I love this place, every time I go the food is delicious. Make a reservation because the walk in wait is long!

OMG... this place is amazing in all categories. The location is hot, the decor sparkling, and the food is off the chart. I can't believe I found an all day breakfast place; and it was good. I ordered chicken, eggs, and home fries. Although the place was packed, my order arrived fast. The chicken and eggs were real. Yeah, real chicken and eggs. Everything was well seasoned. This is a keeper.

So glad we made a reservation. Didn't have to wait. Others, were just seated after we were done eating, talking, and drinking; I had my first "Bloody Mary" EVER!Service was great. Ambiance fantastic. Customers, trendy. Food, fantastic. I highly recommend.

Perfect Sunday morning meal! Matt & Tony's has been on my list for a while but it's hard to get a reservation and walking in is not a good idea! We visited right after church and earlier than our usual brunch time but the restaurant was still packed! The restaurant isn't too large but they find a way to squeeze as many people in as possible. The bar is spacious and very nicely decorated! We were a group of five so we got to try a few options on the menu and we weren't disappointed. We started off with honey soy chicken wings and the scotch eggs as appetizers. The eggs were unlike anything I've ever had!For entrees, we ordered the masa pancakes, salmon toast, biscuits and gravy and shrimp & grits (x2). One of the shrimp & grits was prepared how it's listed on the menu with pork but for the other, they were able to make the gravy with chicken as I don't eat pork. It was absolutely divine!We didn't have dessert this time but we look forward to dining again and exploring what they have to offer!

This was a cute farmstyle rustic restaurant nestled in Alexandria. Street parking available within the neighborhood. There was outdoor and indoor seating, due to the extreme cool temperatures outside we opted for indoor dining. Highly recommend making reservations to avoid long waiting period. The food was not the highlight of the visit but would come back to try other items on the menu. During the experience we ordered the Hot soy chicken wings (9/10), seafood dip (6/10), M&T Griddle sandwich (8/10), Shrimp and Grits (3/10), and the classic chicken sandwich (7/10). Additions to the service we got drinks and dessert from the features menu. The Brownie with Carmel drizzle and ice cream was undefeated. Would definitely come back for vibes and dessert.

2.09.2025- We had a 9:30am rezzie on Super Bowl Sunday. Reservations are advisable since folks know about this lively little gem in Del Ray. We tried dropping in before & went elsewhere thanks to the extended wait time. Now let's get into it!We started with the seafood dip. A nice smokey dip with crab, shrimp, spinach & cheddar. They served it with griddled buttery bread. For mains, we ordered the shrimp & grits and cornflake crusted French toast & chicken. The shrimp & grits andouille sausage gravy can be subbed for a chicken sausage gravy. The French toast & chicken / waffles are both served with a crispy chicken breast . We also ordered a masa pancake, eggs w/ cheese, & bacon for nephew. The presentation, texture, & flavors were on point. This family friendly spot has a lot of interesting menu items including healthy options that I can't wait to try. I'll definitely return some time soon.

What a yummy and good-vibe spot! On a cold night as a new VA resident, I'd seen this place mentioned everywhere. The seafood dip was SO GOOD, probably the best part of the night.My chefs special was incredible too, and I loved the portions. Waiter was nice but not crazy attentive. Sometimes this can be nice, and I wouldn't lessen my review because of it. I'd love to come back for different times of day again!

My husband and I came here for brunch last weekend and we had a fantastic meal! Breakfast is always such a treat.Service was a bit slow, but they were super busy. Our waiter was extremely friendly! We ordered the French toast and the biscuits and gravy (the waiter's recs)! We added crispy chicken to both. The food was super rich and definitely a treat yourself kind of meal! I don't think they have specialty coffees. Overall, it was a great experience!

For my birthday, I was treated to brunch at Matt and Tony's!!! What an amazing experience. Everything from the ambiance to the customer service and food was TOP TIER and I can't wait to visit again. We visited on a Monday morning around 11 and were seated immediately. The server(who was also great by the way, I wish l could remember her name) quickly came to our table to get our drink orders. All the craft cocktails sounded delicious from the description on the menu. After a few moments and the decision to try more than one drink during this visit, I started off with the Side Quest and my girlfriend had the Clear intentions. Both drinks, 10/10. A perfect balance of flavors. I mean who knew that Cognac, brandy, cherry, apricot, vanilla and almond would be such a perfect combination. After the first sip, I knew that the Side Quest would be my drink of choice for the day! I did taste my girlfriends Clear intentions and again it was perfection!!For food, I had the Prime Steak and potatoes ( skipped on the eggs because I don't eat them) and Carmen had the Cornflake crusted French Toast and added chicken. Both were cooked to perfection and so flavorful. The chicken and steak were both so well seasoned and juicy. The French Toast was thick and fluffy. Slightly crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside. And the pecans were a nice added touch. My steak and potatoes, CHEFS KISS. The potatoes were so good and the steak and chimmichurri were as well. I can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu. Keep up the amazing work Matt and Tonys!!!
