I visited Nue Elegantly Vietnamese for Restaurant Week and had a great experience. The Le's Passion mocktail was refreshing with a nice passionfruit and citrus flavor. Starting for the appetizers and small plates, I had the papaya green salad which was fresh and crunchy, with just the right amount of dressing. The seafood cha gio (egg rolls) were crispy and delicious. The bo kho pappardelle was unique, but it wasn't hot when it arrived, likely due to a long wait between courses. That was the only downside of the experience. For dessert, the tropical chè was a sweet ending to the meal. One thing to note is a 20% service fee added to the bill. Also, the noise level was a bit much -- the table next to us was really loud it hurt my ears, and I couldn't fully enjoy my meal because of it.Overall, it was a tasty experience with a fun twist on Vietnamese flavors, but the noise could be improved.

TLDR; I came to Nue for the ambience and stayed for the service. Very creative takes on elevated Vietnamese fusion dishes. The interior is absolutely stunning with the painted walls and all pink interior. They had beautiful decorations up from lunar new year which were wonderful. Service was actually very good, our server was prompt, attentive, and friendly. The meal for valentines was presented beautifully. We got a Caesar salad to start and because it's Vietnamese style there were rice paper croutons inside which were awesome. The radish in the dish gave a nice crunch but was bitter tasting. We ordered garlic chili oil wontons for the appetizer and it was good. Probably the best dish of the night with strong crispy garlic flavor and very mild spice. For the main we got the surf and turf special and it was a ton of food! You get like 40 oz of ribeye steak and two giant prawns and two large scallops. My only complaint was that I didn't enjoy having to peel my own shrimp at a nice restaurant. I loved the Che for dessert - its fruit and tapioca in a coconut flavored pudding. Just the right amount of sweetness!

I have been to Nue two times now. My recent visit and reason for review is for their Lunar New year event. I reserved a table for 4 on a Friday night. It was quite busy as they were also participating in restaurant week so we were glad we had a reservation. Service was great. We were attended to at all times by our server and frequently checked in on if we needed more water and to see how we were liking what we ordered. Where it missed the mark for us was the food itself. Out of my party, I am the only person familiar with Nue's menu but for the rest of my party it was their first time.As a Vietnamese person myself, I would say that their concept takes a modern spin on a lot of familiar Vietnamese dishes, but some make sense (bo kho pappardelle, seafood egg rolls, pho xao) and some are nothing special and overpriced (com ga, surf n turf board). It is a hit or miss based on what you order. The experience and ambiance of this restaurant is what brings me back but the food is just not worth the price point which is what I feel every time I come back here.

I dined at Nue restaurant on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at 7:30 pm. As a Vietnamese-American myself, besides my own family's cooking, the only other authentic Vietnamese food I've enjoyed are the ones at more "hole-in-the-wall," family-owned restaurants like the ones at the Eden Center. Even though sometimes they don't really care that their menus are falling apart and have some misspelling errors, or that their dining tables/chairs are wobbly, or even that they give you a bit of that "professional" Vietnamese service - they let their food do all the talking. But sometimes it's not enough. Nue succeeds in elevating while still maintaining the true Vietnamese flavors that I've grew up with and known to love. It was actually refreshing to be able to enjoy a more elegantly presented Vietnamese dinner with a pleasant ambience and attentive service at Nue. The green papaya Caesar salad was heavy on the dressing and tasted too rich, to such a degree that I thought it didn't really belong on the menu. However, the lump crab asparagus soup was as homey as this soup can get. Thick and well-balanced soup with bits of crab meat and asparagus. The seafood cha gio were crispy and light. I loved the seafood filling inside. And lastly, the crispy whole fish was amazing. The fish was skillfully deboned, which made eating this fish so much more enjoyable. The fish was perfectly cooked - crispy and moist. For a fish this size, I thought the amount of herbs and veg could be more. The service was very attentive and professional. Probably the best I've ever experienced at a Vietnamese restaurant. The server explained each dish and how it was supposed to be enjoyed. Drinks were refilled regularly, which is always a plus. Overall, Nue is a perfect example of properly elevated cuisine that respects the true flavors of Vietnam. Well done.

