Really great vegan BBQ salad! I had it Latin style without the sour cream and cheese - so flavorful!! Warning - the fresh jalapeño is super spicy. Paid 12.50 and wished I had bought a water....

An eclectic mix of cuisines, from Indian to Mexican/Central American, with a surprisingly good vegan and vegetarian selection. I like the vegan pulled BBQ bowl made from jackfruit (there is a sandwich version too but the bread is mediocre) and the mixed vegetable crepe. Nook also has a small dessert case that usually has mini cupcakes, convenient for a last minute office party contribution (this is why I first visited it). Located in the Ronald Reagan Building food court, it sits a few steps back from the fray of the food court's main circle and as a result can get overlooked by the conference or tourist group crowd (read: shorter lines!). The portions give you a good amount of food and the staff is always friendly. It's become one of my preferred options in this food court.

The NOOK has really good reviews and I decided to try it. It does not deserve a visit. I came with 40 dollars and I had less than thirty after. The food was really greasy with oil spewing from all sides and the pulled pork wasn't even pulled. There was no extra condiments or sides like Tomato or even lettuce. The only sides they provided were a flimsy bag of potato chips. Their pictures for advertisements were not even their food. I kind of expected more from twelve bucks but I didn't even think I got my money's worth

Great customer service and delicious food. There's a wide variety of food and tones of vegan options. I love this place.

Definitely under-rated spot in the food court. I'd been hesitant because I've never really seen anyone getting food from them. The samosas are pretty spot on and the samosa bowl is a great lunch if you're really hungry. The samosa bowl is rice, two samosas broken up, onion, tomato, and chana with two thin chutneys. It reminds me of papdi chaat: spicy, savory, crunchy, soft, all mixed up. Its solid and delicious. Lots of veg and vegan options.

How do you leave a negative review for a place you've never eaten?? Was it so unsanitary or smelly that it made you turn around? I read the one negative review written by someone who was in a group and no one ate at Nook so why bother leaving a review at all? Was it because they trekked all over to find it?Nook does not do its own reviews so do they need to apologize to people because a reviewer did not mention it's a food court restaurant? So here it is. They specialize in crepes and quesadillas and have a few sandwiches and dessert items. Food is reasonably priced and does a great job with breakfast and lunch. Food is good not great but they haven't had any violations or food poisoned anyone which I can't say the same about the rest of the food court.

Wow Amazing This place never disappoints.I was back in DC for some meetings and decided to go for lunch in the food court. Went to Nook the lady suggested to try the special Salmon Bowl. Really amazing I had it Indian style. It's tasty and lightly spicy and tangy, really good and big portion enough for later snack.reasonably priced compared to other places in the food court. The taste, quality and portions are super.

A wonderful place for breakfast in the Ronald Reagan Building! I got the omelette, which they cook fresh right in front of you with fresh eggs! They have many options for toppings which they add as they make the omelette. Hot sauce was delicious! If I'm in the area again at breakfast, I will definitely come back here!
