One of my friends I enjoyed a nice girls night at the Mayflower. We went during the summer when there was a special menu. We had so much food and all it was sooo good. We had a spicy/hot shrimp topped with feta, spanakopita, salmon with black rice, crème brûlée and 4 drinks total.. they were so good. The service was great. The waiters were amazing and took great care of us!

Hubby and I had a lovely date night at the Mayflower Restaurant and Lounge, enjoying their Spring prefixed menu. The food was well-seasoned, flavorful, and very tasty. The atmosphere was perfect for a romantic evening or a fun night out.

Called in to order and it was ready when I arrived at the 15 minutes they mentioned.Small place but the have a few seats inside to eat. They were not available due to COVID.Very nice lady answered phone. When I arrived, she went to pack my food.I ordered lemon chicken. Lemon sauce was very lemony and not as sweet as some places. The chicken was fried and it had a wonderful crunchy batter. Definitely big enough for two.I ordered chicken fried rice which was not very tasty. It was rice, onions, sprouts, and chicken. There were no spices so rather bland. I ended up putting lemon sauce on it. I wouldn't order it again.Egg roll was fried crispy and tasted fresh.Hot and sour soup was great. It was a nice warm up during the chilly evening. I will definitely come back but not order fried rice.

The purpose of this review is solely to refute Mike B's review which is entirely bogus. Yelp refuses to take his totally fabricated review down. Mayflower is a local takeout Chinese restaurant. It does not take reservations, does not have a host, does not have seating or tables, and does not have a bar. Mike B's review cites all of these. Please tell me why Yelp can allow disparaging comments about nonexistent items and services without basic fact checking.

This is the worst food I purchased Shrimp Egg Food Young the dark brown sauce tastes like the scraped an iron skillet of flour and water (burnt). After trying to call back several times I finally got through and was forward to the manager where I informed him of the issue for him to say bring it back and they will redo the gravy. NO! I would like to order a new menu item, as he insisted, he didn't understand because this was the first complaint they have ever. I finally got them to agree to substitute my dish for something else. So, I asked for Shrimp & Broccoli to learn from a colleague that I will get an entire bush of broccoli and 3 shrimp along with a bed of rice. Please believe I am NEVER patronizing this spot again and I will share with my organization to NOT purchase from them either. Instead, I'm going to get a refund. The location smells and not updated either. A colleague went to get the initial food.
