Mad Cow Grill - Brandywine

Everything was delicious I think the jerk chicken could've been a bit spicier for my liking but overall very good and fall of the bone, the rice was so good and the Mac and cheese was perfect I would recommend this place for lunch Service was pretty good as well and the vibe is very laid back.

I never enjoy posting a negative review, however, sometimes it's necessary to do so. I visited Mad Cow Grill- Brandywine today and ordered their Oxtails with two sides (spinach and plantains). This was not my first time at Mad Cow so I was looking forward to the meal. I've ordered this same meal multiple times at this location so I had no hesitation or reason to believe the portion would be any different. There was no real wait time. The guy who took my order was pleasant enough. I was going to also order the Curry chicken and was told they didn't have any today. He added that the meal came with four oxtails. Sounded great I'm thinking I'll have enough for lunch tomorrow. When the food came out I took a quick peak in the bag/container. I saw four pieces and the sides I asked for and I was out the door. When I got home ready for this meal I realized they sold me a single piece of Oxtail that was cut into four sections or slices. And to make matters worse the meat is was tough. They charged me thirty dollars for this. Not sure what happened to Mad Cow Brandywine but they sould be ashamed of themselves. I love to support local small businesses in my community however, the customer deserves reasonable value for what they pay for. I'm very disappointed and unfortunately I would not recommend or support this location again.

I pride myself on being intelligent and calling ahead. However, I now find myself waiting for my food. This place is a dungeon. It's that IRAQ HEAT. LordT, please order ahead or you will have to survive Sauna like conditions. I was trying to choose some desert but, the display is sweating so profusely... I placed my order at 1:30 and it is now 2:03PM and I need to be some where at 2:30. I almost cancelled my order.

The food was great but their hospitality left a lot to be desired. We had the Walking Dead burger and the Game of Thrones burger. We ordered them medium and they came out virtually raw. After sending them back, they came our great. Flavor was spot on and the portion size was big. The house made chips that came with them were delicious as well. In addition to the burgers, we just had to try the Mac and cheese. It was cheesy and gooey. Definitely a good choice!As for hospitality, we came in to try this place for the first time. We were greeted with a smile and a nod when we came in but then ignored. Finally, we had to ask if we could seat ourselves. After sitting down, they brought our menus and took our orders. We had to get up and go to the counter to ask for the cups to get ourselves our drinks. And when our food came out undercooked we had to again walk to the counter to tell someone since no one ever came to the table to check on us. After eating our meal, we again returned to the counter to ask for our check and pay. Overall, the food is great, but I think this staff is better poised for take out service versus eat-in hospitality.

Rasta Pasta is delicious. The best I've ever had. Will definitely order this again. Beef patties were just right.

This is my second visit to the Mad Cow Grill. I was extremely pleased with my food. However, now that I'm visiting for a second time, I come to recognize that customer service during both visits is initially slow. I stood at an empty register for approximately 5 minutes waiting to give my order. The staff who did come to register was inaudible, and I find I have to lean in just hear him. My intent was to sit and have a meal. Considering the tables were left uncleared, i asked could someone to clear a table, but that went undone. I opted for something quick (beef patty) instead of oxtails because I was not feeling that the meal would be any better than the customer service or the ambiance of the place. This establishment potential is there. But it is quickly falling into another poorly managed restaurant. Please do better!

I've been supporting this establishment for years. First the Laurel location & now here in Brandywine. Some of my go to items are jerk salmon, curry shrimp, shrimp tacos, and the popular Rasta pasta... the herb coconut Parmesan sauce is yummy but I ask for light sauce now. Consistent Quality. In the interest of time, I place all my orders online. The staff is accommodating and Mad Cow is very friendly to the cycling community. My bike club has organized rides departing from both locations and we dined outside after the rides. One issue that can easily be addressed. I enjoy plantains but no longer order from here due to the shabby quantity. Mad cow charges $6 for a side and there are normally 5 or less pieces inside the cup. I won't run down the list of places that charge the same amount but you get much more. Aside from that, it's good! . Support!!

Staff is welcoming, atmosphere is good! The chips that came with the burger was perfect, season well, not oily and good size! The GOT is well put together and the bread is soft and fresh. The burger was moist and not over cooked. Will be back

I went here for lunch and the place is located in the mall very easy to find. Parking was good and the place not so crowded, some people were picking up food and some were eating inside like us. Spacious and clean with low sounding music, Island of course. The food was very good and the service provided was good too, I think I would like to go back for dinner. Bathroom is clean.

This is the way you show you no longer care about your establishment. They don't care at all It's hot as hell in there - fans on and still burning - no one answers phone - I called to tell them that my food taste like it's spoiled and no answer just like the day I ordered I called back to back on my way there to order ahead of time with no answer just to get there and it feel like I'm swimming in a pot of soup it's to hot they don't have no AC and business has been shit after the viral moment is over - the portions suck they never balance chicken and pasta ratio correctly - I'm simply over this restaurant
