While in the neighborhood, decided to head to Millies for a late lunch. Parking is limited but there was plenty of seating in the large eating area. Decided on the Salmon salad and fried Brussel sprouts. I have a shellfish allergy and My server Kelly came after my food was delivered to say, my food was cooked where shellfish was being prepared. Her honesty and integrity may have saved me from a hospital visit. She found me and alternative meal and even asked me if I needed an EPi pen. I will forever be a patron!Fyi...The ice cream was amazing!

Finally got myself to Millie's after thinking about it the entire summer. Was surprised to see the outside patio bumping after a day of rain. Thursday nights are still thirsty I guess. Looked like a great spot for the slightly older crowd to hit for some social drinks. Inside, there were a lot more families dining. It was a lot quieter and easy to have a conversation. Still, plenty of large tables for groups, and smaller tables for date night. My boyfriend got the clam chowder to start, and we split the fried zucchini. It was delicious! Lightly battered, perfectly crisp, very hot, and not very mushy! It retained its crunch through leisurely snacking. Loved that it wasn't heavily batteredWe each ordered quesadillas for dinner. They were very stuffed! We probably could have split one order. I got the shrimp option, and my boyfriend got the lobster. Shrimp quesadilla was great! Nice shrimp. Good flavor. Solid salsa. The lobster quesadilla had some nice chunks of lobster, but flavor wise was a not it for me. My rum punch- delicious. Will definitely be back to try more !!

Bar & restaurant with both indoor & outdoor seating, serving up a menu of classic American food & drinksI came here for dinner with a friend and the place was packed. Fortunately we were still able get in with just a 15 minute wait, but the space was still very loudMenu is primarily comprised of apps, salads, tacos, quesadillas, and entrees. Cocktail menu is pretty extensive.I got a "blueberry lemonade" (in quotations because of the addition of vodka) and a chicken quesadilla. It was all prepared very quickly, was a very generous portion, and was very tasty as well. Very friendly waiterLooks like they may have an ice cream window outside, but I didn't get a good enough look to say so definitely

A great energetic neighborhood vibe with a diverse menu, great service and yummy food! Marjorie was our server and she was wonderful. We had various tacos and sandwiches, plus the shrimp/oyster starter and biscuits with jam. Everything was wonderful -- very impressed with how perfectly cooked and chilled the shrimp were. Lots of thought goes into the sides too -- the bean salad and mixed rice that accompanied the mains were delish. Decor is charming. Staff were plentiful and attentive. Only wish is for salt and pepper on the table. The tacos could have used a bit, and we all like black pepper on our raw oysters.

It's okay but really would suggest you go elsewhere if you can. Food was alright but what really turned us off is being charged for 2 small pieces of crositini to go with the burrata because they only provide 2 to begin with anyways. Over priced and doesn't really feel like you get a great return on it. Service was not great either.

I did that they could take a big group reservation. We were 15 people and they were able to provide separate checks. Ryan was very efficient in taking our orders. I got the riptide, which was amazing and the potstickers. While I liked the sauce, it was a little overpowering. The meat was also cooked variably inside-my first potsticker had a little bit of pink and the last one I ate was a tad overcooked and tough. They were pork and shrimp, though I only tasted pork. Loved my drink and will come back for more!

I wonder why reviews are so low. We thoroughly enjoyed this place. I thought the lobster roll was yummy and refreshing -- you can get it hot or cold. Cole slaw was okay. The clam chowder was very tasty. Service was fine, we didn't have to make a reservation surprisingly but we were there in between lunch and dinner prime times. It was still pretty packed though.

Our recent outing to Millie's was truly enjoyable. The service stood out--our server was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had a great experience. The kids' menu offers generous portions, and my child loved the burger, which was just the right size and full of flavor. I opted for the heirloom tomato sandwich, and it was both refreshing and delicious. The restaurant's nautical Cape Cod ambiance added a charming and relaxed vibe to the meal, making Millie's a top pick for a family-friendly dining experience that offers something for everyone.

Had heard great things about this place and it seemed like a perfect midpoint between my Bethesda and my friend's Arlington home. It was a gorgeous day and we sat outside at a hightop table. Service started out slow and got slower. Our waiter (who didn't have a name tag and or introduce herself so I have no idea what her/their name is) took our drink, appetizer and main dish orders and literally "left the building," without saying goodbye. After we got our appetizers, we waited, waited and waited some more for our entrees. Others around us were eating, finishing their meals and leaving and we were still waiting to be served. After what seemed like an eternity (we arrived at 3 and it was 4:40) I asked a busboy for our waiter, and no one came. I caught the eye of nearby waiter Niki and when I asked for our wait person she shared that their shift had ended and that they were gone for the day. It was news to us and no one took over to help us when they left. So unacceptable. I asked for the manager, our meals mysteriously appeared and Duncan came over. Manager Duncan apologized profusely for the big lapse in service and offered to comp the food we had not received before we expressed concern. An interesting suggestion to cover what we were still waiting for. To make matters worse, my friend ordered a ginger sangria from the happy-hour menu from Duncan and when I asked for the same drink from Niki she told us that the ginger sangria was not actually being served yet. On the menu and not a real option. What? My friend was served the summer sangria assuming it was ginger. When we asked Duncan about the ginger one she ordered, he again apologized and said that he'd made a mistake--that it wasn't available. At this point we were truly perplexed. The swordfish kabob was tasty and the goddess sauce had a nice little kick. The duck lettuce wraps were not actually wraps as described on the menu but a salad w marinated duck pieces tossed in. Although flavorful, the duck meat was tough (overcooked). The shrimp mango salad was mediocre (the salad greens used were bitter and I could not taste the Asian dressing) the mahi mahi and the steak tacos were both dry. My friend and I will need to find another meeting spot. We were charged for the food and drink that had arrived before we complained. Maybe it was an off day. And I don't intend to retry to find out.

Dining room noise was deafening on a Thursday night at 6:30, so we were moved to a picnic table in the "foyer," which worked out fine. Food was good and delivered promptly; cocktails were appropriately stiff. Our server [Luca] is a real pro. Beware of 3% "Initiative 83" fee - very annoying.
