Ethiopian food is always a great choice. Especially when you're trying to stay fit and healthy. We ventured here last night to celebrate my husband's Aunt and Uncles for 31 years marriage! Such a blessing-& joyous occasion. The food was good! My husband's family was coming off a fast, so they wanted to enjoy all the meat platters whereas I just wanted BEYANATU (which is all the veggies) :))).The meat was good and seasoned well. The onions on the tibbs were just so delicious!!! They had this chargrilled taste to them that really made me want more of them! Hahaaaa!!! And my veggie platter for 1 was pretty tasty as well. It was busy and very loud. I guess that's what's expected for a Saturday night. At 8pm, they even had a band play and gave a shout out to our guests of honor followed by a complementary bottle to toast the occasion. Our server was a little slow and needed quite a few reminders of our orders. But all in all, the food and experience was good.Happy Yelping!

An incredible unassumingly pleasant restaurant with excellent food and service. Beef tibs and combo vegetarian platter is the go to. Lamb tibs were not my favorite. Will most definitely be back!

I knew that I made the right choice to try Meda when the food was served. The aroma of the platter was the first thing that I noticed. The food was delicious. The restaurant is casual. Although its name suggests that it is a coffee shop, Meda has a full bar and plenty of seating.

The restaurant is very clean and ambience very European. Right away the manager greeted us with a smile and server came right away before we could look at the menu. The food was very good Ethiopian, compared to other top Ethiopian restaurants I've eaten at. Its obvious they want good reviews and they got one from me

Decent food. Decent price. Decent atmosphere. Outstanding coffee! Unfortunately, it kinda feels like: If you don't look a certain way - you don't get the same joyful and welcoming treatment.

I just got coffee but this place was so cute definitely will be back to try the food and will recommend to my friends... they just opened about two months ago the bar is the said!I got an iced latte with caramel and they have oat milk!!!

We were visiting from out of town, looking for a good cup of coffee, but stayed for lunch. I don't know if we've ever had Ethiopian food before but it will not be the last time. Our food portion was large enough to share. We had the Kuantan fir fir. A type of beef jerky stew. So flavorful. Oh yes the coffee was strong and smooth. Food is eaten with hands like Moroccan not too hard.

Meda Coffee & Kitchen offered a great experience for Ethiopian cuisine. The food and service were great on our visit when we dropped in from out of town. Our group was a party of eight. We double ordered all the following the vegetarian combo, tibs and kifto. Everything was excellent. Our server Yordanos provided us with excellent service. She kept our drinks refilled and kept the ingira coming.I would definitely recommend this place, and I would visit again if I am in town.

My first experience was great and the food was really amazing! If I come back again I will order tibs. Yordanos was respectful and friendly. She gave me a good service. Five stars

Ethiopian cuisine is one of my favorites and I was excited to try this place more conveniently located in my neighborhood. However for my takeout order the staff were not friendly nor welcoming (they seemed irritated and short taking my order over the phone and even hung up on me before asking my name or giving me any estimate of how long it would take and when I went in for pick up the staff were sitting together at a table appearing to be socializing with food and drink and I got the distinct impression I was bothering and interrupting them; no hello/thank you/and I ended up waiting anyways as if they forgot to put in my initial order). Because my experience was overall unpleasant I will not be returning (food was just okay...my favorite is Das in Georgetown).
