Woodbridge finally has legit Korean food!!! Spice and flavors aren't toned down for a Western's palate. Korean owned and Korean cooks. I'm absolutely thrilled that this place opened up 5 minutes from my house. When I'm craving something specific and my mother doesn't have the time to cook it...this is where I go.My mother is a 74 year old Korean woman who can cook like no other...and she likes the food here. That should tell you enough.

Ohmani Bap & Joong Guk Jib is located as part of the food court inside Global Food. This Korean/Chinese-Korean eatery offers some simple, homestyle eats, ranging from bulgogi, tteokbokki, dduk guk, daegu maeoon tang, jajangmyun, tangsooyook, etc.We came here for an early dinner, and we tried:+the Gan Jja Jang - aka, #3; this had a savory jjajang sauce that was smokey but very yummy; definitely different and a more flavorful sauce we've had in the DC metro area! Noodles were a little overcooked, but very generous in portions+Kimchi Jeon - aka, #31; this was extremely large, had a slight chew, and comes with a sweeter soy sauce; I prefer the regular soy sauce/vinegar/gochugaru mixture; this was filled with tons of kimchi and scallions and was a nice app to share+the Galbi Dolsot Bibimbap - aka, #24; came with lots of rice, veggies, and good chunks of galbi; rice was a little more wet than I would like; veggies were fresh, and galbi had some fat and cartilage, which the hubs gladly took and enjoyed; the bibim sauce is spicy, which I was happy about, as usually they're more on the sweeter end+and, a Tteok Manduguk - aka, #9; a large generous bowl with tons of sliced rice cake and dumplings; this was soothing, and perfect for a cold day or when you're feeling slightly under the weatherThe staff are super friendly and kind here! There are plenty of tables that are shared between patrons of the different eateries; slightly tight, but still manageable.Would love to try the stews and the kimbops on the next visit!Plenty of parking in the large lot.+simple, homecooked Korean/Chinese-Korean eats+friendly service+located inside Global Food+plenty of parking

Totally love this place, even though it's in the middle of a corner of global food. It's worth it if you like legitimate Korean cuisine. Served with a friendly staff, they have some of the best bibimbap I have had since living in Korea. Also, their kimchi is on point.
