The portions were so small for what the price is. The food is ok at best, but all are foods you can make yourself for a fraction of the price. The place was completely empty when we went, but the server was rude and missing the whole time. We had to flag them down for everything. For how much they are charging, this place is not worth going at all.

After ordering from Bun'd up you'd think I'd just stop there right? My wallet says yes, but my stomach says no! Anyways, I went here with my friends and after we did place our orders in for Bun'd up we sat down at Noonchi and placed our orders in for well. We all ordered different foods to try out so it was pretty much a giant Korean Street Food potluck. The décor is more akin to more of a bar environment. If you like cool neon signs ( although it wasn't on at the time ) and lots of cute framed pictures of Seoul, you're in luck here. My friends ordered various things such as Jeon, Cheesy Corn, Bibambap, and Oxtail Soup.I got Teokbokki because I just craved something savoury after eating down the Baos. Everything came out relatively quick, and the portions are pretty big here! The tteokbokki, soft rice cakes with fish cake and hot dogs ( it was extra ) covered in a spicy red chili sauce... it wasn't overbearly spicy but it will make your nose run if you have never ate this. Water does help cool down the spiciness though.I didn't get to try out the Jeon but the Cheesy Corn, it did live up to it's name. Creamy, it melted in my mouth with a rich cheese flavor! It's always good eating this at any other place that has this. The Oxtail Soup was also really good too, when paired with rice. It was very hearty and the meat was soft and tender. No effort to chew at all either!I didn't get to try out the Jeon but I'm sure it'd be good. Same as the Bibambap.Would I recommend this place? Absolutely. I think you'd definitely enjoy this if you like Korean Street Food!

I ordered delivery again from Noonchi and it was quick and tasty: original Kimbap, sotteok with just the right amount of spicy sauce. Portions of the kimbap seemed significantly smaller than last time I ordered, but I can't complain when they always have a bogo deal running on Ubereats.

Ordered delivery through UberEats and liked the food, would love to try again another time in person. Got the kimbap (beef), galbi (came with rice and kimchi), and sweet soy fried chicken wings (crispy and sweet). Loved everything. For some reason the ubereats service fee was $13 (separate from the delivery fee and tip)! I think it's because this is a new restaurant to the ubereats platform there's a huge setup cost that the restaurant pays to Uber and charging high service fees is one of the ways the restaurant recoups that cost (supposedly most of the service fee goes to the restaurant). When I order a similar $ amount of food from one of the Korean restaurants I always order the fee was only $5. Anyways... won't be ordering delivery again until this restaurant gets more established.

I REALLY wanted to like this place because I love the type of food they serve but it fell short. My partner and I went there for a casual date night and the quality of the food was not on par with the price. The kimbap was delicious, the fried chicken was good, the oxtail soup was not great. it was very bland and came with a ton of broth and only two small pieces of oxtail for $19. For that price I would expect a soup that has more sustenance. It has some serious potential as it is a beautiful atmosphere but the fact that it was dead silent was kind of a mood killer. Not to mention the service was pretty slow. Our waiter was very kind but we only saw them a handful of times.

Food was ok. I shouldn't be getting charged $21 for ribs when it's clear they're using the worst quality meat. Service was the worst though. Waited almost 15 min before seeing an actual employee and then after that she was so casual about helping us even though we were the only table. But she was really good at using her cell phone. Won't be back.

Noonchi has replaced Sparrow Room behind Bund Up. I ordered pickup through Toast to give it a try. They're aiming for more traditional Korean food.Unfortunately the order was 30 minutes late, with a half-hearted apology from the manager who blamed a group that had come in (there were maybe 10 people in the whole restaurant). Also the online menu had pictures that definitely didn't match the food. Most of the food was good, though, and with good portions. The Kimchi Udon and Sotteok were the standouts. The Galbi and Kimbap were solid. The cheesy corn was underwhelming and the Odeng Guk was fishy without much else going on for it.

Really nice ambiance and decor and very street food feel. Absolutely nails it on this front.Food is pretty good and solid. Enough choices to choose from, but not so many it's competing with The Cheesecake Factory.Service is absolutely horrendous. There was never anyone in the seating/bar area. We had to wait like 5+ minutes to place an order, and then the waitress disappeared again until our order came out, even though other groups of people came in and sat down. You can hear a bunch of people in the kitchen, but there is no front of house staff apparently.

I order via Uber eats and the total amount for 3 items (galbi, kimbap, oxtail soup) were roughly $70 before tips and fees. One thing I can say is the amount of food you get does not equate for the mount of money you pay for. You get about 8-9 cut pieces of medium size galbis and one single oxtail. The taste was pretty ok (nothing mind blowing). This was meant to be shard by two people given the price but we ended up having to order additional food since the portions were barely enough to satisfy one person.

This place is just not it. They try to be more of a Korean pocha, street food type of establishment but the empty seats on a Saturday night should have been the first red flag. It seems as though they have a front section of the restaurant and a back section. I was sat in the back. From the back, you can see a cup ramen shelf in the front section, which I thought was cool so when I asked the server if i can buy one, they said that they do not serve that in the back section...so I could not buy one. We ordered the kimchi fried rice, spicy pork stir fry and spicy rice cakes "tteokbokki" and all three were overcooked and not fresh. You can tell that since no one was in the restaurant, the foods have been sitting in the back. Also, the entire time we were there, no one ever came to ask how we were doing until we asked for the check. Definitely will not be going back.
