I broke off the leg to add with the veggies and forkful of the rice. What's up with the black beans...ugh!

I have never been to this restaurant before so this review is just for the quality of the food from a delivery order. I got the quarter jerk chicken with rice and beans. It. Was. Amazing. Oh my gosh. I did not expect to finish it all in one sitting because it's is a very late day, and I didn't think I would eat that much tonight. But oh my. I did. It was delicious. I was super skeptical because of the poor overall rating on here and GHub, but if every order is like this, yeah...I'd order again. The delivery driver did not call me and left my food outside on the ground in front of the door, so I did not appreciate that. The food was so awesome. They just need to improve their service, I think (in this case).

A DC institution, even after a fire that burned it down lol, Mister Rotisserie is the place that is ever reliable. Where else can you get a rotisserie chicken - at 3 AM?

It's 1.25.19 and I used my Amazon restaurant promo code and ordered, for the 1st time, from Mr. Rotisserie. The delivery fee was $4.49The delivery time was a right at an hour, which I did not disapprove because it's lunch time and I expected the traffic to be challenging. I ordered a half chicken with rice and mixed veggies (comes with two sides) and there were black beans that accompanied the meal, but why as I don't like them and I did not ask for it. For my lunch hour, I grabbed the leg, as indicated in the photo, to eat with the veggies and when I opened the container, the veggies were portioned for a 4 yr old!!The chicken was mediocre - it lacked the rotisserie flavor that I was expecting and it was dry; the veggies were underwhelming with a greasy film; the rice was not properly seasoned but I was given a better portion than the veggies. The before veggie photo was what I actually received (I promise I did not eat the veggies before taking the picture). Based on my lackluster review, I will not order again from Mr. Rotisserie.

Delicious whole rotisserie chicken w tender breast meat that tears easily and mixes so well with the sauce they provide. The green creamy sauce is spicy good. With the New Years 2019 $5 coupon code it was $13 including tax tip. Good deal considering it feeds my wife and I for two meals. We supplemented our meal with our own sides from home. Ambiance is not what you pay for, just the food. Very polite thoughtful owner server. Picture of chicken from restaurant. Sides were home made.Recommend highly if you like a juicy chicken. High protein low fat low carb as long as you lay off the skin. The meat is tasty plenty without the skin. Wouldn't want anyone to get a heart attack from animal fat.

If I could rate this place no stars I would. I normally don't like to leave negative reviews but I just couldn't get over how bad my order was. Out of 3 things I ordered there was only 1 thing right. They gave me the wrong dessert. But what was the worst was the rotisserie chicken was raw. On the skin there were feathers left. FEATHERS. I could see they hadn't been plucked away. I thought I could get over it but when I kept pulling the chicken apart it was PINK. I was so disgusted.

If you live in the Petworth/Georgia ave area and are craving for great Spanish food with a fusion of traditional American this place should be IT! The food is oh so delicious and fast delivery (i used Grubhub) But what sets this place apart from the rest is their 10 star service add that with great food you have the holly grail of delivery.Called in extremely hungry and sick not mention high. Didn't even know i was craving for what i ordered which was their works pasta with shrimp/chicken/steak like i said spot on! Whoever came up with the dish must of had the munchies as it is the best munchies dish i had, the portion was perfect the flavor was beyond what i was expecting from a small neighborhood spot! Kudos to the chef!!Also this whole experience would have not been made had it not been for MAX! Best customer service i have ever received from anyone in the restaurant/hospitality industry that says a lot about the level of GREATNESS this man is! He truly made my night even gave me my beloved lime! MAX i don't know who you are but "Me love You Long Time!!" Thank you for the delicious food and exceptional service if Max isn't the owner the owner should A. Location, location, location. This two or three block of Georgia Ave. is really coming up in the world, with the handful of new food and drink options with more to come. I'm a fan because they are all small business, not selling the same old same old and that is refreshing to see. What used to be a corner store has now been spruced up as Mister Rotisserie.I have been trying to eat less and less chicken, not with the goal eliminating it from my diet, just getting down to 20 times a year, tops. I wanted to try Mister Rotisserie, but I had to wait. I waited until one sunny Friday around lunchtime. The guy who runs it was really cool. He can talk about any and everything. I had taken a paper to read with me but ended up not getting around to it on the account of conversation. Under different circumstances I would have preferred my paper but with the new business, new customer dynamic I was fine with postponing the news(paper). I liked that I was a person and not just a customer, so respect for that. The food was...aight. I know they were just starting out. So I on go the kid gloves. I mean, I will say I did not like the sauces. I did like that they had Yuca and Plátano. My last Rotisserie experience had me eating White Rice and Fries as sides. Boooo! My suggestion would to do something where the smell of Chicken on the rotisserie bellows up and down Georgia Ave. That's more inviting and a lot of taste is smell. I don't know the percentage but it is. I will be back to try the wings but since I am abstaining, that will be awhile. Good luck until then.

I would consider this Peruvian-American fusion eatery a great place to eat if you're looking for a good mix of comfort food. The rotisserie is juicy rice and beans are great and options are good.It feels very authentic and not too done up. Also has fun owners. Kisses, the wife of the owner is awesome. If you're looking for a romantic upscale restaurant then go somewhere else. Consider this Pleasant Plains' and Park View's neighborhood joint.

Ok, so I keep bragging about Sardis as the best rotisserie chicken. My brother, more of a local spot expert (he's like a walking Cityscape page for DC, I swear) wanted me to try it here to see how they compare. Its open until 4-5AM, so I already liked it based off that, but I still needed to try the food. We came in at 9:30 on a Saturday night and it was a decent crowd given the somewhat isolated nature of the location. The inside isn't the nicest looking, but I'm not picky on that so I'll deal. It's a few tables and chairs scattered in a deli-looking space. There probably used to be a deli here or something, idk. I paid $14 total for a half chicken with rice/beans and plantain. The chicken portion was generous, as were the rice/beans. There were 4 plantain as a side, which costs $4 a la carte, so you take that as you want. The chicken was juicy, but I felt like it could have had some more char and flavor to it. The beans were ok and the rice was as well. The sauces it came with were both watery and not as spicy as I'd like. The service was nice though. Sadly not too impressed overall, but I love rotisserie, so maybe my standards are a bit higher than the average. Food: 6/10Service: 5/5Ambiance: 3/5Value: 3/5Overall: 17/25
