MD International Halal Meat Store

Back in 2020 I bought a large can of powdered milk. When I got home I discovered it had expired a year earlier.I was never refunded or given a store credit. I continued to shop here out of convenience. ( I go to the Indian store next door which is excellent)The Valabreso French feta I bought last week had rusted container. This is toxic, can cause botulism and kill you. I left my number and urged the person working there to have the owner, Ahmed, call me and pull the rusted feta cans off the shelf.Not only did he not call, he told his employee not to give me a store credit, refund me or pull the bad cheese off the shelf.Shop at your own risk and know that the owner does not appear to be interested in the well being of his customers.... I found a clean, pleasant and less expensive place across the street, asadur.

Stopped in to purchase ground beef and was pleased with the selection of other offerings from overseas. Special thanks for the staff carrying my case of Vimto to my car!

First time there cuz I was recommended to go there for fresh brisket and some middle eastern dishes...The store us very clean and neat, lots of middle eastern products, fresh meat cut upon ordering. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Great selection of spices, beans, rice, tea, and many other Middle Eastern ingredients at good prices. Very friendly staff, and clean and well organized store, though shop smells weird because of the meat.

I'm married to a Indian American who liked to make excellent food that includes lamb, goat and a chopped whole chicken. This is one of the few places that sells these meats at a reasonable rate. We like the staff, they are a friendly family owed business.

New to the wheaton/silver spring area and I have been looking for a butcher/meat store where I can buy whole beef ribs and other products that aren't very common. Usually I would expect to drive 45 minutes to find same day specialty cuts and I was so excited to be able to walk in and order an entire rack of beef ribs with no issue. Quick, easy, efficient. Definitely recommending to everyone I know.I literally posted their business card on my personal social media accounts because I was so excited to have found this store. 100% will be back. Also priced very fairly!

Coming to MD International Mart is a joy ride for me, being away from home and having to experience the hospitality of Ibraheem, Ahmed and Elyas brings happiness to my face every visit. They have top notch quality halal meat it's the best I had in the whole DMV area, not to forget their collection of spices that fit each culture, the diversity in the origin of their products all well selected by the people working there. I always recommend this place and will always recommend it to friends and family!

I have come here a few times now to get some goat meat. They do an excellent job cleaning up the meat and cutting it up into stew sizes. They have a good selection of meat cuts to pick from. But the money is in the trimming of the fat and they do an excellent job at it. They are a tad bit pricier than other stores but they make it up with the good meat quality and cleaning up of the meat.

I have been buying chicken/beef from this market for quite some time. The butchers are amazing. Once you become a regular customer, they know exactly what you are looking for and they customize your order. I would never buy chicken/beef from anywhere else. The service is excellent. I highly recommend this market.

Meats are superior quality and they are very friendly and solicitous. I get all of my meats here now, especially lamb and beef.
