BEST. Lobster roll. Ever. Seriously I can never go anywhere else again. I tried the winter special, white truffle oil roll with a side of lobster bisque. Such huge perfectly cooked chunks of lobster beautifully nestled in a molded piece of Texas toast. You should go here for a surpringly delicious and quaint experience. It's small, not a lot of seating, not good for large groups, but worth it!

I got the seafood trio. The rolls here are pretty decent. Not the best rolls I've had but not bad at all.

New England style lobster shop. The food is fresh, local-sustainable sourced seafood and the atmosphere is casual. The eating space is limited, but there is seating for dining in. Prices are somewhat steep, but they are totally worth it.This tiny shop in in Georgetown DC offers lobster, crab, and shrimp rolls as the main attraction. Coleslaw and pickles are optional, but essential sides for your roll. Also, they offer chips, sodas and brew as a option as well. The roll itself, at first glance, is not huge at all....BUT, I will be honest and must admit here.....it is packed with lobster meat! I talkin' a mound of seafood served chilled atop a buttered, griddled New England split-top bun. There is definitely a hint of mayo-herb based dressing and lemon that hit your taste buds...but the finisher is the highlight for me. I'm talking about that hot, melted warm-butter drizzled all over the sandwich and topped off with some kind of old bay seasoning that's a winner!! I couldn't put my finger on...but definitely memorable. Talk about an "amuse-bouche"...me being fancy to say...perfectly, small bites of heaven. And, saying small in measure is by no means to say it is not satisfying. The sandwich alone was surprisingly filling and met all expectations. You can tell the focus of the sandwich is all about "Da Lobstah!"The shrimp and crab rolls fall in line to this cadence. They are stuffed full of juicy seafood...and are even more affordable than the signature lobster roll. The clam chowder and the lobster bisque are both admirable renditions as well. I recommend Luke's Lobster. If you are looking for the true taste of a Maine Lobster roll meal, be sure to stop by here!* Honorable Mention: They offer a Lobster Grill Cheese Sandwich....that I am definitely eyeing and looking to try on my next visit

Went to Luke's Lobster with a friend on a Friday afternoon. It was pouring out so it wasn't packed and the staff was very welcoming. Luke's lobster always has great quality food and comes out in a timely manner. Even though it's not exactly a sit down greeted by server type restaurant, they still bring the food to wherever you decide to sit which is nice because you don't have to awkwardly stand in front of them until the food is ready. The only down side is that the price range is very high. It is high quality food though so I'm not complaining, but it's just not something I would get on a daily basis.

If you're craving heaping chunks of lobster, Luke's is the place to go. Their menu options are simple (crab, lobster, or shrimp) but will definitely satisfy. We went for lunch on Memorial Day, and luckily arrived right before the lunch rush. The employees were SUPER friendly and more than willing to guide us through the menu and options. They greeted everyone in line and you could tell they were enjoying their day too, which just helps the overall atmosphere that much. For the food, we ordered the lobster combo. It's definitely meant to be a personal order. The lobster was chilled, and covered in hot butter + seasoning on an absolutely delicious roll. Was definitely one of the best lobster:roll ratios I've ever seen. Would definitely recommend and go back!

The best Luke's I have been to so far.Everything about this Luke's, sans the location (which then is not bad - just off the beaten path a little) is perfect. Even the prices were good for DC standards.I got myself a Lobster and Shrimp roll, knowing my last experience with the Crab roll was not good, I avoided it. Unlike the other two locations, they put a sign up telling customers to ask for the pickle in case you forget! That is HUGE. That pickle is an enormous bonus not to be left out.The rolls here are amazing. Fresh, plump, and bursting with flavor. The young man behind the counter appeared happy to be there and really seemed happy to help out any customer. I pointed out that it showed in the product. It was clearly made passion and a zeal for seafood. The rolls are filled to the brim with shrimp and lobster, which I was really happy with - and yes I got my pickles, good in their own right. It is also walking distance to the Riverfront, so you can take it to go and enjoy a nice lunch or dinner waterside if you choose. Or you can eat in and just people spot in Georgetown. Entirely up to you.I will definitely be back here. You guys rock!

