Its a nice chill vibe, good snacks and an ok drink selection. Bartenders are nice and a little absent minded but in a normal dive bar sort of way.

Named after a biker bar in Florida that served as a front for a bank robber, there's nothing counterfeit about Nice & Easy in Washington, D.C. Down an alley near a taco takeout spot comes a no-frills, accessible bar with plenty of seating and lots of fun. There's a pool table, a juke box, and a small stage. The drink menu is large with $10 cocktails during happy hour Monday-Friday from 5-7 p.m. Outside of that, cocktails are $14 and they have nine. There's draft beer, wine, and other options. They have Bold Rock cider and even a sour. I didn't see a food menu. My friend ordered their paloma and I got the "B*tch On Wheels." Both drinks weren't bad. This place is such a great spot to hang out at and chill. I hope it stays forever.

This is the perfect no-frills, dive bar in DC, which I'm glad that we accidentally stumbled upon. Since Nice & Easy is super close to the red line, I thought was a great pre-party or hang out with a group of friends place. Since the bar is located in an alley next to an auto repair shop, I'm glad that I trusted our GPS walking directions and powered through, because I thought messed up the directions. Walking into the bar, which has plenty of decorations and knick knacks from yesteryear, will take you back to a different time. I thought the bar had an exceptional list of beers and cocktails. For a dive bar, I thought the prices were a bit more than your random run of the mill, hole in the wall dive bar, BUT the beer and cocktail prices are not too unreasonable. The clientele of Nice & Easy seems to be pretty low key and chill. I thought our bartender (a lady with curly dark hair) was WONDERFUL, and she definitely knows how to keep the party going. My very minor issue: Since Nice & Easy uses a catering service for food, you have to open another tab with a different card to order food. Also, you cannot keep a tab open for food. That said, the food prices were very reasonable. Speaking of food, you gotta go with the BBQ nachos because: 1. you will receive a huge portion, and 2. they are AMAZING.

A hidden gem. Hidden because they are located down a back alley, behind Red Bear by the Noma metro. There isn't much indication from the street that anything exists back there but a loading dock. But the place was packed on a Saturday. The best part: live music! Not many places in DC offer that these days, and it was a lot of fun.In back, there is a pool table and shuffle board, so it is good with friends. Not a ton of selection, drink wise, but you can get a beer or High Noon and add a shot for $4. Hard to top that. They have happy hour during the week, too. Worth a visit!

Panko mushroom with lime mayo hit the spot. Pleasantly surprised by the crispy chickpeas and came back for more, and yucca fries. No fuss trays of food and relaxed, comfortable environment with friendly staff.

Nice chill, low-key, and funky dive bar. A hidden gem in the area if you're looking for a dive bar. Service was nice, and food and drinks are pretty cheap and tasty. I tried plantains, which were juicy and flavorful, albeit a bit burnt on the outside. Dirty amarillo salcipapa was very unique and tasty, and the portion was HUGE.

As long as you set your expectations accordingly this place will knock your socks off. Its a neighborhood spot, it's low key, with a great playlist, ice cold beer, friendly staff and a pool table. This is a place you come when you are just looking to have an old school kick back with friends but it's DC and no one has a house big enough. Its the type of place where the bartender learns your order and remembers you the next time you come in. They have a beer pong room with darts in the back. What more can I say, it is 100 percent worth your time to check this spot out, grab some beers and steak tacos and chill out with your friends.

Lots of loud bikers for no reasons. Nothing about this establishment is loud. Except the unnecessary random bikers that show up here from time to time. They play extremely loud music and overly rev their bikes during later times of the night. I'd give 5 stars if they regulated this aspect of the experience. Don't get me wrong I love a great loud music moment. But you can't hear the music here when they're playing theirs over it outside. Like thats what people come here for. Good music and a moment to relax.
