SOOOO GOOD!! The portions are HUGE. The pasta was so yummy after a long day walking in Alexandria. The wait was 2+ hours but we sat at the bar area for no wait which worked great for a quick and fun lunch. Our waiter was great and very attentive, giving recs, asking for allergens, etc. Definitely a splurge but a good meal!!

Mia's bottomless brunch is worth all the hype and more!$32 gets you access to some of their most popular lunch and dinner entrees , as well as a few breakfast items like Italian toast, egg scrambles, bombolinis, and more. I went with a big group to celebrate a birthday and service was absolutely flawless. They had us each order one dish each round and that was a great opportunity to share dishes and try a little bit of everything off the menu.Table favorites included: rigatoni al funghi, shrimp fra diavola, the proscuitto and fig pizza, and the funghi and tartufo pizza. My husband has also brought home a few pizzas for takeout in the past and I can honestly say they survive the twenty minuted rive from Alexandria to Vienna well.A latte to end a filling brunch was the perfect way to end the meal. I'll definitely be back!

I am still thinking about Mia's Cobb salad.... best salad I ever had!My 4 girlfriends and I went to Mia's for a girl's night. We got 2 salads, 2 apps, 2 pizzas, and 2 pastas and it was the perfect amount of food for the 5 of us. Everything was so so so good and the service was great as well. Trendy atmosphere made a great space for a date night or a night out with friends. We all really enjoyed our evening at Mia's and would certainly go back!

We ordered the bruschetta again this time around, so crispy agarlicky and topped with tomatoes absolutely perfect. The Bronzino was amazing! Such a large portion, and extremely flavorful. The tomatoes and capers were such a perfect accompaniment.

Mia's just may have the best bottomless brunch (for food) in the DMV! The restaurant is large with 2 levels of seating and outdoor seating when the weather is nice. The menu features a healthy variety of options, but don't expect the "typical" brunch menu items as this is an Italian restaurant. For example, the Italian French toast is more of a bread pudding than actual French toast. However, they do have a couple of egg scrambles on the menu, as well as a brunch pizza, so you can get some form of eggs and bacon. Brunch is limited to 2 hours once seated, which is standard. If you're in the mood for drinks, you also have the option of getting mimosa flights as well as ordering pitchers of sangria or a drink off of the cocktail menu. They have some sort of weird rule where you can only order a number of plates equal to one less than the number of people in your party at a time. What if you only have a table of 2 - you're only allowed to place an order for one brunch item at a time? I understand they likely do this to eliminate food waste, but this is a bit awkward if it's a large group that has different tastes and doesn't want to share their food. I'm hoping they change that rule in the future. Besides that, our server was nice and attentive. We also had a slight snag during our visit, but the manager on duty at the time did make up for it. My favorites from the menu were the giant meatball, strawberry and arugula salad, brunch pizza, and prosciutto & fig pizza. All of the items are quite heavy, but there are a few lighter items on the menu as well, so there is something for everyone on this menu. Overall, everything tasted great and came out warm, and I am looking forward to coming back.

On a weekend night, look to place a reservation for ease and less wait time. This place is bustling. Lots of space for seating as there were two levels. We got a nice table by the window. We ordered the rigatoni al fungi, pasta alla zozzona, and the chicken parm pasta as well as both sangrias. If you are a mushroom lover, definitely get the rigatoni! I highly recommend as a self proclaimed fungi fan. Out of the two sangrias, the Italian was our favorite.Service was meh. Looking back, it was a weekend evening so granted it was busy. However, our server made little pit stops to check on us. When we needed the check, we waited an additional 15 minutes since nobody was checking on us. The cherry on top was when the cheese she grated for our pasta wound up in our drinks. yuck.

During our most recent trip to DC, a bottomless brunch was a must! After doing some Instagram research, we settled on Mia's Italian Kitchen. When they had a reservation available on Open Table for the perfect time, it was a done deal.We ordered a round of drinks before we put food in. I ordered the Mia's Rossini, and my boyfriend ordered the Venus Punch. They were both classic brunch cocktails and helped all the carbs go down well. We had a Commanders game to go to afterwards, so we limited ourselves to the one drink. Like the healthy humans we pride ourselves to be, we started the meal off with a Classic Caesar salad. Next came the Mia's Signature Meatball Benedict, which set the bar very high for the rest of the meal. The meatball was so soft with beautiful sauces in the runny yolk of the poached egg and the hollandaise. The crispy polenta cake added some great texture too. Next we ordered the Bucatini Cacio e Pepe and Burrata. Both dishes were fantastically creamy, and we played with the thought of ordering a second round of both but decided against it in favor of something different. On the savory side we ended the meal with a couple pizzas (brunch and chicken & artichoke) and Rigatoni alla Bolognese. The pizzas are a reasonable size like a personal pan pizza, so it's easy to split a couple different types if you're torn on which one to order. Personally I preferred the chicken & artichoke over the brunch pizza. The Bolognese was perfect as to be expected. Even though we were too full to order dessert, we are gluttons for punishment. We ordered the House Made Donuts. The sweetness was welcome after all the savoriness. I'm not a huge fan of ricotta, but I enjoyed it in a desert application. The crème anglaise was also a perfect dipping sauce. If you're looking for a bottomless brunch, look no further than Mia's Italian Kitchen.

A recent Mia's experience prompted me to take time to review this amazing restaurant. You can rarely get a reservation here, and I made one for an anniversary meal. Not only was the food incredible, but the managerial staff treated us like royalty and gave us a super special table and complimentary champagne. I will absolutely be coming back again and again. I had never been upstairs because I love the vibes in the downstairs area, but upstairs was not only quieter, but felt more romantic, and more like your grandmother's kitchen. As a 2nd generation italian, the food was so authentic and came out quickly and was piping hot! The freshness and authentic recipes are worth the wait if you can't get in right away, and truly the service can't be beat. The service staff seems truly proud to work there and everyone has a smile on and ready to welcome you. Thank you for a fabulous anniversary I will never forget. See the pics of all we had! (4 pics wouldn't upload :-( .)

The restaurant left me with mixed feelings. The food was absolutely amazing--delicious, beautifully presented, and fresh! The interior and atmosphere were cozy and beautifully designed, making it a lovely place to spend time. However, the service was disappointing: the staff forgot to bring some of the dishes we ordered and didn't keep an eye on refilling our water glasses. If the service matched the quality of the food and ambiance, this place would be perfect.
