I am just reviewing the food. It was really nice. The servers don't really speak English but I was able to point and gesticulate what I thought looked nice. The shrimp in the creamy soup was delicious and so was the rice and plantains. I went back twice. It was 16.25 for a very large serve of food. I had some leftover for dinner. If you're looking for great takeout, come here.

I'm not sure why the 1-star rating is on here as it refers to this as a place to eat. Morazan has food to go, yes, but where this spot excels is as a neighborhood grocer. Everything is fresh and if you're lucky enough to get homemade tamales or ceviche, you will leave happy happy happy. We walk here at least once a week for bananas, cilantro, avocados, etc. I love this spot!

I've passed here for years now and had yet to enter but I finally ventured inside for the first time.I liked what I saw. The store was clean and the shelves well stocked. What I enjoyed most was that it wasn't as chaotic as Pan Am can be. I like being able to explore the aisle to become inspired and Morazan is conducive to that. There's also a deli with hot food towards the back of the store which I'm sure has some nice options. Lastly and possibly most importantly, they are well-stocked when it comes to Rubbing Alcohol and Peroxide. I repeat, they have isopropyl alcohol and hydrogen peroxide.

Many convenience stores in Washington DC do 90% of their business on Cheetos, lottery tickets, stale pre-packaged donuts, and single-sale booze. This attracts unsavory characters, which attracts bulletproof glass, which doesn't make for a happy shopping experience. Plus, you can't eat too many bags of Cheetos for dinner. That's why I'm so happy to live around the corner from Morazan Grocery, or as we call it, the bodega. The secret: no lottery tickets, no booze. Instead, you can buy: eggsmilk, sour creamorange juice and other juicesdifferent types of bread and rolls canned vegetables and tomato sauce and coconut milk and moreseveral types of pastamany different types of spices CHEAP fresh cilantro, zucchini, broccoli, green peppersyucca, plantains, bananas, sweet corn, potatoesraw meat and seafood cleaning suppliesboxed Jello, pudding, flanice creamsoda pop flour, sugar, bouillon, all your basic staples and much much more! The prices are as good or better than you will get at the Giant down the street, without the 'tude. They also have a counter at the back where you can order take-out food. Everything is clean. The staff is just sometimes a bit grumpy. But there's rarely a line more than one or two people, so you're in and out in a jiffy. If you live in the neighborhood, please stop on by and support this neighborhood gem.

This clean market has a variety of products from the Caribbean, Central and South America. When I first walked in this little establishment I was pleasantly surprised that the market smelled good; no foul smells like at most international markets. This encouraged me to come visit more often and now I'm a regular. I want to start by saying the food here is amazing. There is a takeout section where you can order various hot/fresh dishes. Everything I have ordered here has been delicious. My Fav are the Chicken Subs and the chicken Tamales when I'm on the go. This little grocery store has all the essentials plus fresh produce. I've been coming in here at least twice a month for the last 2 years. The ladies that work at the hot food section are nice and friendly. The cashier Max is very welcoming and very helpful which is awesome when I come shop. Since I'm a non local Caucasian, I've always been treated great here and great Convo with Max. I've always been able to get my , which I believe are the best Avocados in the area. Sometimes this is the only local place I can find spices I'm after when the wife wants to try to cook new stuff. I will definitely continue to shop here and support this spot.
