I want to give it a five, I promise I do, but for the price, I have to go with a four. The roll was yummy but I wanted more for the price! The staff is super friendly and plenty of outdoor seating- a few tables inside too. We will go back...

ordered takeout. lobster roll was solid. this is their specialty so if you want a good lobstah, go get it!! a lil pricey but what can you expect for seafood. ehhh didn't love the poke salad- we threw 90% of it away because the fish was a little sus. the wonton crisps were yummy but hard to practically eat when the avocado and tuna was so chunky and big. the roast beef sandwich messed up my stomach. never again

About to relocate so getting in all the VA places I haven't had a chance to hit up or will miss. Also didn't realize this crazy was here, so thanks yelpers!!Service: I walked in and there was a couple ahead of me that was waiting in line and no cashier was there. She walked in while we were waiting with her ice cream. I get it we all have cravings and need a break. Food: prob the most meat I've had on a lobster roll in the area and not filled with shrimp, imitation fillers etc. just straight lobster. It was how I expected it, cold and served on the warm buttery bun. A+I opted for onion strings and definitely a lot for one person. I will say the sauce compliments the saltiness of the strings so make sure you get it. (I had to ask for it, thanks to previous helpers posting the pic) Price: lobster rolls aren't cheap to begin with so $22-28 a roll is expected in this area. Apparently they don't have regular coke cans because the lady in front of me asked twice. Ambience: cute NE deck feel. I dined inside because it's 32 degrees. Very clean inside and a tv to watch football. I would definitely come back when I have another lobster roll craving.

We went to Ned's for lunch and got the Lobster Roll, Crab Roll and truffle fries. Our friends got the Beef Sandwich and Lobster Roll, as well. The roll is a Hawaiian roll and they are heavy handed with their serving of meat in the roll. Really good flavor and felt authentic/classic.They will run you about $27-$35 per roll, so you really could share bc it's a lot of meat. We upgraded our side to the truffle fries, was sooo good and the dipping sauce was good too (likely a garlic aoili). It was a little pricey, but I'll pay for good food. The inside is kind of small, more of a grab n go, with a few bistro tables. The outside patio is very spacious, lots of picnic tables and areas to spread out.

I was really looking forward to trying this place. Easy parking, clean and bright inside, and I was greeted nicely by the gentleman working. I took a few minutes to look over the menu and then ordered a down East chilled lobster roll. Service was great and food arrived quickly as I was on the early side of lunch. Clam chowder was just ok to me, and I truly Love clam chowder. But I just didn't feel like this chowder was anything special. It had a nice smoky bacon flavor, but I thought it was lacking body and thickness. I would have loved for it to have had more potato chunks in it. The Lobster roll looked great, but the flavors to me were just so-so. And given the high price of a lobster roll I thought the value just wasn't there compared to other places offering lobster rolls.

We went to Ned's New England Deck for lunch and ordered the Down Easy Lobster Roll (CT style) ($28.99) and the North Shore Beef ($14.75). Both were delicious! The lobster roll was flavorful and loaded with lobster chunks. The inside of the restaurant is a bit small with approximately 6 tables, but there are a few picnic tables outside to sit as well. The place is cozy and laid-back, and the staff was nice. We recommend checking them out!

We decided to give Ned a try today after reading the reviews. Barry had the fried clam bellies with fries and I had the lobster roll with fried onion strings which was an up charge of $2.00. The service was friendly, informative and quick. The food was hot. I was able to have my lobster roll served with butter rather than mayonnaise which is how I like it. Barry said that the his plate was a generous portion and delicious. We couldn't finish our food. The lobster roll bread was toasted and very tasty, sadly I ate the lobster, and left most of the delicious bread behind. Outside and inside seating was clean and available. We will go again- there are more things on the menu that we want to try. Maybe divide and conquer next time.

The food here is absolutely amazing and the service and staff are so kind. I was skeptical going here because it is a bit pricey but believe me it is worth every penny. They seriously give you so much meat on both the lobster roll and the beef sandwich. Their truffle fries are great and I would recommend giving this place a shot. I got to go but the outdoor area they have seems like a good place to have a family catch up or dinner/lunch with friends. Absolutely give them a try.

While in the area doing some shopping I had a taste for seafood and opened Yelp looking for some recommendations. Up pops Ned's with its stellar ratings so we decided to stop in. After dining at Ned's I must say I 100% understand the high rating!! The service was TOP TIER and the owner/cashier went above and beyond to provide excellent service. From taking our orders, giving us recommendations, preparing the dishes, and clearing the tables he was a Rockstar. The wait for our food was pretty short and it came out fresh. I am generally not a fan of Poke, so the nachos were about 4/5 stars but the Lobster Roll and Fish and chips were both a 6/5! Delicious!! I can literally taste the food while writing this review and I cant wait to get back and try the "other" lobster roll (I forgot the two options but I believe one is warm and one is chilled?). But again the owner was so kind and I know he would gladly give some other great options for the next visit! The location is pretty small but we had no problem finding seats inside. It was pretty fast casual in the sense that most people didn't linger after finishing their food. There was window and outdoor seating which is nice and something I look forward to utilizing once it gets a little warmer outside. Thank you Ned's for a 10/10 dining experience. From the service, to the food, to the location, to the ambiance everything is excellent!

First time, thought restaurant week would be good time to try. Ordered the clam cake appetizer. They were similar to hush puppies, they were dense and chewey, not much flavor, tried malt vinegar on some and the dipping sauce that came with it, a horseradish based sauce, no help. For my main I ordered the Mussels and frite, when they came out no frites(fries), I waited thinking were to come, no luck. I asked about the fries, was told they didn't come with fries, but on the menu it says they did; I didn't want confrontation so I just said no worries, but the counter person said " I didn't tell you, so I'll give them to you" all the while they were sitting on the counter. The mussels were plentiful and in great sauce, a white wine, Lemon and cream sauce, very tasty.Bottom line I would recommend the mussels, definitely not the clam cakes.
