My contractor recommended this place to me; so I went. My first impression was not to go in. However, I have found some of the best foods at less than appealing eateries, so I ventured in. It was dark and gloomy. I made my way to the counter. I ordered grits, eggs, and fried fish. I asked for ice tea, but declined when I saw its dispenser self serve area. Let's just say, the whole place needed a bleach cleansing. Although they had a dining area, I ate in my car. The dish was plenty, with no complaints about the eggs and grits. The fish was piping hot, and tasty; but after satisfying my hunger, the fish left a foul taste in my mouth.

I placed a Togo order here. The way the over the phone interaction went I decided to go to Starbucks instead. I was looking forward to going here to patronize our black owned company, but there is no way the woman who answers the phone needs to be this rude and unprofessional.NO THANKS

Im so disappointed! I'm new to the area and was recommended to come here , the moment I approached the establishment I felt uncomfortable and unsure to walk inside by the look from outside , however I still continued inside . Coming inside a guy with normal clothes on looked at me while I stood waiting for service and where to sit , he says " sit down " I looked around and every table was filthy flies swarming the dishes that were not acknowledged . The server in the photo disrespectfully ignored us when I asked where should I sit so I left , wouldn't recommend to anyone !

Ms Nini was our server; very kind and attentive. We stopped in for breakfast. Both for omelettes and were not disappointed. The coffee was piping hot and very good as well. The restaurant itself is chilly right now, with the temps outside being 20 and below. Once you get the coffee, you'll warm right up.

We stopped here for breakfast before running errands on a Saturday morning. So glad we did. When I tell you these meals hit the spot?! Had leftovers for the next morning. Hole in the wall place, that's how I see it, not a bad thing. I liked the bottle juice and cups of ice. After a little time the cups got weak at the bottom. To be fair I took my ice to go so. Great staff. Friendly. Loved the hand written check. Will definitely be back.
