Set your expectations, this is a hole in wall - then you'll love it!Dropped off mom's car at dealer for service, walked across Arlington Blvd for early dinner.Mom got the duck noodle soup - she could barely finish- under $12 for duck dish!!My veggie casserole wasn't as cheap but full of bright veggies & tofu in light brown sauce was perfect. The service is brisk (again expectations), but for quality AND quantity for price - it's a winner!

We have been to Miu Kee for close to 20 years. It is almost like a hole in the wall kind of restaurant. The specialty is Cantonese type of food. If you are into the regular Chinese restaurant, do not go here. There are many good dishes but we settled on Salt and Pepper Fried Pork Chops, Salt and Pepper Fried Shrimp without shells, Seafood Pan Fried Noodles and Shrimp with Cashew. Sometimes, we get the Beef with Turnips Casserole, Crispy roast pig and ginger Lobster. When in season, their snow pea leaves are really good. I would say they are not always on point. Some days the flavor is off. Yesterday, all dishes were spot on in flavor.Service is like any regular Chinese restaurant. If you speak Cantonese, you will be well treated. Only service complain is their tea cost extra but it is a tea bag tea. On the flip side if you order many dishes, almost unlimited refill on white rice.

I've been going here since the late 90s with my family. Our go-to order is the wonton noodle soup with vegetable & a pound of roast pork. I decided to switch it up this time and get the roasted duck noodle soup. What I like about their noodle soup with both the flavorful broth and chewy egg noodles. Don't worry, the chili and jalapeno was added to my liking, but it comes without

The days of the table menu are long gone now it's like $15+ for the old table menu. Their hours have changed and service never improved. Still loud and nothing updated inside for over 20 years.

Nestled in an unassuming Annandale plaza, Miu Kee is a hidden gem for all who seek the magic of genuine Cantonese cuisine. Stepping into this restaurant is like stepping into a portal to Hong Kong, the air alive with the fragrant sizzle of stir-fries and the comforting murmur of Cantonese chatter. My recent visit was an absolute delight, earning Miu Kee a well-deserved 5-star rating. The extensive menu is a testament to the restaurant's dedication to culinary authenticity. From familiar favorites to lesser-known specialties, Miu Kee caters to both adventurous and traditional palates. I opted for the classic two-item BBQ plate, featuring the iconic duo of char siu (BBQ pork) and siu yuk (crispy roast pork). While the char siu veered slightly towards the dry side, the siu yuk was pure perfection - shatteringly crisp skin yielding to juicy, flavorful meat. The price might seem a bit steep at first glance, but considering the quality and authenticity, it's a cost I'm more than willing to bear. The stir-fried garlic pea sprouts were a revelation. Cooked to a perfect crispness, they boasted an abundance of fresh garlic and a symphony of vibrant vegetables. The savory broth they swam in was like a warm hug for the palate, a testament to the chefs' mastery of simple yet soul-satisfying flavors. But the pièce de résistance, the dish that transported me back to my childhood, was the crispy pan-fried chow mein with chicken and bean sprouts in gravy. Each bite was a nostalgic explosion - the soft noodles absorbing the rich gravy, the tender chicken adding a savory counterpoint, and the bean sprouts offering a delightful textural contrast. It was a dish that transcended taste and became a memory, a culinary comfort blanket on a plate. The service at Miu Kee was just as impeccable as the food. The staff, friendly and attentive, added to the welcoming atmosphere, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.Miu Kee is not just a restaurant; it's a window into a vibrant culinary culture. The dedication to authenticity, the quality of ingredients, and the masterful execution of traditional Cantonese dishes combine to create an experience that is both delicious and deeply satisfying. So, if you're looking for a taste of Hong Kong in the heart of Northern Virginia, make your way to Miu Kee. You won't be disappointed. My 5-star rating speaks for itself, and I urge you to discover your own Cantonese culinary haven at Miu Kee.

I came here last week and we enjoyed our food. It was a little salty, but nothing white rice can't fix. I would definitely give them another shot. We had congee, dry beef chow foon and fried garlic chicken.

I feel like this place is a whole in the wall. I've been here since I was a kid, multiple times and I was very popular back then. Now it's kind of being forgotten. There are 3 dishes that I like to order here and it's always so savory. Inside definitely does need a little love and revamp but it's nostalgic. It has a very traditional style with lots of seat for families to eat together.
