Came by for lunch with the group since we were a block away for a meeting. It wasn't busy during the lunch hour. A few folks dining in but not really. Probably more popular after work for drinks. It's beautifully decorated. I ordered a salad with crab cake while other in my group either got burgers or salad with chicken. Everyone seemed to enjoy everything! The staff did a great job accommodating all of us. We did wait a bit for food, but there were a lot of us. Bathrooms are located in the hotel that it's connected to. Clean, and all genders. They even had a wall explaining why they do that and definitions. Pretty cool!

Visited for an early Friday night dinner. We were quickly seated in the front dining area. The service was prompt and courteous. The menu is not expansive but has several interesting options. We tried the crawfish linguine and Moroccan lamb burger. The portion of the pasta dish was surprisingly petite but the Moroccan lamb burger was a healthy size with a big portion of French fries (which were delicious). The burger itself sat on bun that was soggy and hard to pick up with my hands so I used utensils to eat it. The non alcoholic cocktails were delicious and flavorful (the razzle dazzle is on the more sweeter side). Overall the dining experience was good. $$There is paid street parking nearby

Michele's is a nice restaurant in a great venue. Eaton DC is a multi-faceted hotel that offers a modest number of hotel rooms, work space, a dope roof top lounge/club, and one of DC's most popular Speakeasy's (Allegory). We went to grab a nice dinner before going to the aforementioned Allegory. Michele's is a solid restaurant. The menu is limited but what we had was good. She had the salmon and I had the crab cakes. Neither was great but good. The Charbroiled Oysters were delicious but you only get 4. I'd rather they up the price from $16 to $20 and give us two more. Michele's is located in the front of Eaton, so in the winter months, you may have to keep your jacket on because it gets a little cold if you're seated near the door like we were.Service was good, even though our server was also one of the bartenders doing dual duty. Again, as far as casual hotel restaurants go, Michele's is definitely a nice dining experience, however, if you're not staying at Eaton or going to Allegory, it's not special enough to make the busy DC trip.

Michele's was...ok. Pretty disappointing if I'm being honest. I can see now why it doesn't have 4 stars despite the nice ambiance and interesting menu. (Shoulda trusted my Yelp fam and gone elsewhere!). I enjoyed my meal enough, but it's definitely not someplace I'll be rushing to go back to.I happened to visit during restaurant week, and as a result, they had a special restaurant week menu ($55 a person for 3 courses: starter, main, and dessert) that was basically the primary available option. There were a few a la carte options available outside of this, but minimally so. I asked -- before even requesting a table -- whether it'd be possible to sub one of their usual starters (I'd been eyeing the potato and black truffle flambée) for the starter course. They assured me that'd be no problem, which I appreciated.Anyway, I sat down and ordered my three courses, namely: the flambée to start, the orecchiette winter pasta for the main, and the chocolate pot de crème for dessert. When the flambée arrived, it seemed like a tiny serving (about half of the serving size I was seeing on Yelp, which was already pretty modest), but I wasn't sure if I was just imagining things. Eventually when my waiter came by, I asked him about it. He then admitted that they gave me a half portion and mumbled something about a special menu. I could tell he didn't want to elaborate so I left it at that, but honestly felt a little deceived. It wasn't a huuuge deal, but it would have been nice to have a heads up about them halving the portion size. It felt like they were cutting corners hardcore and my waiter's [evasive, flippant] attitude made it worse. The same thing kind of happened again when I got the check. I was inexplicably charged more than the restaurant week price. When I pointed this out to my waiter, he goes "yeah, okay" and went to go get me an updated check. No sorry my bad, no nothing. I wondered if it was on purpose, hoping I wouldn't notice?I'd give the service in particular a 2/5: It wasn't rude or anything, it was just...incredibly disinterested. Or, on second thought, maybe it was a little rude. I wasn't offered a water refill or asked how my meal was a single time. No welcome upon entering, no thank you upon leaving. It kinda felt like a fast casual place...which would be fine if they were charging fast casual prices. At a place like this I'd expect better. And the food a 3/5:- the potato and truffle flambée was my favorite item; tasty, flavorful- the orecchiette was decent; the pasta was definitely overcooked, but the sauce and ingredient combo was nice (and they didn't skimp on the meat)- the pot de crème I could've done without; it was way too sweet and for this reason I didn't feel like finishing it despite how much I love chocolate TL;DR -- Enjoyed the starter, otherwise not impressed with the food. Ambiance was nice. Service was meh. Integrity, somewhat questionable. Very unlikely to go back and would hesitate hardcore to recommend.

I was traveling for business by myself when I ate here. The atmosphere was really nice, and it was really quiet. The food was good and the service was really great. I had oysters and truffle fries and they were both delicious. You couldn't beat the location, it was right near everything I needed to be near.My only complaint is the price. It was pricey for what it was.

Looks nice inside but not worth it. Terrible experience from start to finish. The place felt unclean and unwelcoming, the food was tasteless and overpriced, and the staff seemed uninterested in helping. Won't be coming back!

Nice place for dinner! I've been here a few times and the food is always tasty. This time I ordered the fried chicken sandwich which was probably my favorite thing I've had! The fries were also pretty good but got cold pretty quickly. Overall though really enjoy and will be back!
