Luke's Lobster Farragut

2.5 stars for good lobster but long waits.I've been going to Luke's Lobsters since I lived in Georgetown prior to the pandemic. While the price is a little high, the lobster rolls were always delicious and made fast. When I started working in downtown DC and saw a Luke's Lobster was located nearby at 17th and H, I figured I would be going there for quite a few lunches.While I have gone to this Luke's for several lunches and enjoyed either a delicious lobster roll or a seafood roll flight, along with Cape Cod chips and a soda, the problem I keep having is the timeframe. I have been to Luke's about 3 or 4 times in the last 6 months, and each time the process took around an hour. Several times I have walked-in and nobody is watching the register. While I understand people are busy (and a medical issue popped up on one occasion), it isn't great for me to bring colleagues here and have to waive someone down to order. We then have had to wait several times due to supply issues or some other unknown issue that leads to a nearly hour wait, and usually the tables haven't been fully wiped down, so we are just sitting around waiting in filth. Considering my old orders at the Georgetown and Chinatown locations were in and out in about 10 minutes, this repeated delay has been particularly frustrating.Overall, Luke's Lobster provides delicious food. However, the wait time issues I have had multiple times over several months makes this more of a dinner spot than a lunch spot for me.

The lobster roll itself was very flavorful and delicious. The only reason for 3 stars is because I either got shell or sand in a bite I took. Gritty and off putting. But other than that the bread was good and the flavor of the lobster was perfect. Fast service.

Small, simple and expensive but it's delicious. Has huge chunks of lobster claw. Place is smokey inside...probably the butter burning

So good (but not cheap). Only ever had lobster rolls here and they are amazing, jammed packed with succulent lobster. (They beat Mason's Lobster hands down!)

Maine Lobster roll in the heart of DC!I would prefer simple with just Mayo, but the roll and the chowder were pretty good!

Ok...so, I asked Kayla???....what to get...I ordered the clam chowder and lobster roll..Let's start with the customer service...100% the best!!!!The place... lots of room and cleanLobster roll-- don't let the size fool you. Packed with lobster and the taste is all you ask for in a lobster roll and the bread is soft and perfectClam chowder-- WOW!!... nice big pieces of clam,..creamy, powerful clam chowder taste..a 10!!!!Kayla?....your the best!!

Who doesn't love lobster rolls??I usually don't review franchises but the service at this location was sooo good! I left thinking about how nice the staff were lol. I wish there were a little bit more food options but it's definitely a good meal or snack.

Food was great and reasonable priced! Conveniently located downtown love the simplicity

Delicious and added to my vacation memories. Will definitely return and tell others to visit as well.
