We like it here and go often, usually on a Friday night for "Happy Hour!" The food is good and the menu has just enough on it to satisfy everyone. We've gone here so often now, that I guess we're "regulars." The waiters let us seat ourselves and pretty much know what we'll order. This is another neighborhood bar/restaurant that probably attracts mostly folks from a 1,000 foot radius, but because they have a pretty good-sized parking lot, it's worth a drive from greater Alexandria and some parts of Arlington!

Go see Teresa and Nisha at the bar! I came in for a quick lunch and had an amazing Grilled chicken sandwich. The sauce on the side was so tasty and definitely homemade. I opted for tots instead of fries. So effing good. Service was fast and attentive. Can't wait to go back!

Came here for restaurant week and felt it was a good deal for 40 for three courses! We tried the bbq deviled eggs, the fried Mac and cheese, the salmon, and the steak frites. Then we both finished with the beignets--more donuts, but still delicious! The service was friendly and the atmosphere was quiet, but we were also here on a Monday so it could be different other days.

The food and service was great. I got a special and paid $10 for a burger and fries. Not sure you can get that at fast food. It's a very casual spot with indoor and outdoor dining. Plenty to choose from on the menu and great drinks also.

really good brunch options! the fried oyster eggs Benedict was tasty but the salad on the same plate was bad plating. Peach cobbler pound cake was decadent and delicious! fried green tomatoes were fresh but portion too big for one person.

This is a place that excels a good chunk of their menu but remember it's a neighborhood bar so manage your expectations. What they do well: most of the breakfast items. The french toast is pretty good for the price and unlike a lot of places around, you actually get meat included as a side instead of ordering a la carte. The sandwiches are mid--you're not going to find the best sandwich of your life but you will find something tasty for an okay price. A burger and chicken sandwich are safe options, but I personally wouldn't do a deli-type sandwich as a native Philadelphian. Finally, the not-so-great. I wouldn't really get any of the salads since they're pricey and honestly just don't do much for me. If you're eating out with someone who needs healthier options, I would just take them somewhere else. All in all, a solid centerpiece for locals and their visitors.

I got to check out this local bar on a football Sunday. The venue has a decent sized bar with plenty of TV's, outdoor seating, and a private dining room area as well. There was a fair amount of customers but not too packed, I was able to get a seat at the bar and they had enough TV's to accommodate all the games that were playing at the time. The brunch menu was available at that time (11-3pm) which features items like smoked salmon benedict, egg white omelets, breakfast quesadillas, and fried chicken and waffles with prices ranging from $15-$20. They also had a game day menu with specials on wings and certain sandwich options. I ended up ordering from the main menu and went with the blackened chicken southwest wrap with a side of tots. Service at the bar was excellent the bartender Jessica was very attentive to all the guests and provided some great recommendations on food and drinks. The food came out quickly, the wrap was delicious, the chicken was flavorful and the added vinaigrette dressing inside was a fitting compliment. I look forward to returning to try out more of the menu items.
