I ordered via Uber Eats from DC to McLean and everything was as expected. The tuna crispy rice hit the spot even though it was not hot/as crispy as eating it there. This is a must get! I was violently craving tuna crispy rice and no other place on Uber Eats would compare. Cubed crispy rice in my opinion is much better than a rectangle/bigger piece. It's the perfect bite.Yellowtail jalapeño with the yuzu soy sauce is always perfect. Loved every piece.Miso black cod was alright. It's not the best out there so I'd say go to Shoto or even Rumi's for better cod.

Nobu D.C really disappointed me, I made reservations for my wife's birthday and we had very high expectations for this restaurant. Our reservation was set for Thursday at 6:45 for 4 people, once we arrived we were greeted and escorted to our table. The server arrived and explained the menu to us but then when we asked a question she became very rude and made a comment towards wife that was unnecessary. I had to request a new server because it made my wife uncomfortable. The manager gave us a new server and she was delightful. She was very patient and kind but throughout the meal the previous server would walk by us and give us dirty looks which continued to make us even more uncomfortable. The food was ok, the birthday dessert came out with the wrong name on it but it was delicious. Again I had high expectations for this restaurant but I don't think it met them.

I came in on a Monday night with my sister. It was pretty quiet with a few people there but I guess I expected it to be as lively as the other locations I've been to in NYC. The server was phenomenal and we were serviced well. Unfortunately the restaurant was just dull and is in desperate need of a facelift and a revamp.

Had such a lovely time celebrating my birthday. My favorite was the baked snow crab roll, the lobster taco and of course the flaming wagyu. The wagyu was extremely tender and each piece melted in your mouth. Our waitress was super sweet and the food came quickly.

Our dinner at Nobu was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was clean, modern, and minimalist, which made for a relaxing dining experience. Our waiter, Kith (sorry if I'm spelling his name wrong!), was fantastic--he made some great suggestions and was very kind throughout the night. We started with the shrimp sushi, Brussels sprouts, and fried squid, all of which were incredible. The sea bass miso and lobster and shrimp in spicy lemon sauce were definite highlights--so flavorful and perfectly cooked. To top it all off, we had a whiskey dessert that was equally as good! From the food to the service, everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

Staff were super attentive, always grabbing dishes when they were done or refilling my water. They asked if I had any allergies. I think the best thing I ate was the Wagyu dumplings, crispy rice with spicy tuna and black cod with lettuce (I think that's the name - two bite size). Eel and salmon nigiri was delicious for being so simple. I think the yellowtail jalapeño was a little too sour for my taste, but perfect spice level. The salmon with tartare had a little too much wasabi for my taste. The miso soup and tofu was kind of average for $8 (I'd skip next time). I spent around $540 for 12 things -a lot of Wagyu - and 1 drink (including tip).I sat at the bar/counter Monday night. The bathroom seemed ADA compliant - large. There was music in the background but you could still hear people near you. It wasn't too dark, so I could still see. The chef was so nice. Overall I had a great experience.I parked around the corner (street parking) and paid like $4.

Nobu is fancy, upscale Japanese food. You go here kinda to be seen but also to experience fine dining. It's quality food for sure and great service. Can't go wrong with anything here. I love the lobster roll and the black cod.

This is my third time visiting Nobu at this location. As a vetted costumer, I take advantage of the happy hour at the bar. No need for a reservation, visit from 5:00-6:30pm, parking is 24 dollars for valet. Maybe walk or take a scooter if you're on a budget. No need to dress up too much either, low key dress is the attire. The bartender, Andre, has taken care of me a couple of times, he is kind and so welcoming. He has excellent recommendations and his service is impeccable!!!! This Nobu offers a limited Tenoshi happy hour menu and you can even order from the regular menu as well. Happy hour menu is getting updated August 5th I hear! A good time to visit. I recommend the yellow tail anything, albacore and onion. Everything is spot on so listen to the server's recommended dishes. Just do it, don't worry about the cost, put it on the credit card. Wear your stretchy pants. The vibe is rich but generous snob, so be kind and tip like one.

Went to Nobu for the first time for an anniversary dinner. We were a little early for our reservation, but were seated right away. The host was very friendly as were the servers. We started with drinks. I got the DC Cooler which was great! My husband got a mocktail and said it was a bit too sweet, but overall good. Our server recommended the cold and hot dishes over the sushi, so we tried a little of each. We started with the king salmon with sweet onion as well as the tuna taco and king crab taco. Everything was a 10 out of 10! We then got an order of wagyu dumplings. These were hands down my favorite dish of the night. I would have ordered another round if I wasn't interested in also trying the sushi. My husband had some nigiri and a yellowtail roll. He said everything was delicious. We both had the toro roll which was incredible (the toro roll was his favorite dish of the night). At the end of the evening they provided us with mochi in honor of our anniversary celebration. I thoroughly enjoyed it! While we enjoyed the food, we did note that it took quite a while for all our food to make it to the table and it was hard to track down our waiter at times.
