Lyle's

Lyle's was so good I ate here 2 days in a row! I was on a staycation in the City and Lyle's is the restaurant located in the hotel I stayed at. The first night I had broccolini, Branzino with calamari and oysters as appetizers. The toppings for the oysters were amazing! The oysters were fresh. The calamari was fried to perfection and the sauce with it was tasty! The 2nd night I got the fried chicken dish. It was delish. The portion size is huge and can be shared. I had a mocktail and it was sooooo good and refreshing. For dessert I had the ice cream. I could only take a few bites. The serving size was huge! The customer service was amazing both nights. The waiters are so attentive and really take good care of you. Making sure you have what you need and that food tastes good. The ambiance is relaxing. The low lighting makes it super calming. You cannot go wrong with Lyle's. It's been added as one of my fave spots. It was extra perfect for my staycation at Lyle Hotel.

Saw their "girl dinner" advertised all over instagram and was excited to try it out before the month ended! Unfortunately, there was no advertisement that this was only available at the bar - so we begrudgingly ordered from the regular menu. With an open style kitchen, we got a front row view of everything coming out of the kitchen - and it all looked delicious. We joked the burger looked like a crabby patty - almost fake looking it was so perfect! We were super impressed by the food quality - crab cake had a crispy exterior, curly fries cooked to perfection, and the crab Mac and cheese was the right amount of indulgent. The Brussels were not my favorite - barely a whisper of raisins or bacon, heavy on the pickled flavor.While the food was delicious, the service fell flat. Super slow, even while the dining room was not busy and there were multiple servers. We watched as our food was placed in the ready line and untouched for a long time so food got colder and ice cream melted. Our need for accommodations/sides were not met without follow up. Overall, I would like to come back as the food was excellent and the menu rotates. The vibes and decor were excellent, and this would definitely be a fun spot with a big group or even just for a drink.

Visited here for Saturday brunch. The food was fairly good! I got salmon toast with an over easy egg. My bf got steak and eggs with a side of pork sausage. We both got bottomless mimosas. The food was good, portions are small! Steak 7/10 (cooked well, he said it wasn't juicy). Salmon toast (7.5/10) good, just a small portion. The mimosas tore us up!! So definitely worth it to get bottomless! Ambiance of the restaurant was gorgeous, there was a dj present who played great music (mix of hip hop and r&b). Our server was great.

Came here with some friends for their girl dinner. It's an absolutely amazing idea. It comes with a Caesar salad, fries and martini. They really load up the fry baskets so it was filling. Finished with desserts, loved them all but by far the Apple desert was the best.

Had a great time having girl dinner at the bar! Such a smart and fun promotion. The curly fries and Cesar salad were yummy and the martini was perfect. We were given some chocolate truffles to take home and could not have asked for a better night! Such a fun way to get dinner with a girlfriend! The ambiance was very cool with the dim lights and intimate seating. Can't wait to come back and try their usual menu!

Visiting from out of town. This brunch spot is in a nice hotel with great decor and ambiance (love the soft lighting). I recommend coming here for brunch because we came an hour early and couldn't order from the brunch menu, only the breakfast which was understandable but just as a heads up to others. Our server was slightly cold & not very friendly. The food was decent and at a fair price

The ambiance of Lyle's restaurant was so nice! It was upscale and nicely decorated however, it was also comfortable and casual at the same time. However, the tables were placed INCREDIBLY close to one another. It felt like I was a part of the party that was seated next to us because our tables were so close. Not even one foot a part. There were a few groups of 6-8 people so they can accommodate larger parties as well as small groups of 2-4. Aside from that, I really enjoyed the music from the DJ, although they ended pretty abruptly around 2:30 pm. The servers confused us a bit with the options for the bottomless mimosas but, aside from that, they were knowledgeable and attentive. The food was surprisingly good! When I first received my meal of eggs benedict, I was not enthusiastic at first because it looked very plain but the flavors were delicious and the portion was perfect for me. I also enjoyed my lavender margarita a lot. My friend really enjoyed her short rib hash as well and bottomless mimosas.

Went for Sunday brunch with the girlies. We had a time! DJ Coco Spinelle was on the 1s and 2s-she hit it out of the park and had us grooving!enjoyed the bites and the entrees-I had chicken and waffles which was delicious and I recommend a little berry sauce on the side to really set it off. Others at the table had steak and eggs, the monkey bread and short rib hash and everyone seemed to enjoy! The service was a bit spotty-difficult to find my waiter and no one assisted despite me even stopping someone to inquire. They also mixed up our orders. But the ambiance and food saves the day so I'll be back!

Back at my favorite brunch spot this weekend! The service wasn't as great as I'm used to but the vibes were still high. There was some confusion with our reservation and we had to wait about 20 minutes before we could be seated. Once seated they told us we had to rush but then no one came over to us for a while. Once we got someone they'd let us know that last call had already passed so we couldn't do the bottomless option and that some of their food options were no longer available. Luckily for us the waiter made an accommodation and was able to bring us espresso martinis that were 10/10 absolutely delicious. I got the burger for the first time and it was pretty good. I still stand by the short rib hash--it's even better.Moral of the story get a reservation for like 12 pm to ensure you have enough time and are not rushed. Brunch ends at 3 pm. I'll be back!

Came with my girlies for brunch - had a great time! The space is very pretty; clean, modern, and cozy. Love the color combo in here too! They had a live DJ which is always cool. We started with two brioche donuts because it was that delicious. It came with a wildberry jam that was really delicious! I had the short rib hash that was fantastic! great flavor, the short rib was so tender, and the serving size was perfect. Marcus was so kind and sent over waffles for us to have as well. Good waffles, but needed more of the sauce! Overall great experience! Definitely need to come back because their dinner menu looks great!
