Atmosphere was great, drinks were super yummy, and food was meh, good at best. however, THE SERVICE??? abhorrent. Cindy was our server, and I feel bad name dropping her, but I have never had worse service. After getting our drinks, we said we needed more time to decide on food, and she said "Can you actually look at the menu?" only then to leave us for 30 minutes before checking in again. She then took our orders, and didn't come back for 40 MINUTES. the food runners dropped off our food, and every time we tried to get her attention she would just walk right past us. Manager also did not stop by our table at all, but managed to get the others right next to us, as well as Cindy. Just the worst part of it all was we knew she wasn't busy. We were ignored and walked by so many times. She was checking in and cashing out tables that came after us, and would disappear for 10+ minutes and checked on us a total of 4 times, including taking our orders and dropping off checks, over a course of 2+ hours. Will not be coming back and will be strongly discouraging others to come visit.

Parking: $6 dollars evening on a Saturday in a garage in Tyson's. They don't validate or offer valet Ambience: 10/10 it's a beautiful restaurant and if it wasn't winter I'm sure outside seating is funService: 3/10 Our server seemed lost most of the night and I understand we had a large party of 8 but she needed help Food: 7/10 Nothing to rave about but some of the dishes were pretty good Drinks: 4/10 So much ice and watered down. Barely can taste my drink

My friend who works at Capital One says he frequents this spot for lunch. Looking for a good tex mex place, I wanted to check it out. I thought the food was pretty good and was a step up from your typical place. The chicken with mole was juicy and their homemade mole sauce had a smoky/earthy taste that I loved. The fajitas were also tender and I loved the melted cheese you get. I loved the esquites as it had just the right amount of saltiness/tanginess to pair well with the sweet corn and rich entrees. Would love to comeback and try their Machete Quesadilla! Apps: Chips and GuacEntrees: Cornish Hen with Mole, Steak Fajitas and Short Rib TacosSides: Esquites (Mexican street corn)

I came to this place for my birthday lunch on Saturday at 2 pm. One of the things I really enjoyed were the sauces and Chips that they brought once we sat down. Next, I ordered the spicy Margarita which was absolutely delicious. The guac kind of locked a little bit of flavor but it was pretty good too. The service is very friendly very professional and everyone seem to always be concerned about if we'd liked their food or not. The ambience was relatively casual and pretty loud. The tortilla soup was salty I added a glass of water in there and it tasted better lol. My mom ordered the short rib tacos and they came out cold but the server kindly brought it back to the kitchen so they could heat it up again. I ordered beef fajitas which were absolutely delicious and filling. After they realize their mistake, they offered to buy our plate! So kind of them. Once the server realized it was my birthday, they gave me a free dessert and mini drink. It was delicious and I felt so grateful that they treated me on my birthday. One of the servers next to us was cleaning up a table and accidentally spilled salsa all over our coats. They offered us a $25 gift card so got to say they are very professional about taking full responsibility for their mistakes and I will definitely be coming here again not just for the great service but for the delicious food and wonderful people that work here!

Sunday afternoon lunch was quite a treat as we were pleasantly surprised to find then restaurant week specials! With all the uncertainty in the world, we could all use some queso and margaritas. The restaurant week special seemed like a great deal and it was. I had the flautas ahogadas, braised chicken enchiladas with salsa verde, and tres leches. It was so much food, I came home with leftover enchiladas. The service was great, I loved the decor - it felt like we were stepping into a restaurant in the desert southwest. The only weird part was the old school country music playing overhead, it was unexpected and didn't seem to fit the vibe of Ometeo. Otherwise, we had a great experience!

This restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. I would absolutely take a group here for a work happy hour, a private event, and definitely date night. Service is good. The team was very kind. I will admit that our server didn't know what certain items in Spanish were on the menu and told us that the chile con queso was ground beef and not green chilis. We were really impressed with all of the food. The free chips and salsa are incredible and you get both red and green salsa. The guacamole was delicious - a little different than a traditional guacamole but we liked it. The vegetarian fajitas come with an incredible amount of vegetables and the variety is very interesting. The Michaela was actually the worst one I've ever had. No joke. This is a favorite drink of mine and I'm sincerely hoping they made the mix wrong that day. However, our server happily swapped it out for another cocktail which I enjoyed.Overall impressions. Good food, moderately overpriced, beautiful interior, and good service. Definitely worth a visit.

Service was amazing! Our server's suggestions were on point.Food: My short rib was huge and the flavors were phenomenal. My friend's dish took up most of the table. Both dishes were superb.Drinks: Mexcal mules was yummy and strong. $10 for HH not the cheapest unfortunately Atmosphere: the decor is ridiculous. They spent a fortune and it shows. Very beautiful.Bonus: they just opened a 'lounge' on the second floor. Its beautiful! Can't wait to spend my paycheck there Overall: Very upscale Mexican restaurant. Close to metro at the Capital One HQ. Its expensive so expect to pay $$$. I would say the only thing that I would like them to improve upon are the salsa. It can but kicked up a notch. I know its FREE but the chips are great and i kept in eating the salsa because of the chips.

Ometeo is in the Capital One Complex close to Tyson's Corner/McLean area. Once we were seated it was several minutes before a waiter visited our table. However, once he arrived, the service was excellent for the remainder of the evening. The table is provided with salsa and chips. The verde salsa was very good, much better than the traditional salsa. You are given both. The short rib tacos were perfect. The beef was extremely tender and flavorful. Everyone else at the table got fajitas. I tried the skirt steak and I was surprised in the quality of the meat. Probably the best fajitas around NOVA. We finished off the evening with campfire s'mores flambeado. The marshmallow ice cream was rolled in a cornflake crust sitting on chocolate ganache and cinnamon meringue. It was lit table side. Great presentation and quite tasty. It was definitely different. Overall we were there over 2 hours and didn't even notice. The restaurant was very crowded and lively. Looking forward to returning to Ometeo.
