DO IT. Get the dirty bird bun and fries. These fries ruined all other fries for me. These are sooo good! Nice and thick with a crunchy outer shell but fluffy interior. The white sauce that comes with them is excellent! The chicken sandwich was also delicious- LOVED the thin sliced white onion and pickles. The chicken was freshly made and we really enjoyed it!

First time visit to Lucky Buns. Today I paid for a burger & fries - it was $27.50 with tax. Was the burger & fries good - yes. $27.50 good? In my opinion, for the price of the burger the fries should come with it (I guess I feel a burger & fries shouldn't even cost $20). The burger was also quite a bit spicier than expected and a little pink in the middle. I guess I didn't notice any mention that their "Lucky Sauce" would be fairly spicy. The service was friendly enough, nothing detrimental - it could be that there were only a few employees so maybe their focus was put into getting the orders taken & made right. I would buy their burger again but probably would skip the fries because the fry price was a bit exorbitant combined with a slightly overpriced burger.

I came and visited Union Market recently, and Lucky Buns caught my eye the most out of all the food stalls. I got a Hot Tiger Bun, and was really happy with my choice! The chicken has a fantastic crisp, and is very well seasoned throughout. Super juicy as well! The chili oil they use actually takes like authentic Chinese chili oil, and it complements the chicken seasoning really well. The other toppings (pickles, ranch, etc.) help balance the sandwich. The bun was a bit sad; I wish they had used a brioche bun for a spongier, bouncier texture, but I'm sure it's just easier to reuse their burger buns. My only other complaint is that the portion size is actually pretty small considering the price. I had to go grab another snack after, while most chicken sandwiches fill me up!Definitely will be back if visiting Union Market!

Customer service here is a hit or miss and so is the food. I've been times where my food was great and I've been separate times where the food wasn't the best. It's super convenient so I'll definitely continue to visit, it's just over all inconsistent. It's in the market so there's no place for you to sit directly like some other restaurant in union market but finding seating outside or somewhere else is easy.Regardless of the inconsistencies, I LOVE chicken sandwiches so I'm going to keep trying because I'm greedy LOL!!

Great sandwiches. Favorite location is Union market. They pump out the sandwiches with speed. Great service and awesome staff. Union market location is food hall so it gets noisy. You can go to their Adam's Morgan or Wharf location for sit down service. Favorite sandwich is Dirty Bird Nashville hot chicken sandwich.

I guess have never reviewed the union market location - just as good as the others, with a slightly abridged menu (no bogan bun :/). But the lucky bun/belly bun will do (and the chicken sandos), love the thick cut fries and this location has "patatas bravas" aka their fries served with a side of romesco which are delicious. Messy, delicious burgers, melty gouda with a nice peppery/fresh bite from arugula, really like their meat mix/seasoning.

Lucky Buns is a cute little spot with delicious sandwiches + burgers. My go-to is the Chicky Bun (tandoori marinated and char-grilled chicken, gouda cheese, lucky sauce, arugula, charred red onion, pickles). *Chef's kiss* This was my first time trying the Hot Tiger bun, which is great if you love spicy food. Unfortunately, my bun had mold. If I'm paying upwards of $16 for a meal, I want it to be satisfied. The employees were apologetic and gave me a new bun, but I will be more aware when I eat here in the future.

Juicy Burger Bliss!Rating: Lucky Buns at Union Market is a great place to go for an absolutely mouthwatering burger experience. I had their burger recently, and it was surprisingly incredibly juicy and delicious. The patty was cooked to perfection, and every bite was bursting with flavor. I opted to pair the burger with fresh, crispy fries. Yum. I was super full, which I love. No complaints from me!

Super expensive chicken sandwich and fries. the sandwich had good flavor but the bread to patty ratio was off and there was more breading than protein which made it taste crunchy and dry. The fries were good, but it's hard to mess up fries. So Ehh I probably won't be back or I'll try a different location.