Had the pleasure of trying out the new Lunar New Year menu, and wow, it did not disappoint! The "Longevity Noodles" were tossed in a flavorful garlic and black pepper sauce that really hit the spot, while the salt & pepper prawns were crispy, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The "Celebration" Banh Chung offered a fresh twist, with mung bean, smoked trout roe, and pork floss blending together in a surprising but tasty way.And the "Red and Gold" Roasted Beet Salad? Absolutely divine! A fun spin on the classic beet and goat cheese combo, but with burrata--because, really, who doesn't love burrata? The toasted hazelnuts gave it a nice, nutty flavor as well! Of course, the cocktails are on point as well. The Earth Snake features toasted coconut vodka, and even though I'm not usually a coconut fan, the mix of vodka and pandan really worked--it wasn't too sweet, just light and refreshing. The Water Snake was super refreshing, and the Bacardi spiced rum paired nicely with the bourbon in the Wood Snake, making it a perfect winter drink.Don't miss out--try these seasonal menu items before they're gone! I think they're available until February 2nd but don't quote me on it.

Nue brings something new to Vietnamese cuisine. The menu features creative, comforting dishes that melds different flavors into something beautiful. While Nue stays authentic to its Vietnamese roots, the seasoning do not overwhelm the natural flavors of the ingredients. The interior is fun luxury. The space is comfortable and while not a big space, feels spacious.Service was attentive and professional. Overall, we had a wonderful evening and enjoyed everything we ordered. Each dish was unique. The price point is on the high side. Dishes are shareable but not large portions.

My husband and I have wanted to dine here forever. We like all the happy endings locations and elevated Vietnamese cuisine just sound amazing. We had a date night with our kids in tow. Our server was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful attending to us and our rowdy kids. Service and the desserts were actually the highlight of our meal. I thought all the dishes that we ordered were good but perhaps I expected a little bit more fusion or uniqueness. We started with their ceasar salad and pho pate and both were delicious. The pho pate had a tang to it with the squeeze of lime juice and I loved the light, crunchy Chinese donut sticks that paired perfectly with the pate. The salad had a nice creamy dressing and different textures which I like. We ordered the risotto with scallops, and bo kho pappardelle for our entrees. The pasta dish was savory, meaty, and smooth. I actually wasn't a fan of the risotto. It was cooked well in the coconut milk and had some heat and spice to it. The first several bites were good. But the dish kind of became one tone and almost boring after the first several bites. The scallops were cooked tender but an extra $19 for three little pieces of scallops that were only descent? I think the overall food here is a bit pricey but this is higher quality and elevated cuisine. I had two zero proof drinks. The Firelight was cool to see light up and I like the spicy seasoning along the side of the glass. Sadly I didn't enjoy Le's Passion. I loved both of the desserts that we ordered which were the Tropical Che and "Blossoming" Pavlova. Both were fruity, lightly sweet, creamy, memorable, and the pavlova itself was perfection. The decor, menu, and drawing of prizes if you spend over $200 taking place now in honor of the upcoming lunar new year is aesthetic and fun. And for those whose meal is $200 or more and want to play the drawing for prizes, I think everyone wins something even if you didn't "win". We didn't win but still got a $25 gift card to return here.

Absolute Hidden Gem!This place was so good I had to go back just two weeks later. The food was incredible--my favorites were the wontons in chili oil and the coconut curry risotto. The drinks were on another level! We tried the Ha Long Bae, Fire Dragon, Gold Dragon, and Earth Snake, and every single one was fantastic. They had a blend of Asian flavors that made them unique and refreshing! For dessert, we had the yucca cake with dulce de leche ice cream -- I wasn't expecting much, but it ended up being the surprise highlight of the meal. The service was amazing too. If you can, sit at the bar and chat with Ashley and Kevin -- they're awesome and made the whole experience even more fun.The dining room is gorgeous, with such a cool, Instagram-worth vibe that makes you want to hang out for hours.10/10 recommend NUE! Already looking forward to my next visit.

This place was great! The food was good the service was attentive and the vibe was chill. We got the spring rolls and the texture and flavor were great but the dipping sauce had an overwhelming fishy flavor. The wontons were very flavorful but there was too much dough. After that the main entrees arrived quickly. The short rib had a nice kick to it but the noodles were a little slimy. Risotto had great fruity flavor but was a little chunky. We also got a noodle dish which was fine but relied on other items for flavor. In conclusion it was a great meal!