I went to Luke's Lobster for dinner and got The Luke's Trio (1/2 lobster roll, 1/2 crab roll, and 1/2 shrimp roll). The quality was good, though the portion size wasn't really enough to make me full. For $19, it isn't that cheap, but it's nice to be able to eat those 3 meats in a single order. To drink, I got the Luke's Blueberry Lemonade, which might've been the sweetest drink I've ever had- a bit too sweet for me with the combination of lemon juice and honey. The guy working there (looked like the manager) was super friendly and patient even though we arrived at the restaurant right before it was scheduled to close. He walked me through the menu options and clearly cared about good customer service. The exterior of the restaurant makes it look like a little cozy place and the interior is nicely designed with seating on two floors.Overall, Luke's Lobster has good lobster/crab/shrimp rolls at a fine price with great customer service. In particular, I would recommend The Luke's Trio or one of the combos.

Lobster that's actually worth what you paid for!My boyfriend and I were wandering around Georgetown before an event this past Saturday and were hungry so we looked up places nearby that served soup since it was cold and windy. We went in around 11am when the store had just opened. When we arrived we were the only ones but it quickly filled up! This location is tucked in a street off the main road, close to Georgetown Cupcakes. They have a few deals for a soup and a sandwich or roll so we decided to try the lobster grilled cheese which was amazing! The lobster chunks were nice and big and there was a good portion of lobster in our gc. The sandwich was made with cheddar but I was impressed at the gooey melty texture and quality (thank god it was not the bright orange kind!). The clam chowder was also very satisfying. Not too salty or creamy. It was nice the soup was "chunky", as in you can actually see and taste the generous amount of clam and potatoes, so that you know you're not just getting ripped off by blended canned clams and heavy cream. We also got a pickle on the side which was quite crisp! It reminds me of Potbelly's pickles which I love. The two of us split this combo (total $22) which was adequate before yoga and got us by until lunch. For one person though it's a bit pricey but that's just how things are priced with lobster. It was worth it though for the amount of seafood you get and the quality & taste. Definitely interested in trying the lobster roll next time we're in the area!

Exceeded expectations! I'm not big on seafood, but my friend is and that's why we came here. It was amazing. Definitely worth the try! We got the trio and split them. Lobster roll, shrimp roll, and crab roll. I can confidently say that I'm a fan of seafood rolls now. The bread of each roll was buttered and baked to perfection and the seafood on each roll was fresh and tasty! I would HIGHLY recommend trying this place out the next time you're in Georgetown. They also had wine there which was nice! We got Chardonnay and It was gooWe also got dessert! They had ginger cookies and the cashier mentioned that they have ice cream sandwiches too. Not sure if It is seasonal but we got the pumpkin ice cream sandwiches in between two ginger cookies. AMAZING!! The perfect fall flavor ice cream sandwich, especially if you enjoy pumpkin flavored items and ginger snap cookies (except perfectly chewy rather than hard). The place itself is super cute and small. Two levels. Super rustic, nautical vibe. Loved It!

I've always loved lobster and haven't been able to find a place that does lobster rolls well. This is the place! Although it is pricey, the food was high quality. Very fresh seafood!I'd recommend the lobster roll and the clam chowder! The lobster roll is perfectly toasted, buttery, and filled with fresh lobster meat. It is simple, yet so delicious. I also really liked the clam chowder because it's creamy but not heavy. The soup was filled with clams and potatoes. You have to get the Ice Tea Lemonade here! It's like an upgrade from Arnold Palmer. Advice- the shrimp and crab rolls are not that good. Stick to what they do well here: lobster rolls.Overall, I wouldn't come here often because the prices are pretty steep. However, it's definitely a good experience!
