Tasteful decor and a clean place. We were warmly greeted and seated at a table with beautiful flowers. We went for lunch and the service was extraordinary! Our server remembered we wanted to share a couple of dishes and brought an extra roll. The curry and angry noodles did not disappoint. Can't wait to have Thai iced tea again Our to go boxes included an extra serving of rice for our curry and a bag. Can't wait to go back!!

Food was decent. No complaints there. However, have to say the customer service was probably something that will stick with us for a while. Servers were not bad. It was either the manager or the owner itself. Was very disrespectful. Will not recommend and will deter people I know to avoid the place.

I door dashed this so I can't comment on the location or staff but what I can say is the food was delicious!!!I order spring rolls and pad see yew and it was among the best Thai food meals I have had. Even after the delivery the food was piping hot and the spring rolls were still crispy, they didn't get steamed due to the venting in takeout container used.

Beautiful restaurant to check out if you like Thai food! Walked in being greeting with a friendly host. Had an amazing server. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share. And enjoyed everything. Everything was plated so beautifully. Drinks were beautiful as well.

The food was great. I had the papaya salad and I loved the frittered catfish the topped it. It really felt like a gourmet version of som tum. The default spice level was perfect although spice fanatics may want to up the heat a little. The service was very attentive and the ambiance was relaxing and felt upscale for a Thai restaurant. I would def recommend!

A TO-GO LUNCH review update - definitely HiGHLY RECOMMEND MHTB for their reallllly impressive lunch service, lunch specials menu and lunch specials prices!Lunch prices are offered weekdays 11AM - 3PM which is a really impressively long "lunch hour." If you live or work close by, it's definitely worth ordering by phone for pick up (or heading over to eat there). The parking situation is only ever-so-slightly tricky - street parking right in front of the restaurant (on both sides of the street) but if there aren't any open spaces, there's a (free) garage steps away. But honestly, it's totally worth the ever-so-slight parking hassle. MHTB is authentic Thai and THE BEST Thai food in Reston let's be honest. As I said, their lunch specials are decently priced, portion sizes are decent = really good value. LOADS to choose from - all the classic Thai favorites - pad thai, curries, sautéed dishes, pad se ew. The lunch specials come with an app and rice too. Most lunch special entrees are $13 - a bit more for duck or shrimp.Actually. I've been known to order an extra lunch special entree to have for dinner or later in the week. Something for the taste buds to look forward to. :)Their noodle entrees (Pad Se Ew, Pad Thai) don't come with rice (which is the norm) but they give you a whole carryout container filled to the brim - definitely enough for leftovers. The food is consistently delicious, the service is really good (not sure what the other Yelper complaints are all about) and the restaurant itself, though small, intimate and not a ton of inside seating, has the cutest quaintest, charming decor.Currently my most favorite Thai place in the Reston/Herndon area.

I ordered a chicken massaman curry with Thai tea. The massaman curry had potatoes and carrots. It tasted good. The Thai tea had a lot of ice and was very small in size. I probably would order Thai tea elsewhere in the future.

When MHT opened a few years ago, I was ecstatic because it is so close to our house. After several years, we've had the entire menu, and never a misstep. All the Thai classics/staples are hits. I've never had better larb. The ka nom jeeb dumplings are great, and I'd drink the sauce they come with. The fried rice is delicious, with spot-on heat, and will feed you for days. The duck fried rice feels decadent and is so freaking good. Feeling under the weather? Tom Yum or Tom Kha gets you on the road to recovery. The food is obviously a hit, but the service is wonderful and the staff are just so lovely and amazing and helpful. Today, it snowed. Some of the staff had never seen snow, and to see them enjoying it for the first time (all while making sure my order was right and helping me to my car (I'm on crutches), well, it was really something special. They're great.
